Very friendly staff and good location (3 minutes wal from Castro Pretorio subway station and 10 minutes walk to a main train/subway station -Termini). Good and clean room. It was under construction, thus... some facilities were not available (as restaurant, lobby, etc..) |

It was nice and quiet and the continental breakfast was excellent 1. At least one more electrical outlet is needed for guests to plug in their batteries etc. for recharging. (2) There should be one box of facial tissue in the room. |

Staff very friendly and cleanliness of hotel was good. Original room allocated was not upto standard but when we complained we were allocated better room Not advised in advance of refurbishment which meant no bar or restaurant in the hotel even though these were advertised. However alternative breakfast venue was acceptable |

The staff were all very helpful and the rooms were thoroughly cleaned every day and unlike some hotels this continued right through to the end of our stay. The works going on did cause some inconvenience i.e. no internal dining room or bar and the air conditioning did not work very well in our rooms on the 6th floor. |

The rooms were clean if a little "worn". Good location for the train station. The hotel is shown as 4 star on Bookings website, however all the toiletries, stationery, brochures of the hotel proclaim it 3 star.......we are most unhappy about this |

Staff were efficient. Breakfast (included in price)at Cafe across the road was superb. Bathroom clean. Fridge a great bonus. Close to Rail and Metro stations. As the hotel was being renovated the reception area was not welcoming, the walls in our room were dirty, replastered and not repainted and the workmen started banging at 7am. Smallest room on the trip. Not value for money. Bed not remade, sheets just pulled up and the quilt was very dirty and soiled. We stayed at much friendlier and luxurious hotels in Venice, Paris and Florence for a cheaper price. Not value for money. |

The hotel was in a good location. Easy to walk to from the main train station (Termini), with a metro station also close by. We walked to all the major sites from the hotel with the exception of the Vatican which is over the other side of the river so we used the metro on that occasion. We found the metro to be reasonably priced and very frequent. There were a number of nice and reasonably priced restaurants around the hotel so there was no need to go into the main tourist areas in the evening. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. There were renovations taking place during our stay but it didnt really bother us. We had a great time in Rome and I would definitely use this hotel again. A very minor point. The airconditioning was too cold so we either had to turn it off or put up with the cold. Other than that, no complaints. Good value hotel in a good location. |

Excellent location. Near Termini station. You can walk or take the metro. Breakfast was very good, with many options. Room was small, but clean and quiet. We were satisfied with the hotel. |

Family size room was great. Reception staff were not as pleasant and helpful as in other hotels and waiting 2 hours for tea making facilities to be brought to room, then having the tea making facilities removed each day and having to chase them again, made me reluctant to stay there again. |

Our room at 6th floor had a wonderful terrace, a big difference compared to our first room at 2nd floor. The rooms vary a lot. Both rooms we had were small, but the first one at 2nd floor had window to inside of the quarter and the room was very dark. After the second complain we got a wonderful room at 6th floor. A construction work was going on at ground floor and there were no bar no lobby and the breakfast was served on a restaurant across the street. The restaurant did not have enough staff to take care of all breakfast visitors. It was not at all nice to wait a clean table and to wait bread etc. One of the reason why we chose this hotel was the internet connections. They did not work properly. We tried 3 times to order 24 hrs connection, but it worked only once. Two other times it was interrupted after a few hours. One day the internet was down completely. It is more than 50 meters to the Metro station, more like 200 meters, but the closest bus stops are some 50 meters away. |

The location of the Hotel was perfect for our stay, close to the Termini and the sites of Rome. Even in regard to the comments below, we would probably stay her again, but ensure we were more choosy about the room location !!!. We were not advised of the fact that there was extensive renovation work being undertaken, which meant that not only was there added noise very early in the morning, but also that breakfast had to be taken in a small restaurant across the street !. In regard to the room, we were expecting 'compact' but not minute and had a struggle to get passed the end of the bed without climbing over the bed !! Additionally the bed was so hard, we would have been better sleeping on the floor and their was a leak in the bathroom making it smell very unpleasant. We did have high hopes as my sister in law had stayed in June and had an altogether more pleasant stay !. |
