Booking .com made 2 bookings for us First one in italy-como which is Best Western Hotel ContinentalCOMO/ITALY 2nd.Best Western hotel international. ANNECY/FRANCE. THE EVER best Best Western Hotel Continental-COMO/ITALY We were on a holiday trip mainly in italy we found this hotel is the best among all our stations from the other two of Milan and Florence, where the booking was done by another agency. BUT NOT THE FOLLOWING ONE OF ANNECY/FRANCE Booking.com did our Annecy hotel booking where we suffered in that hotel nothing to grade in that hotel if there is lower than poor we will selsct it if we are going to describe that hoetl which is also Best Western chain but under this name " Best Western""Hotel International"19 Avenue du Rhone 7400 Annecy": 1-very tight rooms.(ABSOLUTE TIGHT) 2- the smallest ever seen in my life separated shower/bath. 3-no soap only shower gel but nothing for hand wash. 4- categeorated as 4* but may be 3* fell down and one remained if iwant to be optimestic. 5-the rate no way worth the facility you get they are over over priced their rooms. This hotel is not more than "BED & BREAFAST" and this also if I have to be fair . Best Western Hotel Continental /como is an excellent hotel everything is excellent

The room was very clean; and the location was excellent; it is 8 minutes' walk from the train station, and about 10 to the city centre. It is value for money. Breakfast was very decent. The restaurant menu could be expanded a bit, and the price reduced.

Friendliness of staff on reception. Location was good for access to centre of Como - 10 minute walk. Relatively expensive for what is was. Bedrooms were small and a bit dated.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and the room well kept. The area where the hotel is located looks like a dump, the foyer has been refurbished and looks amazing so it made me think the rooms would be the same standard but they were old and rather shabby in comparison. Breakfast was ok but not the lavish experience promised. For the same price you can stay closer to the lake in a more salubrious establishment.

Close to train station and the centre of Como, friendly service, clean comfortable rooms, and great breakfast! Its location is good when it comes to its distance from the main areas, however it is not in a nice area itself. This would not stop us coming back to the hotel, but if you like to sit in your room and look at the view this is not the hotel for you.

The location is very near to S.Giovanni trainstation. So one is easily connected with direct trains to Milano and Zürich. It is only a short walk to the lake and the boats for a cruise on the wonderfull lake Como. 5 minutes walk to the historical centre of Como with its wonderful Duomo and many other churches and bulidings. We really enjoyed magic lights organized by the amici di como. It was really great. In the neighbourhood of the hotel are nice little trattorias which offer local dishes.

Fully equiped and complete hotel. Reasonably quiet location in spite of main street. Location is a bit off-beat from the autostrada. Rooms is slightly worn. Bathroom shower stall is too small. I could get in but probably not all us guests that they will no doubt have. Maybe they have other rooms and size you up at checkin :-). Parking was on the street with coins to fill up to 20:00. I expected inhouse parking but it was ok.

Although it was super off peak season in Nov, the reception staff thru out were all warm and friendly. They didnt shortcut the bf even though we were probably the only 2-3 rooms there? And the fact it was close to the train station was perfect (5mins walk) Great!

Staff was very helpfull and kind,giving us all the relevant information we needed. Room was spacious,very clean and tidy.They have cleaned it even on sunday for us:o) Breakfast were full and they have served us even before 7.Hotel is situated very near to Swizerland borders.There is lovely pizzeria only about 100m away from hotel.Highly recommended.There is a public carpark in front of hotel which is much more cheaper then hotel's one.We were happy with services and we would like to come back:o)

The staff were very kind and helpful. Very friendly. Location was fantastic easy off the train from Milan Centrale and a short walk. Great location for the lake and old town. Very reasonably priced, excellent breakfast. Room and beds very comfortable. Nicely furnished, would definitely recommend to fellow travelers.

Very friendly check-in. Let us leave our luggage before room was ready. Very close to the train station for an early morning departure. Only a few blocks, 10 minutes, to walk to downtown and harbor of Como.
