Best Western Hotel Universo

The room was nice but did not have a view not that many rooms in Rome would have a view. It also had free internet in the room.

The staff were very rude & unhelpful. Upon checkin we were told that our room did not exist and they were not appolagetic at all. The staff at breakfast time were very rude & unwelcoming. They started packing up breakfast even before 10.30am. I saw some patrons turn up right on 10.30 and they were told to go to the bar & order a meal. Althought the bathroom looked nice the water in the shower poured out which became annoying having to mop up the water. I dont mind a few splashes but the shower we had the water just poured out.

General service was good and food (breakfast) was good. I found the reception staff a bit tetchy on arrival - about 10:00pm on Friday 18th.Room was excellent.

I found the glass shelf over the foot wash to be a hazzard as I hit my head off it several times.Air conditioning needs to be explained on arrival as controls vary from hotel to hotel

Room is nice and clean, good bathrooms and good service compared to other hotels in rome at the same price and in the same area. Desk staff might seem a bit rude at first but then you understand they are just like local people in Rome, they go straight to the point and they are helpful in their own way.

Too flippin' hot in the rooms. No way of getting the room a bit cooler unless by opening the window. And there are some very noisy engines outside in the (ugly) courtyard. So you either suffer the heat or you sleep with the loud noise. I would definitely recommend it if it wasn't for this aspect.

Friendly, efficient, clean, great location

Location was very good. Breakfast was also good. Hotel staff member named Mario was very friendly and helpful.

Staff members, although basically friendly, were not helpful (except for Mario). Asked for extra blanket upon arrival due to cold room temperature (we were told we could not turn off the air). Did not get the blanket until next morning. Unacceptable.

Conveniently located in walking distance from the metro and train station to explore central and greater Rome. Also, not too far to walk to the main districts. Very easy to get from the train station to the hotel. The room was perfect - comfortable and clean. The hotel is very well run and staff were highly efficient and friendly. We would definately stay here again.

asked for a double room and got a double bed!!!! the room was tiny.breakfast isn't their strong point either...

Un hotel a Roma relamente a 4 stelle: camera molto ampia e ben arredata, nuova e pulita, tutto funzionante. Internet LAN gratuito (finalmente!). Servizi dell'hotel all'altezza.

La zona non è il massimo anche se molto centrale e comoda per tutto. Ma non è colpa dell'albergo.

Bra läge vid Termini, gångavstånd till det mesta, fräscht, god frukostbuffé, gratis internet.

Ingen safetybox på rummet, buller från hiss och fläktar

Die Lage

Zimmer sehr klein. Heizung konnte nicht abgestellt werden, immer 28 Grad, auch nachts. Frühstück, wenig abwechslungsreich. Duschtür schließt nicht, immer Überschwemmung im Bad.

Puerta de servicio a ascensor de servicio en planta 3 hace un ruido espantoso al cerrarse me imagino que en las demás plantas también deberían insonorizarlas

camera e relativo settore dell'hotel freddi senza riscaldamento;moquette,mobili e servizi igienici obsoleti.Le foto delle camere mostrate nel web dell'hotel, non corrispondono alla stanza assegnata.E' evidente che è stato rinnovato solo parte dell'albergo.

Ottimo hotel che già conosceva da più di vent'anni, comodo come posizione, ottimi servizi.

Non so se ci sono problemi se si arriva in macchina.
