all the staff were very polite and helpful. nice breakfast. I chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the industrial part of the port. It's in a good area with supermarket near by, bars and restaurants, the bus station is just a few meters down the road and you can reach the town centre in 10 minutes. Bus no 10 for the main piazza or no 1 for the train station. from airport take bus 51 which will take you to the train station in an hour.

the walls are a bit thin so I could hear the tv in the next room, but it's Italy, I was expecting that.

Good location, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Good choice for cold breakfast, some hot food offered. A taxi from the centre of Trieste to the hotel cost €12 (or on foot takes about 30 minutes). From the airport to centre of Trieste catch no. 51 bus from outside the airport, takes 50-60 minutes and costs only €3.50 each way per person.

There were no tea making facilities in rooms (bookings.com had stated that there were - misleading) and at breakfast only fruit, mint or camomile teabags were offered. However, the hotel staff were very accommodating and provided us with a hot drink on arrival - as we arrived late evening,

Relative easy to find from motorway. Parking close by or underhotel. Hotel within reasonable walking distance to centre (15 mins). Hotel looking a little tired but overall good.

Room quite small. Location not as described on the web! --- It is bad!!!!!

- Quiet and clean room - Very nice breakfast - An underground private car park is available for the hotel: it is very convenient (= it is not easy to park in the streets) - There is a bus station (direct line to the central railway station) It is a perfect stay if you want a clean and "budget" place, with all the quality of services traditionnally offered by the Best western chain.

- Fridge (cold water in summer time!) was not operating in room. - No restaurant in the hotel if you are a late arrival ; but there is a very good pizzeria around the corner. - Of course, the location is not a city center one, if you search for a stay in the heart of Trieste. It is a suburban position in a "mass market" district, and you need a car or a taxi if you really intend to go to Trieste by night.

Nice location in the city center. Plenty of space in the rooms.

No room service (cleaning. ets) supposed during your staying. Gas, water supplies need to be revised in time. Double bed is not actually double.

Receptionists were very friendly and we enjoyed the cappuccinos at breakfast.

There is the inconvenience of some streetnoise which is inevitable in an Italian city.

According to the price, this was not a good hotel. I had problems with internet. Staff has changed my room.

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for our needs.

The size of the room, though perhaps there is no help for that in an old city and a small building.

Location. Payment: was charged twice: from the credit card by booking, and cash by checking out. Nevertheless the receptionist explained that they never charged money from the credit cards, but just reserved them, the total amount had been charged from the credit card by booking (after my comming back home this info was confirmed by my bankers). Hope it will not take too long time until repayment is done.

Comfort for the good price. A very clean and comfortable place.

The entrance and finishing of the hotel still are waiting for the better look :)

La gentilezza del personale e l'abbondante colazione.

Il prezzo del garage ( 16 euro al giorno) è esageratamente alto. In altri hotel che frequento costa meno o addirittura è gratuito. A Milano 10 euro al giorno ( Idea Hotel ) a Roma è gratuito ( Zone Hotel.Manca il frigo bar.

Noi abbiamo soggiornato nel residence attiguo all'albergo, molto spazioso, ben fornito di diversi accessori, addirittura due condizionatori e stufa in bagno, doccia molto ampia, pulito e tenuto bene. La colazione si fa in hotel ed è varia e ben fornita.

In un posto così ben tenuto alcuni piccoli particolari dovrebbero essere curati di più per es. inserire un cestino in bagno.

Sul sito di Booking questo Best Western è dato per un 4 stelle. All'arrivo abiamo constatato che era un 3 stelle. No problem certo, ma vorrei trovare ciò che ho prenotato! Il parcheggio dell'hotel costa €16,00! Nella via appena dietro l'hotel c'è un parcheggio pubblico, via Antonio Gramsci,dalle 8.00 alle 20.00 è gratuito!!!! Il personale cordiale il minimo sindacabile!
