Great price. Excellent location. Stylish room
Great staff, clean room, excellent breakfast.
Fantastic location. Great friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Noise of other guests in hallways at night time. Bedroom doors slam closed.
The location was fantastic, but to me the most outstanding thing was the staff they were amazing and so helpful. Would stay here again.
Room too small.
Excellent location if only in Rome for 3 days. It is w/in 10/15 minutes walking distance to Coloseo, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, about 30 minute walk to Vatican. Very nice staff, very helpful. Had a great time!!
staff hospitality, assistance was really great, thanks to all staff in the hotel.
Location and Staff
- location is perfect as very close to most city attractions with walking distance - breakfast is nice with great view on city roofs - would not reccomend it for romantic weekend, but great for a few days stay in Rome
My expectations were higher than the result as in the pictures the rooms looks much bigger... also the staff was polite, but cold, not helpful. We spent 3 days celebrating wedding anniversary, but the hotel is not as exiting as I was expecting from the pictures and description.
Location was convenient to sites. The rooftop breakfast area was pleasant and food decent.
Room was advertised as spacious and was very small for a triple. Although bathroom was marble and had a tub, it was extremely small and the shower head kept falling down. The room was depressing. Only one chair and a small desk in room. The hotel smelled musty. It was a disappointment for approximately $250 per night.
Second time staying here. Excellent location.
Room was a bit smaller than previous stay.
Friendly and helpful staff who were happy to answer any questions we had. Flexibility with request re a late check-out for a small additional rate- very worthwhile as was so hot! Location was excellent as close to all main visits and shopping areas. You will need a taxi to Vatican though - this only costs about 10-12 Euros. Good buffet breakfast up on 3rd Floor with rooftop views.
No problems with anything. We had rooms 215 and 214 which were ideal for us.
Superb location, ideal for all the sites. The hotel is hidden away in a quiet back street but within 10 minutes you can be at the Colosseum, the Forum and the Palatine. Staff were really friendly and willing to help at all times.
Our room was one of the smaller ones on the third floor but it was quiet - no passing traffic either inside or outside the hotel so this didn't cause us a problem
The location of the Hotel is very central.
Shower waste did not drain, WC cistern did not refill, staff were grumpy and unhelpful.
Excellent location and convenient. Nice breakfast. Beautiful room.
I cannot say enough good things about our first visit to Rome and our stay at Hotel Bolivar. First and foremost, the staff is amazing!!! Even before we arrived, I received an email from Stefano offering to arrange transport from the airport. When we did arrive, we were greeted personally by Peter, who made us feel welcome and accommodated our early arrival by letting us check in extremely early (much appreciated since the flight from the USA was long and we didn't sleep much). Breakfast was great in the morning---the views from the breakfast room on the third floor were amazing. Each day when we returned from sightseeing, we were greeted by Angelo, who was very helpful in recommending places for dinner or offering us refreshment in the lounge. Secondly, The location was perfect---it's tucked away so not too noisy and within walking distance to almost everything we saw. Many thanks to Peter, Angelo, and Luigi for he terrific service. We will definitely be back for our next trip!!
The wifi was pretty sketchy the first day----but Peter was kind enough to change our room to a larger triple on the second floor on day two which solved that issue completely!!
Staff were helpful. Position was very central to all popular tourist attractions. Lots of restaurants close by to chose from. Breakfast was good. Room was small but comfortable.
No tea and coffee facilities in the room.
Location, location, location! Ice cold air conditioning (we called our room "The Meat Locker"), great staff, nice breakfast room on top floor with view, good breakfast. Nice bathroom with large shower, shower head with rain fall and two horizontal spray nozzles.
Breakfast Location Remember two buses (64 & 171) they will take you any where ... and bus stop is only 2 mins away from hotel
Room Size but later they changed it ....
No tea/Coffee facilities in the room, noise from next room loud its as if no noise reduction facility used.
Not a 4star! Very small room that needs updating. Didn't enjoy it much.
We found this hotel through this website. Excellent location, friendly staff and a great breakfast. definately recomend
Close to major sites Accommodating staff Clean & good sized room Wifi reception good
Although rooms we're clean and large, room could do with modernising
Location was good - easy walking to most historical sights and not on a busy tourist street. WiFi was good most of the time - like most places it was slow in the busy periods. View from breakfast room was lovely, breakfast satisfactory. Reception staff very helpful.
Breakfast staff a little slow to replenish when busy. Beds very firm - both mattress & pillows. Bathrooms very compact.
