Convenient and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Great idea being able to make a snack. Very clever to provide the Lavazza coffee maker. Will use hotel again and recommend it. Best wishes.
Alas, the shower leaked onto the floor. I couldn't mention it when I left early, because I'd no pen. Easily put right. The shower lacked soap - very inconvenient since there is only the floor on which put the soap or shower bottle
Clean Big bathrooms Free parking
At least 30minutes walk to city centre. Over priced for motel standard. The wifi crashed during our stay - the staff did help and check for us but still couldn't fix it.
5 min walk from airport Nice new hotel Spacious room (I took the Studio) Friendly people Free and fast Internet
My room was located at end of hall, poor WiFi signal. Used my cable to connect to the Internet
Parking was free. Price was fair. Room was clean.
Nothing to absorb the sound, people coming in late, when the door slammed it woke you up due to the echo. Very modern hotel, the kitchen was awkward and the stove did not work. It was hard to find, its in a odd spot need the hotel.
The hotel is an 8 minute walk from Pisa airport which makes it the perfect place to stay if on a late flight. The hotel is very new and exceptionally clean. There is no breakfast room, breakfasts are ordered the night before and delivered to your room at the time of your choice. There is also a small kitchenette incuding cooking hob within part of the wardrobe system.
If using the hotel to explore Pisa, it would be necessary to get a bus from the airport complex
Clean and comfortable. It is a new hotel with a modern design.
Excellent, friendly and clean. 5 minutes walk from Pisa airport. Would definitely use again.
clean new property
only close enough to the airport to walk if you don't have much luggage. hotel info says 300 meters to airport and the only way that could possibly be true is if they are measuring from the closest part of their property to the very edge of airport property. the actual distance from the front desk to the departure area is a full kilometer! no good restaurants within walking distance. my advice is to stay in a nicer section of town as you are most likely going to get a cab anyway
This hotel was 5 minutes walking distance from airport. On arrival the receptionist was very helpful and welcoming. the room was very clean and most importantly quiet. breakfast was served in the room Also not far from the railway station Definitely would stay again
We stayed at Blue Shades as a quick stop over in Pisa on our way to Florence. The location is great- right outside the airport, the staff welcoming and whilst breakfast is nothing spectacular, it was brought right to our door. Suited our travel needs perfectly.
we loved the closeness to the airport and also we could walk into town and explore Pisa. HIghly recommended - new hotel, great technology, very friendly owner. Dont be put off by the construction still going on around the hotel complex
the bed is slightly too firm for our taste but this has been our experience throughout all Italy
The Blue Shades is close to the airport, and is easy to walk to. The receptionist greeted us with good English and was very helpful. The room was clean and well presented. We stayed there for one night due to arriving on a late flight, we visited the Tower the next morning before travelling to Florence.
There could be more visible signage from the airport to the hotel.
Proximity to airport. Welcoming Concierge.
Although the room facilities are impressive we would have welcomed a guide as to how to use them, having arrived at a late hour, tired. The breakfast was not very impressive. The coffee was cold and some of the bead was rock hard.
Very close to the airport by car and just off the motorway. Could just about walk to the airport and the city centre. Ample parking. Friendly staff. Lovely, clean and modern room with cooking facilities and dining table. Eurospin supermarket a 5 minute walk away.
Breakfast is just bread and jam, so you really need to make your own in the room. The only restaurant in the area is a pizzeria, so you either need to cook, get a takeaway or go into the city centre.
The room was modern, with good facilities and we were looked after well by the hotel staff
Only a minor criticism but the layout of the room was a little odd. No problem really
Modern and clean
Poor airconditionning. Cannot be used as an apartment as said in the add. Missing plates ect.
We stayed there for a night because we had an eraly flight from Pisa. It's pretty close from the train station - 3 mins by a car and very close to the airport - 5 min by walking. Very spaciouc roomsm coffee machine, great bed.
Maybe noisy for some because it's close to the airport but we shut off the windows and the noise didn't disturb us.
Great location and easy to find, the hotel staff was very helpful. Lovely rooms
Would be nicer if there was a cafe or food/wine bar in the lobby area that is open late and early. buy food and drinks at the airport before going to the hotel.
No permanent Reception open
La cortesia del personale
This is a new and modern hotel. The rooms are very clean. It is a perfect location when traveling by bus or train for an overnight. (about a 10 min walk for both) I would not stay here longer or when visiting Pisa because it is far from the city center. The area around the hotel is not very nice and there is nothing to do.
Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff, and showed to our room. The room was high tech,, and overall had everything we needed (including cups, glasses, a kettle and a small fridge). The room was nice and clean, and the beds were comfortable. We only stayed one night (as we had a very early morning flight), and it was very handy to be able to walk to the airport (took 7-8 minutes).
The room was maybe a bit too high tech, as reception had to reset the aircon and hot plates on the stove for us. There was also a night light in the room that we could not figure out how to turn off. Finally, the biggest problem was the thin walls of the hotel. As we had a very early start we went to bed relatively early, and we were kept awake by other guests (walking the hallways, showering etc). As expected there were also some planes coming in, but this ended about 12am. Overall, would stay here because of location again, if had an early flight departure.
