It was a decent location, safe and quiet
Wasn't as close to the airport as I thought. There wasn't much to see or do in the vicinity. Only a few restaurants within walking.
We booked triple rooms for several families, but got double rooms where didn't fit in extra bed... The city tax is 3.5 euros not 2 euros as it was said on booking site... In some rooms were not WC paper... So bad we didn't live anywhere...
spotlessly clean place in a quiet newbourhood near the airport of Ciampino at a reasonable price
the shower had alternatingly hot and cold water and we lacked blankets for our bed (outside it was almost freezing).
There is no staff. A self service check-in and checkout. If you have Any problem there is none. The service (by phone) last only few hours and there is no service on sunday.
very good experience. nice people to the reception, clean bathroom.
Really nice stay. good wi-fi, clean and comfortable room.
wi-fi, clean and nice room
Muy buena la hospitalidad y la limpieza!
We loved this place. Clean and comfortable room, helpful and nice staff, I appreciated everything!
near the bus station
the A.C was broken, the hair dryer was broken, the room is too small, the bathroom was not so clean
Generally it was ok,but not for a long stay. Location is good .Smart door codes .No wi-fi in the room (1-st floor), for me it is an advantage. The room was as in the picrutes
The room was not clean enough. We Met the receptionist only once ,at the check in. The city tax is 3.5 euros not 2 euros as it was said on booking site. It's not a big deal.
Bijou is quite close to the airport,(i.e. 5 mins away) but we were charged 28 euros to get to Ciampino!! The shower tray in the bathroom was full of water when we arrived and there was something disgusting floating in the water. There wasn't a receptionist at the property and when I rang the given number the person at the other end said that they were from a different hotel, and could not help me. So I rang Booking.com who said that they would ring the Bijou and then call me back - I am still waiting for the call back!!! So after a hot sweaty journey we were unable to have a shower. Never again.
Very dirty, went to get in bed to having dirt in it because the floors were so dirty, shower water went from warm to ice cold back to warm several times during a shower, showers were so small I had to leave shower doors open just to shave, ran out of toilet paper with none insight, the rooms we were in was also the office so lots of in and out and noise. Staff speaks no English so communication was lacking. Tried to call several times to set up shuttle and was first told to call ourselves so we did and were told what was in the brochure that the receptionist was to call. Called hotel on day 2 for another shuttle and was told to call back at 4. Called at 4 no answer so had to email hotel. I do not recommended this hotel to anyone!! When our "shuttle" did arive it was a man in a private car that was tiny, we told them it was for 6 people and that's what they sent. Needless to say driver had to make 2 trips and charged us 50€ to go to the hotel....
There is a DVD player in the room. Unnecessary.
The location is a room in an apartment in a block of flats. We arrived at 20,30 (half an hour late) The check in is very (very) digital. To get to the room you must pass through 3 doors with coded access. Obviously there was no living person there. We tried to find the code by calling at the intercom. After two attempts because we didn't understand exactly the code, the intercom was definitively hung up. We tried to call the phone number provided by booking.com: a pissed lady told us only: "Tomorow" and hung up the phone. Fine ! The perspective was to spend the night with two little kids in our rented car (a little Panda). Luckily, a neighbor, absolutely alien, had mercy on us by introducing the access codes and after the third coded door, our room key awaited us on a table. We stayed two days but no one from Bijou appears. The bathroom has no ventilation and the smell and dampness are unbearable. We made pictures if anyone is interested. The internet pictures about the room are from another Bijou. From other country maybe. In conclusion: a stinking and rising damp bijou...SABENA (Such A Bad Experience Never Again !)
nothing, I didn't even live in there.
It's so far from the airport, we spent 25 euro for taxi from airport to there before 8pm, but there's no one answer the door bell. Taxi driver even helped us to call the phone number written outside the house, he called 2 different number for 3 time, still no one picked up the phone. And we rang the door bell again and again, still no one answer us. We had to turned back to airport and slept in airport in the end. Such ridiculous!! We just wasted our money in taxi for nothing.
Proximity to the airport.
Advertisement said there was WIFI and there was none. Difficult to put into words, but do not recommend.
It was near public transportation that made easy access to Rome city center.
We stayed here for one night because are flight can in late and that it would be easier to stay close to the airport and travel to Rome after a good night sleep. List of dislikes: 25 euros for their airport transfer in a beat up hatchback car that belonged to a random hired worker that could only transport 4 when I notified the staff at we are a family of five with small children. Breakfast is really vouchers from a local bar down the street. Dirty!!!!! Filthy! Room that looked nothing like the photos. Wifi was out of service, had to go up stairs and sit outside of the reception area on common area stairs because staff are not present until 3pm. Do not stay here if you have other options and can afford it!
The hotel rate is value for your money
The location is far from the city.
Clean and comfortable apartment, really good location, safe and relax neighborhood, with only 9,00 euro per day you can have the kitchen. Nice stay!
