Best Western Hotel La Solara  

Pleasant hotelstaff, clean nice pool area and in general the atmosphere was relaxed. Shuttle service to Sorrento worked well.

Delightful location with very friendly, professional staff. Food was excellent, as was the accommodation.

The staff did it's best to assist, gave us very helpful advice.Changed our room upon request.Very friendly and helpfull people.We enjoyed every minute in the hotel.

La Solara was a good hotel near Sorrento. The rooms were fine although they stuck us in a room at the far back with a view of the pool. We would much rather have had a view of the Amalfi Coast. The pool was quite nice and there was a buffet breakfast but the food was not nearly as fresh as in other hotels in Italy. They provided a shuttle bus in to town which ran every hour and brought guests back to the hotel from a designated meeting place.

The hotel was fine. It needs a little sprucing up. The rooms were old and tired looking. It would have been better if the shuttle bus ran every half hour and provided a more frequent service. The breakfast was also just O.K.

Hourly bus shuttle to and from town was convenient but 100% necessary given the hotel's cliff top location. Nice sized, comfortable rooms and the complimentary bottle of wine was a nice surprise as were the easter eggs at breakfast. Inviting pool area.

It was not explained to us that the keycard for the room had to be inserted into a wall slot inside the hotel room in order for the tv and lights to work. The aircon in the room didn't function but the weather was cool so no real issue. No dedicated bar or pub area. Very difficult to get back to the hotel after the last shuttle bus at 11:15pm should you choose to have a late night on the town. Taxi quotes were exorbitant, luckily a local gave us a lift!

хороший отель - и обслуживание и качество еды, проживающие - в основном англичане пенсионного возраста, удобный шаттл-бас до центра города, а при желании можно прогуляться до береговых бухт, правда, по автомобильной дороге без зоны для пешеходов с оживленным движением. но мы с ребенком остались довольны:)

Las instalaciones son impecables, muy cómodas y el lugar es muy tranquilo. El tamaño de la habitación y del baño muy bueno, muy espaciosos. El personal es muy agradable, muy predispuesto para ayudarte en todo lo que necesites. Si bien está un poco lejos del centro no nos ha importado puesto q estabamos en auto y tiene parking gratuito, si no estás en auto, tienen un shuttle que va a Sorrento a cada rato. El desayuno es muy bueno también. La habitacion tenia un balcon muy lindo con vista a la pisicina y a la montaña.

Es preferible hacer las excursiones para ir a los alrededores (Capri, Amalfi, Positano) por cuenta tuya, preguntando en el hotel, porque sino ellos te ofrecen unos tours que son muy caros. El sistema de wi fi es un tanto incómodo, tienes que poner una clave cada vez que necesitas acceder, pero de todos modos te podias conectar bien.

Excelente el desayuno y la comida. Espacios muy amplios. Calidez de todo el personal. Shuttle al centro.

Staff were wonderful. It was exceptionally clean. Food was very good. Good location.

Pool-side bar food overpriced. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room even though this is specified on the web-site.

Lovely peaceful location a few miles out of Sorrento but with excellent free hourly shuttle bus service from 8am to 11pm. Highly efficient, warm and friendly staff in all areas of hotel - pool, restaurant, bar, cleaning staff and reception - nothing is too much trouble. Definitely a four star hotel, beautiful views, customers are mostly returners for many years and the place has a true family atmosphere - faultless - book now and you won't be disappointed!
