Best Western Hotel Villafranca

The room is very nice and clean, the location is perfect

If the receptionist and the waiter can be a little bit warmer

Breakfast (served in restaurant across the road due to renovations at the hotel) was superb. Very convenient location: about 5 min walk to Termini Train Station and 3 min to Metro.

I would not rate it 4 stars. Compared to the quality and services of the hotel we stayed at in Sorrento for £20 less per night, Villafranca is overpriced.

Room was very comfortable and clean-really useful having fridge. Staff were very helpful and bought up complimentary tea and coffee+ kettle on request. Breakfast was very good-alot of choice. We were able to leave our luggage on last day which was great. Around the corner there is a very good restaurant-good food at good prices. Not far to Metro which is extremely good value-1e per trip anywhere -very busy though

The location was close to all tours and buses. Only walking distance to the metro.

The staff were friendly, however we chose this hotel due to its facilities it offered and advertised. When we arrived they were undergoing rennovations, there was no hotel reception, just a cluttered front entrance no bar or restaurant. The restaurant for breakfast was being given on the otherside of the road in a small business. This was very busy and seemed unprepared for all the guests

Great breakfast included at the restaurant across the street. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Renovations are being done, which are needed. Our room was dated and could use a face lift. However, our parent's room had been modernized and was nice. The beds and pillows in both rooms were too hard.

The room was large, bathroom was wonderful especially since I am American and always heard about small rooms and bathrooms in Europe.

Staff very friendly and cleanliness of hotel was good. Original room allocated was not upto standard but when we complained we were allocated better room

Not advised in advance of refurbishment which meant no bar or restaurant in the hotel even though these were advertised. However alternative breakfast venue was acceptable

hotel was on renewall, air condinioner was off we had tu use elevators with building workers, we had to use a restaurant in front of the hotel to have breakfast, there was no counter, reception was at manager office, and it was difficult to do check in

Staff were efficient. Breakfast (included in price)at Cafe across the road was superb. Bathroom clean. Fridge a great bonus. Close to Rail and Metro stations.

As the hotel was being renovated the reception area was not welcoming, the walls in our room were dirty, replastered and not repainted and the workmen started banging at 7am. Smallest room on the trip. Not value for money. Bed not remade, sheets just pulled up and the quilt was very dirty and soiled. We stayed at much friendlier and luxurious hotels in Venice, Paris and Florence for a cheaper price. Not value for money.
