Location was not good at all very far from main points and you need to go either by bus or by taxi if you want to get anywhere. There was no place around hotel if you wanna go at night. We didn't like not value for money at all!!! It was a very old hotel with almost not any facility especially in the room!!! when we asked for a plate they said we don't provide it in the room and after i said any other 4 star hotel they have at least 2 glasses, 2 cups and a water boiler they simply said we don't!!! some of the hotel staff tried to be helpful but some of them ridiculously rude and impolite. we had a 500 euro bill and we needed to change it into smaller bills so we asked our hotel reception they said they don't have 500 euro!!!!!!!! this hotel is not a 4 star hotel I would say at the best situation it is 3 star!! 1

Some of the staff were exceptionally helpful. We have stayed at this hotel some 2 years ago, and noticed a big difference, especially upon arrival, I was with arm in brace, and noone opened the door, or attempted to help me with my luggage, and once told our room number no-one escorted us with the luggage to our room. The foyer looked decidedly empty of statues which used to be there. I learned during my stay that management had recently changed hands, and staff were feeling insecure. Also the guests being targetted seemed to be more of the coach/budget 'group booking' variety, this wasn't evedent in the past. It could improve by using the roof of the entrance as an outside umbrellered outdoor setting lounge area with bar facilities, or if there was a possibility of creating a roof top garden - maybe with restaurant facilities - no doubt the view would be good, and this would also be an added attraction. I did mention this idea to the barman.

Nice big and comfortable bed. Very clean room. Good location close to the metro bus route and only about 20 minutes from the Colloseum. The room was quite warm with no way of making it cooler that we identified. Shower cubicle was quite small and therefore awkward to use. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast below par for a 4-star hotel.

As a special offer of the day, it worthed its price (50% off). But for the normal price I would never go there. We ordered transfer to the airport, but nobody came to pick us up:( At the reception nobody cared about this! Breakfast was the same every day... We had to change room because something went wrong with the heating and there was a big smoke in our room when we went back after a tyring day. All our clothes smelled terribly smoky after it..

We were staying in this hotel for 2 nights, our room was really nice and comfortable, big and light. We enjoyed bathroom a lot, it was very clean and had everything we needed. Bed is huge and comfortable to sleep. Near by is villas including Villa de Borgese. Hotel has own parking , but u should reserve place in advance. U should keep in mind that hotel is pretty far from the city center and train station, aprox. 15-20 min walking to the Piazza di Spagna and the area is not that light at night. Breakfast is very poor for 4 stars hotel.

Untrained unfriendly staff, no room service, kitchen closes 11pm. It is more on the lower end of 3hotel in lieu of the 4 star advertised.

The room & bathroom was spacious, clean & well furnished. There was a safe as well as a mini bar available. Breakfast was good, not a big variety but the brioche (croissants) were to die for. The rooms were well heated, in fact overheated but you could open a window. Upon arrival to Rome, it was difficult for me to find the hotel as it was not accessible by metro or bus as it was far from Metro stations. The fact that it was Dec. 26Th & all shops were closed, no ones on the streets to stop & ask & no taxis to stop on the streets made it a bit frustrating.

Relativly close to the important sites in Rome (there is a bus ~5min walk from the hotel, the Metro is far though) Really high and unjustified costs for WiFi Internt! Especially when in almost every bar or cafeteria they are offering it for free!

We had very comfortable rooms on the 2nd floor. Great stuff! A little bit far from centre or the nearest metro station. But as close to hotel is Villa Borgia park - it is good footwalk to the heart of Rome. Quite simple breakfest.
