Clean room, friendly staff, very good location for everyday trips to Venice. Good breakfasts. There is nice small bistro right in the hotel. Hotel has its own parking, costs 10 EUR / day, which in comparison to Venice is very reasonable price. There is nothing to complain. Maybe it is a little bit difficult to get to the hotel these days, there is lot of construction activities in Mestre (we got lost even when using satnav).

The hotel was very clean and in an excellent location for us! We also really enjoyed the breakfasts. The only thing I didn't like was the noise. The walls were very thin and you could hear everyone in the hallway walking. It also didn't help that we were one room away from the stairs and elevator.

Location good for commute to Venice, but as usual the railway station is hardly the nicest part of town. All good the only niggle is the very poor sound on the tv.

The location was absolutely perfect for us as we were travelling through Italy by rail and the hotel was across the road from the station plus to all other services to Venice as well. Some good Restaurants close by,excellent cheap Asian one just up the road if you have had your fill of pasta/pizza. Squeaky bed. Creaked and groaned all night.

We were very pleased with the service and the professionalism that we experienced at the Bar/Restaurant of the Hotel. We normally choose Michelin star restaurants when we go abroad. However the service we received from Moreno and Moris was excellent and during our stay at the Hotel we ate at the bar every night. Thank you again ...

The hotel staff were great, they even helped us out on our first day upon arrival as our checked bags didn't make it. They supplied us with toiletries and kept abreast with our baggage situation. The daily breakfast was great, great selection, fresh fruit. The rooms were amazing, big, clean, modern looking. The staff were very friendly when asking questions and even gave a lot of great tips and suggestions. If anyone is planning on staying at this hotel, I highly recommend it. I'd go back again.

A good place to stay when visiting Venice, where hotels can be very expensive and often of mediocre quality. The Best Western Bologna has very nicely appointed rooms. The breakfast buffet is good. Parking is convenient in the hotel's lot. And it only takes 10 minutes to go by train to Venice; trains run every 7-10 minutes.

The room was completely updated and very comfortable. The hotel was conveniently located from Venice. We did not want to deal with dragging luggage in and out of boats and over bridges. It was undergoing lobby renovations, but that didn't bother us. The complementary hot and cold breakfast buffet was excellent quality. The instructions on how to find the shuttle bus to the airport could have been better. It is difficult for me to understand "100 meters down the street". But that is my fault.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our visit to Venicia Italy. I found the reception area to lack a freindly feel when first entering. The foyer is sterile and lacks colour. The hotel stairways lack handrails. It is important for safety reasons to use handrails when climbing or descending stairs. How to use the room card for activating the lighting and setting the climate control levles was not explained and a visit to the front desk for assistance was necessary. The pillow height was too high for me and gave me a stiff neck.

I was really put off by the reception staff who served me upon check in.I Was highly recommended to book this hotel by a friend n the reviews from booking.com too. I made the non refundable reservation through booking.com. I was unable to cancel or shorten my stay at all. Not only she was unfriendly but she was not very helpful too. I had to ask her for a map n check with her on how to get around Venice as this is my first time here and visiting Italy too. All she did was draw 1 circle on the map showing me where am I!!! Gosh! Her other colleague who was checking in a guest was really enthusiastic n provided information even without the guest asking. I was left standing clueless to wait for my room; I was in about 1145am n yes I am fully aware that the check in time is at 2pm. I am fine to come back or at least tell me where should I wait till I had to ask her. The other reception staff made an effort to rush the room for her guest. The staff just ask me to wait at the bar n well the room might take an hour or more to get ready!! We were also not informed upon check in or any hotel letter was placed in our room to inform us that there are upgrading works currently taking place and the best part is I was told by the reception staff only when we return from our sight seeing in the evening and noticed that there is no air con. When I called them, only then I was informed that the hotel air conditioning is down till may!!! Although its cold outside but the room is stuffy for sure. I had to zzz with my windows open throughout my entire 4 days stay there! Imagine how was it possible for one to sleep with the noise outside?! Upon check out again, the staff who served me did not ask me did not care to ask how was my stay nor wish us a safe journey. Seriously the staff are extremely arrogant and aloof!! The stay here had totally ruined my impression of Venice and did not enjoy my stay at all.

This is a great hotel with friendly staff, all speak English. We paid the extra and had a superior room and is was excellent in very respect. The food at the small bistro is exceptional and reasonably priced and so is the wine. They treated us like royalty and all the staff is very helpful and the location in front of the train station, one stop to Venice, is a bonus. Buy your railway tickets from the receptionist so you don't queue at the train station. This hotel is on a busy corner in front of the train station, however the rooms all have double glazing and unless you want the windows open will not affect your stay
