Everything. A very big thank you to Marco for all of his help!
Perfect location, 10 minutes of a beautiful walk through Florence to the tourist attractions of the city and only 15 minutes walking to the train station. The staff are extremely helpful, with maps and tips and we even got a voucher for a free breakfast that was delicious. The Guest House has a variety of dishes and glasses to borrow so we could enjoy a bottle of wine on a piazza :-) The staff was very attentive to our room request and we really liked the flexible check in time. We highly recommend the Blu Notte Guesthouse!
Unfortunately, there was unbearable hammering and construction noise in the morning starting around 8am, which made it impossible to sleep quietly from then on. It stopped after one hour, probably when the staff was arriving at the Guest House. They ensured us this was very unlucky and usually doesn't happen, so we hope for future guests they do not have to experience that noise.
We reached Florence after 7pm and the staff specially waited for us even though he has knocked off from his work, clean and comfortable room. Nice biscuit as well.
Very lovely staff and people!! Room was simple, basic and clean. Perfect for my short stay. Very excellent location in the Sant'Ambrogio/Santa Croce area. I recommend it highly!
Excelent location, close to all famous buildings in the city, wonderful staff, comfortable, clean, you have everything you need for your trip. There is a kitchen in the reception room, where you can sit and relax even in the evening, free tea and biscuits all day long. And also tasty coffee in the mornings. Absolutely recommended.
There is house cleaning service only every two days. There is only two small bags of shampo but no shower gel in three nights...
The large suite, staff, bed and linens were very comforting, located in a nice residential building, surrounded by great, quiet streets yet in the heart still.
Not much of a lobby since it is a BnB, but this is still a great stay!
Short walk to all the attractions, Good size room , clean and comfortable, good value for money
Perfect Location, very nice Staff, comfort room
The location was perfect, easily walkable to all tourist destinations but in an area with a little more local flavor, not in a high-traffic tourist. The rooms were clean and comfortable with nice bathrooms. Complementary coffee and cookies were nice. Staff was helpful.
The common areas were a little hostel-like for the money. The reception desk is generally only staffed until mid-afternoon.
The staff was very helpful, especially Nataliya! They recommended a great place for dinner and the breakfast was fantastic at Firentessa (sp?). Overall, a fantastic value for the money!
Very clean rooms. Friendly staff. Great location.
Blue Notte is a very convenient B&B in Florence. Everything is walking distance - about 25 minute max everywhere including the train station. The rooms has the necessary things: air conditioning, private bathroom, TV, mini-fridge. Breakfast consists in coffee or tea, and biscuits, but you could buy anything in the huge supermarket just across the street. Despite there is a kitchen and a communal dining room, it is not allowed to cook and/or use them for nothing else but breakfast -which might be a plus-. Reception works during the morning so you must check in and out during those hours or make arrangements if not possible. I recommend this place and I would come back again.
marco is a very nice guy.
Georgraphically convenient, very nice and helpful owner, clean. Great stay.
The room is a bit modest, in the pictures looks better than in the reality. Realatively pricy compared to the value.
Friendly, helpful staff assisted with making reservations for museums. Clean, secure, quiet.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, shared kitchen and coffee was handy
Both my partner and I woke up both mornings with a substantial amount of bites (bed bugs/fleas). I tried to contact management but heard nothing back, hopefully this issue has been addressed.
Amazing location. Wonderful hosts. Great coffee in the morning.
No hot water some mornings - not sure why. Otherwise perfect.
Location and cleanliness.
I loved the location, easy to walk everywhere and supermarket practically at door step. I loved that it's inside an old building and you get a front door key, felt like a proper local. Great seating area with kettle and utensils for a morning coffee or cuppa at night.
Reception only there during working hours so you do have to let them time of arrival beforehand and if you are delayed for any reason and not have a phone that works abroad then you are in a bit of a pickle.
the location is terrific with easy walks to all the sights we were visiting. The bus from the station at S M Novella stops just round the corner and is very convenient for arrival at and departure from Florence. We were made very welcome by the staff and the accommodation is just a 5 stairs up from the pavement entrance level so very easy to get to our room with baggage. The accommodation was very good and our room spacious and double glazed so not too noisy given the very central location. having the shared kitchen facility was very useful for tea and coffee at any time of the day/night. Our bed had an exceptionally comfortable mattress which was very welcome after our long sightseeing walks during the days. In response to our enquiry, we were directed to a nearby restaurant which catered for coeliacs and which offered excellent gluten free pastas and other dishes so my husband had no problems with his meals (this can be a major problem for him on our travels).
I can't think of anything negative on which to comment.
Close to major tourist sites, tram and city bus.
It will be quite a walk from termini station especially if your dragging your luggage.
very clean & spacy
a little sweat ? because of 1 floor
Good B&B very well located, with spacious and clean room. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
Could be better preserved (some walls was kind of peeling off). Anyway, the positive points make it worth!
We were in contact with the staff from the hotel previous to our arrival and sorted the arrival time (as they need advance notice if you arrive later than 7pm). The room was clean, we had a small fridge, extra pillows, and an extra blanket. There was a coffee machine in the reception (that gets turn off at 10 am or something like that), with cookies and tea all day. There is a supermarket, literally across the street and the duomo (main church square) was about 10 min walk from the hotel. We needed to book a cab to get to a reservation in a restaurant and reception did the booking for us. We were also provided with maps upon arrival of the city and the location of a nearby wash and dry laundrymat (which was 4 euros for washing and 4 for drying each of the respective cycles were half an hour). We are planning on going back to Florence and foresee staying here again.
Check out is at 10:30 am, I just wish it was at 12pm as it is usually in other places. Apart from this, there is nothing bad about the place.
