Best Western Hotel Universo is gevestigd in een 19de-eeuws pand met design interieur en ligt op 300 meter van het Termini Station. De moderne kamers beschikken over gratis WiFi en een 22-inch lcd-tv. Good location--comfortable room--modern design-- perfect room temperature --quiet--day staff helpful and polite. Lots of good restaurants around (you must visit alessio) Train and tube stations within walking distance. Very poor breakfast. Had breakfast the first 2 mornings and gave it a miss the following 3. It wasnt worth going back. You can not serve orange juice from a machine, the service was slow and the food trays once emptied not refilled. Night staff not so helpful.

The best part of this hotel was the location.. So close to the Republica Metro and all the other locations.. The staffs were very useful, specially Michael..

Location ( Very near to the Termini Station) around 5 minutes walking. Free Wi-Fi. Computer and printer in the lobby available to all guest. Clean Room. Room is kinda Small. Bathtub is bad. Breakfast is so bad. Staff was not helpful at all (I asked for and adapter to charge my laptop and cell phone the didnt have and they didnt even try to look for one) I had to buy one for 8 euros across the street from the hotel. I asked for a 2 hours late check out they didnt give me. Again Breakfast is so bad. Better not to take breakfast. Mini bar is very small. No safe in the room I had to leave my stuff at the reception before going out to visit the city.

The staff were rude, surly, unfriendly and rather stupid. The refusal to supply any complimentary water in the gym is absurd as is the requirement that you must keep coming to the reception desk to get your ridiculous internet access code they keep changing as they refuse to give it to you over the phone. The reception staff were very helpful and spoke perfect English. There is a luggage porter which was handy for us a family of 4. The rooms were modern, air conditioned and clean. The breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold food and there was a bar where you could order a cup of tea for your room. We paid 50euro to extend our check out until 3.30 because we had to return our hire car to Rome airport and get back to Termini station by 4.00pm. This meant we could leave all our luggage with our sons while we returned the car. The hotel is very close to Termini station and we walked to the Colosseum and the Trevi fountain quite easily. There was good wi-fi available free in the rooms. The parking for the car is not at the hotel, it is just around the corner in a separate parking lot. It cost 35 euro for 24 hours and they park the car for you. They only take cash. It looked like it was a little dodgy but it all worked out perfectly for us.

Rooms are clear. The location was in a very able to start your tour of the city. The staff was not courteous, Breakfast was moderate. Pretty much the staff was of another origin.

Excellent location - 5 min from Termini station and 15 mins walking distance to the Colosseum. Rooms are clean, big bathroom, nice interior.

The room is comfortable, location is good. Room facilities is not enough even there's no hot water, we have to pickup downstair at the restaurant and the staff with a bad face.

The location of the hotel was excellent, we managed to visit most of Rome sites going on foot. It is also near termini station, which was a big plus, if you use public transportation to get from airport to Rome. The room that we stayed in was modern and clean, very comfortable bed, nice balcony. They also serve normal breakfast. Wifi requires a new password every day, which is not very nice, as you have to leave the room first, to get internet connection in the morning. Also I got no connection at all one night, but I can't say for sure if this was one time thing, or the internet is always turned off at night.
