Staff where very good, breakfast was also very nice with interesting outlook, great location for sight seeing. The bed was a nightmare could not sleep in rock hard with lumps, bathroom no shower curtain for overhead shower so forced to sit in bath and hand shower, toilet kept burping, so obviously problem with plumbing next question is difficult to answer not having stayed in this city before hard to compare to what is classed as acceptable

Very central, and in a quiet back street. Bit off the tourist throng so you can find some really nice local resturants with local italians. We insisted we stayed on the second floor with the refurbished rooms which were excellent.

Location, location, location! Quiet location in a pedestrian courtyard but close to all the major sites. Great view from breakfast room. Staff were responsive and helpful. Modest room with basic bed and furniture, clean modern bathroom. Shame about low quality sheets and towels, always scratchy and sometimes fraying- not good for sensitive skin or anyone who values good linen in a hotel.

This hotel is in a great location - near all the sites but in a quiet alley - away from the crowds. The rooms are small but elegant and clean. Staff was great and the breakfast offered just about everything you could want. It's a bit expensive - but probably because of the location. It's located near the Roman ruins - but still an easy walk to the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps. The breakfast is served in a upstairs room with a great view - and the food selection is more than adequate. We were pleased. This hotel is a little expensive relative to others we checked and others we have used in Rome. Coffee wasn't very good (unusual for Italy). Otherwise all was great!

We were made to fell very welcome by the staff. The atmosphere was very relaxed and our room was excellent value and easily accommodated our party of four female adults. The breakfast room has a lovely view and the hotel is ideally situated for the city and attractions Rome offers.

Quaint and old-fashioned hotel, situated in a hard to find courtyard just off Via Nazionale. It gave you a feel of being in a country location despite being bang in the centre - quite a stroke of imagination to achieve that. It does not serve meals other tan breakfast but there is a quaint restaurant with good food just across the yard. Overpriced despite the basic facilities - costs the same as the most modern Hilton which we were in the first night.

Hotel Bolivar had an excellent staff that were ready to help at anytime. They arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the airport, and he was on time waiting for us holding a sign with our names. The hotel also arranged seversl sight seeing tours to the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and to Pompeii for a day. The breakfast was a great way to start the day and the hostess at breakfast was very clean and friendly. The triple room was adequate space for two adults and a child, but the double room was a bit on the small side for two adults in twin beds. The tv had only a news channel in English, but my son didn't seem to mind watching cartoons in Italian.

I was in town for the Rome Marathon. I needed to be close to the start/finish and Hotel Bolivar was just down the road. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast as I always bring my own when running a race. The room was comfortable, though small, but I was alone so it didn't matter. It was nice to have an option to park my car for the day while I was running. I wish this trip to Rome had been longer but I would certainly use this hotel again if I make it back. I didn't like being on the ground floor. I hear some street noise while I was trying to sleep. Nothing the hotel can do about that, I know.

Great location, veru friendly staff and accomodating. the first night we arrived we got a room for 3 that was too small and also uses as a connecting room so I told the front desk and they chanced me to a very nice room with a bath tub!. Peter the manager went out of his way so we would be satisfied. They also recommended us two nice restaurants near by and helped us with transportation to the air port. The rooms are not to large , but definetly answered our needs. the location of the hotel is very centered but quiet between buildings, so there is no view from the rooms. Again, for our needs it was perfect because we could sleep very goodat night and see Roma in the day!.

The front desk guy, Rocco, was extremely helpful and spoke great English. He suggested a restaurant that was absolutely fantastic. The location of the hotel was extremely good, central to the sights and within walking distance of the termini train station (20 minute walk). The room was large and comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and the tv was good and had English stations. The lady cleaning/serving breakfast was sick, she was coughing the entire time which is a pet peeve of mine as she was distributing the food. She also talked to herself The hotel is down a dark street (More like an alley), making it kind of scary to get to. It is also hard to find for the first time, luckily they still had their large sign lit up allowing it to be seen from the main streets. The hotel offers a shuttle to the airport, but it's a ripoff at €50. We went to another shuttle company that charged €31.

The best thing about this hotel is the location... It is located right in between trevi fountain and collosium ,near to most historical site,. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from and just a short walk to trevi and spagna area, .. Free wifi is good... We stayed on the ground floor and was able to sleep peacefully as the hotel is not in a noisy area. Hotel staf is very friendly and helpful, the response is superior. Flexible on check-out time. The hotel arranges pick up transfer from the Airport with reasonable price. Breakfast is not very exciting... But is sufficient... Although it's the exact same every morning... Bathroom is small.
