In a 15th-century building in the San Frediano district of Florence, the Casa per Ferie Santo Nome di Gesú has simple rooms. A sweet buffet breakfast is served daily.

Staff was helpful and friendly. The facilities were clean, breakfast absolutely outstanding. While the room is a bit small,it is best for couples to keep in mind this detail. Wifi was not working well on the first floor, but I had no problem hanging out downstairs and connecting there.
The location was very good as it was close enough to the center but also it gave us the possibility of parking on the street. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. There are a few very very good restaurants nearby that are frequented by the locals, so don't venture too far for a meal. Great value for the money.
Nice breakfast. Helpful staff.
EXTREMELY helpful staff, spoke good English, very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. Room was large, comfortable, bathroom well-appointed and very clean. DELICIOUS breakfast, lots of variety, lovely cellar dining room. 20 min walk to Shopping and historic sites, 5 min from river, many parking options.
breakfast, staff, location
Large hotel style room with comfy bed and pillows. Probably my favorite breakfast selection during our Italian holiday...so much to choose from. The staff is really friendly and keep the place secure. Close to Kitsch, which has a great aperitivo buffet selection!
Not really a dislike, but the location is a bit far from the main sites which can be tricky in the heat as there is little shade along the way. Otherwise, the location is well suited in the day or evenings when more businesses and restaurants are open.
Very nice hotel with good breakfast. The staffs are very nice and helpful. The location is about 15 minutes walk to Duomo and downtown Florence.
Staff were all great and organised tickets for the Ufizzi (a must see) and the Academia. Room was spotless.
My room was really nosiy - I could hear everything going on in the room (particulary bathroom) next door. The hotel was a bit too far from the centre of Florence. Didn't like the coffee at breakfast.
Good position, possible to arrive by car,20 minutes to main church on foot; helpful staff; clean room
Great staff .great breakfast.
Excellent and delicious breakfast, helpful staff.
Friendly staff, excellent Wi-Fi signal. The buffet breakfast is decent enough (no hot dishes though)
The hotel is clean and quiet. The breakfast is so rich and give you a good start of the day. The staffs are very helpful. There are very good restaurants nearby. And super market is just five minutes walk . Sure will recommend this hotel to our friends.
The location is a bit far away from centre. But in the other hand gives you very quiet environment.
nice staff, clean room.
Very friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast spread. Easy to find
Room was small, but rooms have been small Everywhere we 'be been in Italy.
The staff were super friendly; offered suggestions for places to eat, how to find the grocery store. They even responded to my email prior to our visit and told us the best way to get to the hotel from the train station. The breakfast was phenomenal! A very sweet young woman prepared a spread each and every day.
I specifically booked the hotel because it had air conditioning. Unfortunately, we were told that Florence regulations would not allow them to run the air conditioning before June. They did offer us a fan, which helped. We opened the floor to ceiling doors at night to cool off, but the mosquitoes were so bad we opted to keep the doors closed and just be hot. I would definitely stay again during another time of the year.
The location is perfect for me. Everything is good for me. Specially breakfast is good stuff what i had experienced before. It is awesome to enjoy.
The staff was very kind and helpful. They went out of their way to help with our museum reservations.
Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was great. Location was walkable to most sites. Quiet.
nice and friendly staff, vary location.
No working air conditioning, in room refrigerator didn't work, large rip in the screen lot of bugs, small "quad" room.
Staff very helpful and had effective English. Staff had good knowledge of Florence and were happy to assist us in our first visit to Florence.
The location is quite, but also close enough to some restaurants and shopping areas. The staff were helpful and the rooms were cleaned everyday.
It was too hot to walk around, but soon got around that by waking up early and do our daily walks.
The hotel should really be a three star hotel. Good location and great to be just far enough away from the hordes of tourists with gardens nearby and a pleasant stroll along the river in the evenings from the centre. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended for a stay in Florence.
Nothing not to like.
Breakfeast is very good (for Italy). The hotel is located quietly, especially the garden side.
They did not answer e-mails ahead of our stay. A little bit far from the center for walking.
Everything was perfect, the staff was very friendly, the facillities perfect, very clean, the rooms were perfect, we also found a free parking in front of the hotel, the brekfast was very nice...I recommend this hotel, will stay again!
