Our overall experience at the hotel was very good. It's postion to train & bus staions, more inportantly for us to the old centre was excellent. The reception staff were always very courteous. The room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels. All in all a very good short break experience. I suppose my only gripe was that I would have like some fresh fruit with the continental breakfast, for me the breakfast was acceptable. My husband, however, was getting somewhat 'cheesed off' with the cheese and ham sandwiches he was having each morning. |

Small rooms, uncomfortable beds and only 1 pillow. Air conditioning broke the first night and they wouldn't call out an electrician till the next morning, which also affected a few other rooms incl the electricity. Slight whiff of dirty drain coming from the bathroom in out room. |

Friendly people, close to the train station. Breakfast was a little poor and the single room is small and designed a little awkwardly. |

Ideal location in centre of the city within 100 metres of railway station. Staff were very friendly and spoke English. Towels were changed daily. Breakfast was typical continental but adequate. Television covered most European languages and BBC world service. The location was within easy walking distances of the major sites and a variety of restaurants and cafes. The room was very warm. There did not seem to be a way of turning the heat down without opening the window. |

It is hard to fault this place. It is near the railway and bus stations, easy walking to all points of interest in Florence. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff are very helpful. The neighbourhood is noisy but the shutters and windows block out nearly all of it. The Hotel itself represents outstanding value for money. The only criticism I have is that the internet costs 6 euros per hour. We have had free internet everywhere else we have stayed - at hotels of varying quality. |

It was very close to the main train station and in walking distance to 99% of all tourist attractions. Heating system didn't work; one day the housekeeping left a dirty bath towel; blow dryer hose was torn; bathroom lights needed repair. Rooms need to be inspected by hotel management more often. |

Hotel Alba is right next to the cloisters of Santa Maria Novella. This beautifully restructured property overlooks its quiet internal courtyard and offers a host of modern comforts. |
To experience Florence at its best, you must live it as a true Florentine. Staying in a luxurious suite in a Renaissance building is surely going to make the difference. |
Home to friendly staff, pleasant rooms and a cordial atmosphere, this central hotel is positioned close to Florence’s celebrated monuments and museums, and a short walk from the train station. |
Set in the historical heart of Florence, this excellently located hotel is within walking distance of the main sights, and has a rooftop terrace with stunning views over the city. |
