As with all the independently run B.Westerns we've stayed at, we found it very professionally run, and with attention to detail. The English speaking staff were very helpful with providing maps, wifi codes and running the bar. Great location, just minutes walk from the centre. The only disappointment was that our 'non smoking' room, was either an ex-smoking room, or someone had broken the rules! The strong smoke smell did detract from our comfort slightly, but it wouldn't put me off returning to this hotel.

Excellent staff (particularly helpful), facilities, location and value for money. Very good position for exploring and sightseeing in Turin, being close to railway station and underground. Buses and trams also. Tourist info across the road and easily walkable to main sights. Excellent breakfast. Superb room. Very handy for the airport bus too.

The Hotel Genova is in a very central location in Turin opposite one of the two mainline stations and near the historic centre. The building is handsome and the decor very pretty. Our room was excellent value for money. Like many hotels, the central heating was too hot!

The hotel staff at reception was exceptionally friendly. We left the hotel at 4.00 o'clock in the morning and even at that time they offered to make coffie and something to eat.

Location and price Too small and dark room on 3d Floor, loudy, cold. The heater could not provide enough warm. Loud clock on the street bells every hour. In the morning all the sounds of the railway station and outside work start at 7. Breakfast is good but is served in the cold basement without windows. Maybe I was unhappy but the impression is very poor.

Really friendly staff. They even gave us a special cd for us and mini nutellas for us to take home to our children! They made an extra effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Would stay again if in Turin. Breakfast choice was fairly wide too. Just around corner for airport shuttle bus. All in all perfect for our needs.

Excellent value, comfortable and clean with untiringly courteous staff. Nice breakfast by Italian standards. Free access to internet. Right next to the station and ten minutes from the centre of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Plenty of exceptionally good restaurants nearby.

The location is excellent. Extremly close from train station and also close from city center. I booked a single room and they gave me queen size bed. It was great compare to my previous booking of the other hotel in ohter city(It was a nightmare at that time.smallest bed in my entire life) Staffs are very friendly and their restaurant recommendation was also great. I really enjoyed my stay at Best Western Hotel Genova.

The staff were very efficient with great recommendations for dinner. We were able to extend our stay by a night without any issues. Look out for the manager who works very long hours (twin brothers - they fooled us!!!) The location directly opposite the train station was perfect for us coming in on a late train and leaving early as well.

Good selection at breakfast which is included. 24 hour front desk staff. Right across from train station exit. The air conditioning was turned off between 9am and 4 pm. This was not a big deal. Since I showered twice during this period though - it did make the room somewhat stuffy. The room is quite dark due stain glass windows as well as regular windows and shutters. Everything can be opened but again if the air conditioning is on you would normally be looking through the stain glass windows.

The staff were excellent and very helpfull. The hotel was spotless qnd well furnished. It is a short walk to the city centre & piazzas/sites. A word of constructive criticism is that the hotel should make it clearer on their W.W.W. regarding their parking facilities. Saying that the staff were more than helpfull in sorting this out for us.

I thought that the desk staff was the most professional and helpful I have ever seen. They went out of their way to help us and the advice they gave us was right on the mark. And the location across the street from the Porto Novo train station was great for a tired train traveler. The feel of the hotel was old European comfort and service ... nice. Room was small, but comfortable. It was obvious that they are trying to cram as much modern convenience into an older hotel's space as possible.

“The location of Town House 70 for a visit to Torino simply cannot be beat. Everything is just steps out the door. The staff was wonderfully helpful, the internet worked, the room was marvelously quiet and comfortable (we asked for a room facing the courtyard). I would stay there again and recommend it to everybody.” Kathleen, New York City |
