Great range of breakfast, available on the terrace. Is situated in middle of the town. Eat an excellent dinner at La Brace on Via San Vitale, or at La Mela near to Piazza Maggiore. Both at reasonable price. No bath tube in any of the rooms. The reception desk does not fit into this kind of environment. By asking for our key they did not ask for any personal information just handed us our key, so we felt our belongings a little insecure?

Indifferent staff 7-10 breakfast ended promptly at 9:50. Although not affecting us the staff's primary interest was to leave asap. Unable to direct us to hotel and parking....a fiasco. Lots of glitz and no substance . I've stayed at hotels in 64 countries so I do have a yardstick. Air conditioner inadequate as well.

The value of the location and price is excellent! The hotel is situated within 10 minutes walking to the train station. The hotel is small and cosy. The breakfast is ok. Free wi-fi. No iron at the hotel!

The position is very good but it was noisy because of the bar downstairs. Hopewever we loved the fact that we could walk everywhere. The view from the 4th floor is amazing. We want to particularly recommend Bologna. What a beautiful city. We feel that more people from South Africa should visit it. Our next visit will be longer. Thank you You cant help the noise outside but the room was facing the bar and the noise went on till around 4am

Location and staff are outstanding. The roof-top terrace is exquisite for a picnic dinner at sunset. The coffee at breakfast was weak - please serve strong Italian coffee.

There is no better place for location, we did everything on foot. The staff is very friendly & helpful. Price wise it was a very good hotel, very clean, centrally located. The only thing we did not like was their shower space - so tiny that everytime I scrub / soap myself, I always bang my elbow against the shower door.

Very convenient position for looking around Bologna. Staff and facilities are both excellent. Hotel was quite full and under these circumstances, the breakfast room became quite busy although I myself didn't have to wait for a table.

the room was very comfortable and well decorated and furnished. There was also a beautifull view to the towers and the old buildings of the city.Breakfast had a big variety and very good quality. Due to Its central location all interesting places were in walking distance.

Very good location city centre rooms . The best part were the small patios for relaxation , view and sunshine A bit far from train station if your carrying suitcases. The hotel needs updating urgently. There are no coffee and tea facilities in the room, as in other best western hotels, although there is free coffee in the afternoon in the bar area, but if nobody informs you , you miss out . Very noisy not very good insullation from upstairs and next door toilets

We really liked the 2 roof-top terraces. Unfortnately it rained every day during our trip so we only managed to sit out for about 10 minutes! The staff were really wonderful, particularly the reception staff and the bar staff. But all were very friendly and polite. We would stay at the hotel again if we ever travel to Bologna again.

The staff is very professionnal and always available . The beds are so small ....I broke my back ....If you are big like me : 1,88 and 95kgs, ask them for a king bed !

It is a basic hotel and I think there is nothing special about it. Reception staff were not helpful. Had to ask for directions and ask again to be pointed to location on map and how to get to train station etc.Convoluted directions and difficult to follow. There is only one receptionist at any time and the person takes so long dealing with each customer that you are forever waiting, if even all you have is a single question. Limited drinks in mini bar. some platters not replenished at breakfast. Plates and cutlery not replaced and guests were using cereal bowls for bread, scrambled eggs etc. The hotel will benefit from better informed, English speaking staff

I loved the views; it was beautiful to sit in a terrace and see most beautiful roof tops of Bologna. It is wonderful to have a room with a view. A little bit outdated and a smell in the corridor. However, in the newer part of the hotel did not have a smell in the corridor. Overall, it's a lovely hotel for a short stay.
