We liked a lot the guy Antonio! He's always there and he was very nice with us! The location is perfect...close to everything! And the bedroom was clean and confortable!
An apt style unit in a building with interesting structure. the hotel is located in a small lane close to the main street(with several buses running by), convenient. And there's more than one super market nearby and a nice pizza store for take-away pizza. Good value deal and make authentic expeirence as a local in Roma. The owner/front desk staff is hosptable, speaks good english, and initiates to guide the tourist with a map.
It's a bit dark in the night to walk in the lane, and there're several doors to go through to reach your own unit. for female solo traveler might be a bit scary. but the surroundings are full of tourists so it's actually pretty safe.
We loved feeling like a local in our "own" apartment on a little side street. It was very quiet and we slept well on a very comfortable bed. The house has a beautiful old character to it and is very clean! We were within 10-15 minute walking distance of all the main historical sites! Less than 5 minutes from Piazza Navona! We loved everything! Will definitely come back again!
The place itself is excellent: great facilities ans staff. Also, the location is remarkable.
The wifi works poorly... they could make it better.
- perfect location - reasonable price - puerly and quietly - good for young people
Clean, comfortable, superb location, very friendly welcome and very helpful. Highly recommend.
Could do with another mirror in the main bedroom (but that's my only criticism!)
Staff is very kind, the room is big and clean. Everything is near. 10/10!!!!
Perhaps the Campo is overly tourist-oriented but the location more than makes up for any pitfalls.
Dark entrance and stairwell, thank goodness I had a torch.
Bollo Appartments was the perfect choice for my holiday. I had a lovely, clean, spacious, comfortable room with all the facilities I needed for my stay. The kitchenette was useful for making espresso and breakfast. A bad smell in bathroom was fixed very quickly when I reported it - previous people had dropped plastic down drain and blocked it.
WiFi was a bit flaky. Kitchenettes could do with more utensils and a sharp knife. Decor is a bit worn and tired in places, but what can you expect at a budget price.
Great location. Nearby piazza had lots of great restaurants and shops
My mother and I were both covered in bites after our stay -presumably by bed bugs. The bathroom and kitchen utensils could have been cleaner.
Location close to main landmarks
Reception only open for check-in, no service on Sundays or holidays. The room was not made every day Hot water in the shower was poor No facilities for printing vouchers or flight on line check-in By using the bathwater the drain smelled bad
The location, the size of the accomodation and the wonderful service.
The very slow drain in the shower. Probably just needed to be de- hair clogged but I didn't have the stomach to do it.
Nice staff, great location
Wifi connection is not reliable
People working there were so nice and helpful:) Location was perfect. The hotel is at Campo de Fiori and this square is close to everywhere by walking.
The room that we stayed was a bit small for two people and there was a ventilation problem at bathroom i guess because some bad air was coming out of bathroom.
I liked the flexibility of stuff, they adapted really well to my specific needs.
Didn't like the general idea about charging extra for check in outside the certain hour frame- when you come to a big city like Rome with a plane it is impossible to exactly predict your time of arrival, especially if you get there in the evening.
position was amazing
WiFi was terrible when was really needed !!. Should not really say it is a benefit as it rarely worked
Very nice and cosy room, spotless clean, very well supplied kitchenette with all the necessary things, comfortable bed, very good water pressure in the shower, good Wi-Fi signal, very kind and helpful receptionist, great neighbourhood. Definitely recommend.
We decided to take a chance on this place when our usual hotel was booked. It turned out to be a smart choice: quiet location, comfortable bed, polite staff, reasonable rates. Lorenzo, at the reception, was especially helpful.
Our room on the floor above street level was tiny, though we liked the private bath. Our main complaint was unreliable wi-fi service. Also, the place may be difficult to find on a first visit. Ask your cab driver to take you right to the door.
Beds very comfortable, apt extremely secure, location steps off Campo di Fiori, elevator, staff very helpful. Always stay here when in Rome. 6-8 buses to everywhere around the corner.
Everything (especially the bathtub!)
loved the location; perfect! Great atmosphere round the Campo and the local streets. If I had been travelling on my own, the room would have been great; it was a bit squeezy with two people trying to move round!! If I come to Rome on my own would stay there again; the staff were helpful when they were around.
while the room had the extensive balcony, inside the room it was a bit tightfor two peopl ; for one person it would have been perfect. Need better signed keys! Was difficult trying to work out which key was for which door!!
the location and the dimension of the room was good.
the bathroom was too small
Amazing location, wonderful staff...!!! Would recommend for everyone...!!
the apartment was spacious, big enough for 5 people, quite well equipped. Lots of wardrobe space. The staff was very helpful. Very quiet location.
There was practically no day light. The bathroom was 'interesting' but bath was difficult to get into. The lighting was not wonderful. No mirror except the bathroom.
The location is excellent and the staff so helpful. Leonardo was the more gentle staff I had the opportunity to be in contact during my 15 days trip thru Italia. I've spent 5 days at Rome and Bollo Apartment was a very good option considering value for money.
It's important to let they know what time you will arrive. The reception is not 24 hours.
