This is my 3rd stay at the Hotel Boccaccio. I like the location and it is a pretty good value for the money.
The Single room is pretty small.
The staff was very helpful and pleasant.
Close to train station
Bed too soft, worn out over the years, need a new bed. Wifi signal is very bad in the room.
Good location, clean and weak kept, breakfast very nice
Single rooms are rather compact
The hotel staff were very helpful. Made reservations and obtained tickets for us. Hotel is in perfect location only a few minutes from the train station. Although a noisy area no sound was heard once the windows were closed. Breakfast was simple but enough to get the day started. Definitely would recommend staying at this hotel.
Hotel offers no amenities. Only two tv stations but you are not there to watch tv.
Close to station, great staff. It had a little out door area on the 1st floor that we used for happy hour.
Just about everything! Spacious clean and tastefully furnished rooms; excellent breakfasts; helpful, patient staff who responded to all questions and requests for assistance; great location close to railway station; easy walk from hotel to attractions, markets, river, etc. Great restaurants close-by. Highly recommended!
All good. Just one suggestion - It would be good to have access to an iron and ironing board on request.
The staff, close to the train and handy to everything.
The coffee wasn't the best but not a disaster.
The Wi-Fi signal not strong in the room
We liked the location, which was great for walking to all the sight-seeing locations, and minutes away from Santa Maria Novella Train Station, to and from which operated the airport shuttle
During the six days we were there, we never had Wi-fi in our room. If we went down to the lobby, or on the corridor of floor 2, no problem, but being able to relax in the privacy of our room to deal with business emails, or family emails, no go.
The breakfast lady was not as bad as what the previous comments said. She was polite and helpful.
The lights in the room are a bit dark. The breakfast was a little too simple. There was only one plug in the whole room
Good about everything
Did not find anything negative, I will check further next time
Staff - Very Friendly Location - Excellent
Room furnishing is tired and in need of renewal.
Very overpriced. Can get a better location and nicer hotel for less money.
location is very good, convennient to the train station and bus station, also to the old town.
the price is too expensive.
Very clran and convenient location
Breakfast and small room
The hotel is in a very good location, next to main station. However, not many nice restaurants around. From the hotel you can walk to the main squares in the area (20min) and u can easily go to the station and meet the organised tours.
Only one of the guys on the reception was helpful. The receptionists in General weren't welcoming nor helpful. Ex: I wanted him to help book an organised tour for the next day, he said:" I'm busy"!!! Unacceptable. As for the breakfast and the breakfast lady: first, she s disrespectful, she keeps on causing annoying sounds with plates and utensils as if she s trying to torture you!! The breakfast, poor in quantity and variety! I took some pictures, unfortunately I don't have room to post here. All in all the hotel should have lower rates if they plan to provide the same service and facilities.
Location was ok and Stefano was the only staff member that was pleasant and easy to deal with.
The staff was awful, and the rooms were awful. Beds were ridiculously uncomfortable, and the staff didn't care to try and help. The lady that works the breakfast area was smug and dreadful to deal with. Overall our stay was not good at all.
Good staff, comfy bed, breakfast room and patio.
All is excellent
Reception was particularly helpful and informed. My 'single' room was very comfortable with a nice sized bathroom. Very close to train station but not far to tourist hotspots. An excellent choice!
Quite frankly, nothing.
Very nice furnishings, friendly staff, good breakfast in a nice atmosphere. Great location, just a block from the train station and walking distance to just about everything. Our room was in the front of the hotel, with a small balcony which was really nice. No issue at all with street noise.
Nothing not to like! Would certainly stay again!
