Best Western City Hotel  

Location is fabulous for visiting central Genoa. Good bar called Mua next door for cocktail and buffet at 9 euro. Not to be missed but book in advance if eating before 9.

Hotel personnel uncooperative, especially breakfast staff. Breakfast unimaginative and poor quality for 4 star hotel. Building work on ground floor during our stay, which meant walking to the first floor to get the lift. We were not informed of the disruption beforehand.

The quality of the room was good and confortable.

The reception said restaurants in the area were closed on Sunday and recommended something that was far and not really good. Later in the evening in the old city we saw many nicer restaurants that were in fact open and very close to the hotel. We were disappointed that we did not receive the room with the bunkbeds as in the picture for our small children. The "Feeling" room seemed like a triple with an extra bed added next to space where the wall had a nook for another piece of furniture. Our son fell into this space during the night.

Room is very clean,staff is gentil,near to center.

Hotel don t look like in picture,in the hall workers make paint the wall,lift is so small ,for 2 people,garage to expensive,

I liked it, except it was on a small square. The resturant was noisy. Loud music, loud people. I came there to rest, it was hard, to bad everything else was good.

Friendly staff,clean room,desent facilities,located on a quiet alley in the heart of the historical center (just few steps from piazza Da Ferrari),with easy access to the old harbour and its attractions (10 minutes walk).

Rather expensive rates for parking (25 euro per day),small lift which was usually busy,free wi fi but with poor signal on the fourth floor (so i had to go down to the lobbby everytime i needed internet access).

Hotel is located in a beautiful neighborhood near the old town. The rooms are very clean and well decorated. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Very decent hotel. Great value for the money.

Parking is 24 Euro for the night but the local parking lots are about the same price.

Very nice rooms and well organised for people travelling with children. Excellent location and good staff.

La posizione ottima, proprio al centro della citta' e comunque facilmente raggiungibile anche con la propria auto che puo' essere parcheggiata nel garage dell'hotel.

Un po' caro la tariffa giornaliera del garage.

La posizione centrale.

Risparmio energetico carente in camera. TV in stand by tutta la notte; orologi digitali troppo luminosi e inutili.

Il primo piano è da ristrutturare. Le camere sono molto vecchie rispetto a quelle dei piani superiori.

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia nella 222 e si e' rivelata funzionale e fornita di tutto: dal bollitore con scelta di the' e caffe' alla radio- sveglia incorporata in una lampada da comodino; da un eccellente phon alla fornitura dei prodotti da bagno; dall'ampiezza del letto matrimoniale al tappetino per fare ginnastica. Tutto nuovissimo.

La colazione: pane secco, vecchio. Poca scelta. La stessa sala e' piccola.

La posizione ottima, l'ampiezza della camera e la sua comodità. In dotazione c'è tutto ciò che può servire, compresa crema da corpo

Ascensore molto piccolo: in due con due valige si riesce a stare a malapena. Inoltre l'impossibilità di spegnere completamente la televisione che rimane in stand by per tutta la notte

Posizionato in pieno centro, a due passi dalla piazza principale e a circa 15 min a piedi dal porto; camere (almeno la nostra) ristrutturate di recente; colazione nella media

Le parti non ancora ristrutturate sono piuttosto vecchie tipo ascensore e infissi delle camere, la hall è in fase di ristrutturazione ma la cosa non ci ha creato nessun disagio
