Hotel Bigallo  

Very well located, right at the Duomo in Florence. Rooms are clean and staff was very helpful. It has an elevator. The hotel facade was being redone but it did not bother us at all, there was no noise and no dust.

Due to not finished refurbishment in hotel Bigallo we have been moved in their sister hotel de Lanzi. Information was just sent by email when we were already on our way to the hotel. So it occurred inconveniences. It was hard to find a place to park a car near the hotel. Breakfast was poor.

Poor breakfast, paid internet

The hotel is located literally a stone's throw from the Duomo in Florence. The hotel is wonderful, clean, well operated and as centrally located as one could hope for. They offer a nice breakfast. Windows from the hotel sitting room literally open to a direct view of the Duomo. Parking is available, if you telelphone in advance and arrange to have someone take your car and move it to an off-site parking location. The area is very safe and easy walking distance to almost all historic sites and many restaurants and lots of shops.

The hotel is located on a street that is about 20 feet long, and local residents don't even know the name of it. It is literally an alley off a main street leading to the Duomo. The entrance is dishearteningly nondescript, but you take an elevator to the third floor and enter the hotel proper, which is wonderful. This is an exceptional value for the dollar. Each morning you awaken to hear the bells of the Duomo.

Hotel accogliente, dal design molto caratteristico. Quando si entra sembra di entrare in una casa, piuttosto che in un albergo, sia per l'accoglienza sia per il calore delle stanze. Lo consiglio a chiunque voglia trascorrere un soggiorno nella bellissima Firenze, da non trascurare inoltre, l'ottima posizione: proprio nei pressi del duomo.

Ottima posizione dell'albergo, direttamente in centro città, a due passi dal campanile di Giotto, ottimo per raggiungere facilmente tutte I luoghi storici di Firenze. Great position, in the middle of the most historical part of the city, really next to the Giotto's Bell Tower and very near to all the museums and other beautiful part of the city. Perfect to visit the centre.

Le pareti delle camere sono di cartongesso, cosa che può essere imbarazzante perchè si sente realmente tutto ciò che accade in corridoio...la nostra stanza era fredda ma dotata di climatizzatore elettrico...poco pratico il sistema elettrico, l'elettricità si attiva quando si inserisce la chiave in un quadro elettrico sul muro d'ingresso, rimuovendola la corrente va via...e dunque anche il climatizzatore...e cmq è alto il rischio di fare cadere la chiave per sbaglio e lasciare la gente al buio nella stanza.. The walls are really thin, you can hear people walking in the corridors and even in the other rooms...our room was cold but with an electric heater but the electric system is not so practical...it works until you not remove the key of the room from the power panel in the wall but...the key can fall easily and leave everyone in the dark...

Posizione (ubicato proprio su Piazza del Duomo), ambiente silenzioso.

Nada- tardé 2 hs. En encontrarlo, pregunté en otros 3 hoteles y no lo conocían. Si bien está ubicado a media cuadra del duomo. Está en plena zona peatonal lo que dificulta sobremanera el acceso con auto (mi caso) y limita su uso durante ña estadía. No llega a ser un 3 estrellas y tiene precio de 4 (el hotel que contrate en el Lido de Venecia me costó casi lo mismo)

Non per colpa dell'hotel ma la vicinanza al Duomo provoca una sveglia precoce, al mattino, a causa delle campane piuttosto insistenti.

Inmejorable ubicación a media cuadra del Duomo de Firenze y cerca de todos los lugares turísticos que se alcanzan caminando fácilmente. Habitaciones cómodas, sencillas, baño con bañera y amplio. Buen desayuno, te hacías café en una máquina tipo expendedora y era riquísimo. Los empleados super-atentos y bien presidpuestos.

La dueña del hotel no era muy simpática. A la noche se escuchaba mucho el ruido de la gente pasando por la calle, pero tambien hay que considerar que era fin de semana de Pascua y había una multitud.

Wunderschöne Romantische Zimmer... in älterem stil eingerichtet... Das Peronal ist sehr zuvorkommend und Freundlich... der Aufenthalt war sehr Angenehm....
