Cute little guest house conveniently located to restaurants, grocery store, and sightseeing. Also walking distance to numerous shops. Very clean and comfortable. Large room.
Very difficult to find as there is no signage on or around the door. Street numbers don't run consecutively so i had to stop at a tailor shop to find out where it was. The only indicator of the place was on the door buzzer.
loved the decor of the room - the 'night light' was delightful. the room was larger than i had come to expect in europe. everything is within walking distance of the b&b. there is only coffee, tea, and cookies provided but they are available 24 hours and there are plenty of places for breakfast closeby. i would definitely stay here again - a wonderful welcoming enchanting place.
the only downside for me (and this is in part due to my horrible sense of direction) was finding the hotel after going for a walk - i found myself a bit turned around and was having trouble locating the street due to how the streets intersect.
It is a very nice b&b, great location, nice facilities, very clean. We actually stayed one night more. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. We were vey happy to make the right choice.
Location is almost perfect - 5 minutes walk from Santa Croce. Owners friendly and helpful. You get the keys, which makes you free to plan your time. Shared kitchenette is also handy.
The room has everything in place, but not 100% conveniently designed - bed a bit too small for king-size fellows like me, outlets located inconveniently, etc. Nothing to really complain about, though.
great location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable
Great location but got around easily .
Took us awhile to find this place.
Conveniently located in the centre, 5 minutes from the Duomo. Limited service (reception opened a few hours per day) but very friendly staff. The room was large, renovated and comfortable.
-Very very friendly and helpful staff ( Natalia so cute :-)) -accomodation was cozy and very clean! -there are always water, coffee, cakes available for guests
a very good locality near, in easily done walking distance of Il Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Santa Croce... near bus stop, walkable distance (even with luggage from santa maria novella if that must be done; better take a bus). Marco, one of the staff (owner?) recommended great places for affordable and tasty eating out (Bordino near Ponte Vecchio ! Maremma, Via Verdi. and there is a very small quite good and very cheap place which he didnt mention and that is on Borgo degli Albizzi, beside a pizzeria run by a woman from Romania i think, also recommendable if you want save and eat and drink well and near the hotel) and gave other goood advice. regular cleaning of the room. not that much noise. air-conditioning. possible to make tea and coffee in the common kitchen. would recommend it. Room and bathroom were nice, bathroom could have had a rack for toiletries. only details missing. good value for this locality and quality.
great location . 7 min walking to Duomo and 15 min walk to trains station. very easy to find also by city bus C2 as the bus stop is around the corner. close to good and cheap restaurants (Via de Neri) and the best gelato in town (Marco Ottaviano Il Gelato Gourmet) is around the corner. the owner and the secretary are very friendly. no problem to leave the suitcases at the premises for a later check-out. the room was a good size for two people and it was clean. the cleaners made our bed every day. bed was very comfortable. no breakfast but you could make your own coffee and have some cookies in the morning. free maps and lots of Florence guides (and other cities) that you could check out for free. Also we could borrow umbrellas for the rain which was very convenient
the bathroom was a bit small but very clean. not enough toilet items (shampoo , gel etc) for two people. you could hear early morning people checking out or leave the building but usually people were respectfull
Apartment was in a good location. We were 2 hours late for booking in but still made welcome when we got there.
Location excellent, supermarket chemist and restaurants just across the road. Easy to get to city centre - just a few minutes walk!!
We would have liked tea and coffee facilities in our room rather than in the communal area! Otherwise everything was perfect! Thank you
very spacious rooms, very good location. Friendly staff.
15 min walk from train station 5 min walk to Piazza del Duomo Being a little off the tourist area allowed us to see a bit more of the "real" Florence, the streets that locals lived, ate, shopped. That was a nice experience.
Its convenient location A very friendly welcome A pleasant room Situated in a surprisingly quiet area
Its exterior is not impressive, but its location and helpful staff more than compensate.
Location was easy to get to from the train station. Close to the Duomo and museums. Staff was friendly, offered coffee and snacks while we waited for our room to be cleaned. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Wifi. Very charming place.
Really good B&B especially considering how reasonable the price was. Well located - 3 mins from the Duomo, 15 mins to Ponte Vecchio, Accademia or the train station. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was simple but clean and comfortable and was cleaned everyday. Well priced breakfast available at nearby café if you want. Complimentary tea/coffee and cookies available in the reception.
Nothing - we were very happy and it was great value for money.
Staff was great they all had an smille. Location was just outside sienna only 5 min drive in to town. Room was nice and clean and view was great.
The Pillows could do with a replacement very uncomfortable. If you need WiFi badly then don't bother to come to this place. But still this is a Nice place to stay.
Marco was extremely helpful during our stay there. He recommended restaurants that were in the vicinity of almost every tourist attraction as well as ones that were close to Blu Notte. His recommendations were amazing! He was also very accommodating. The location is about 20 mins away from the Santa Maria Novella Station, and about 10 minutes away from almost all the attractions (Uffizi, Academia...etc). There is also a supermarket across the street.
I liked most of Blu Notte, there were some things that may have bothered some guests, but I found it to be trivial. The wifi is a bit slow, which made skyping a bit difficult. Coffee machine is only available between 7-11 am. Breakfast isn't served at the B&B and is 3.50 euros extra. The walls aren't really sound proof so you might be able to hear other people talking.
The hotel is near the main touristic sites of Firenze, some good restaurants and it's in front of a small market. The room we staid was very comfortable and the staff is also nice.
The breakfast available only in a "subcontracted" restaurant 5min walk from the hotel is not a good option for those on business travel. The rooms are in the first floor of a residential building and their windows give directly to the street so they are quite noisy at night.
Everything. A very big thank you to Marco for all of his help!
Perfect location, 10 minutes of a beautiful walk through Florence to the tourist attractions of the city and only 15 minutes walking to the train station. The staff are extremely helpful, with maps and tips and we even got a voucher for a free breakfast that was delicious. The Guest House has a variety of dishes and glasses to borrow so we could enjoy a bottle of wine on a piazza :-) The staff was very attentive to our room request and we really liked the flexible check in time. We highly recommend the Blu Notte Guesthouse!
Unfortunately, there was unbearable hammering and construction noise in the morning starting around 8am, which made it impossible to sleep quietly from then on. It stopped after one hour, probably when the staff was arriving at the Guest House. They ensured us this was very unlucky and usually doesn't happen, so we hope for future guests they do not have to experience that noise.
We reached Florence after 7pm and the staff specially waited for us even though he has knocked off from his work, clean and comfortable room. Nice biscuit as well.
Very lovely staff and people!! Room was simple, basic and clean. Perfect for my short stay. Very excellent location in the Sant'Ambrogio/Santa Croce area. I recommend it highly!
Excelent location, close to all famous buildings in the city, wonderful staff, comfortable, clean, you have everything you need for your trip. There is a kitchen in the reception room, where you can sit and relax even in the evening, free tea and biscuits all day long. And also tasty coffee in the mornings. Absolutely recommended.
