staff are great location is excellent room is nice( a bit smaller this time than the first time} breakfast is good
wifi very poor bathroom light for make up very dim
Everything is excellent!
We like the hotel location, so close to the square and very handy for us. Love the room design, it looks exactly the same as on the picture and very clean. Will highly recommend it to friends and will stay there again. Also the breakfast is very good too with scramble eggs, sauages and good selection of fruits.
wifi service is not very good, the hotel had to restart the router.
very nice design, good location, amazing staff
Location was perfect.
We arrived late 11pm after a delayed flight and there was no provision or effort to assist with parking car, luggage, or provide food of any type, for us including kids
Very friendly,helpful staff. Excellent position
The friendliness of the staff. The fact that we could park right outside the door. The decor. The convenience of the location. Good beds. Overall ambience and aesthetic appeal.
Well appointed bathroom but too tight for 2 people. Not a great choice for Breakfast.
Fantastic hotel, welcoming friendly staff. Clean, modern fresh rooms and lots of choice for breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.
The Staff have perfect English and were so friendly. Breakfast was amazing and the Location is just outstanding. Highly Recommend.
The room was very small but wouldn't let that stop me from staying here again.
Perfect location, great breakfast and gentle staff.
Bed and Breakfast and staff nice Room cose to arena and old town
Room to small and to expensive you can even not open well your suitcase! WIFI in the room doesn't work at all you have to go to reception for wifi
Excellent location. Lovely room with beautiful view. Extremely comfy bed and very clean room. Breakfast had a wide variety to choose from and service was great.
location, style and design of the hotel - very cozy
The Hotel was beautiful and the location incredible. The staff are extremely helpful - above and beyond I would say and they made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We had valet parking which was brilliant and hired two bikes which was a fantastic opportunity to see the sights. The Hotel is very stylish and spotlessly clean. The beds were so comfortable and it was lovely and warm with expensive bedding, pillows and furnishings. The receptionist went out of her way to make us comfortable and welcome - she gave us maps, sorted out bikes and lights out and tried very hard to find us some shampoo and conditioner and a travel adapter and a hairdryer but couldnt find one at the hotel which was a shame.
There was no complimentary shampoo and conditioner which was awkward since we were unable to bring liquids through customs and did rely on the hotel supplying these. We had to go shopping therefore and buy large shampoo and conditioner which was expensive as the shops are all designer. It cost us 45 euros for two nights shampoo. The Hairdryer was impossible to manage, overheated and burned your hands - I did ask for a plug in hairdryer but they didnt have one. Also I asked if the hotel had a travel adapter as the one I was using didnt work but unfortunately the hotel didnt have one of these either. This is a good hotel and these are basic traveller requests. I would suggest complimentary shampoo and conditioner rather than shoe shine and body lotion which was supplied. A couple of plug in hairdryers would be good and a set of adapters for international guests. The breakfast was average - a lot of pre packed food, wrapped biscuits and packets instead of fresh or homemade produce I would have liked to see a variation and I would have liked to have been offered a top up on tea/coffee
Veryy very nice hotel, clean, nice staff, comfortable rooms, great breakfast, marvelous location
First morning in the breakfast, behaviours of the old waiter with eye glasses, he was very nervous cause we want to have our coffees outside altough we were going to make our own service, thanks god he was not there on the other morning and all of us so happy
Staff from cleaners to waiters to receptionists were always polite and ready to help. I spent a total of ten days and was able to see most of the city on foot. Evening meal in attached restaurant expensive. Breakfast excellent.
The most excellent location made it easy for us to do some quick sightseeing in the morning, as we only had a quick one night stopover in Verona. We stayed in a triple and the extra bed was great!
Everything seemed really clean until we looked under the bed when we checked out to make sure nothing was left behind and the dust bunnies (clumps of fuzzy dust) were huge. But the hardwood floor where we walked seemed really clean - way better than dirty carpets we have encountered elsewhere. Plus the bathroom vent fan was not working at all. My husband fixed it and found it to be completely clogged with gross grimy dust. But once fished it worked great. Plus I had to put the horrible air freshener oil sticks outside the room due to allergies - but that's just me. But all in all we had a restful night.
Location to eateries and attractions. Beautiful room and very friendly staff. Even looked after our bags after checkout to allow us further sightseeing. Hot and cold breakfast with great selection.
Room was fairly small as was bathroom.
Location ideal - just off the Piazza Bra, two minutes from the Arena, and within a mile (twenty minutes' walk) of almost everything in the city. The station also a mile: not such a pleasant walk, but at least three bus services cover the distance. Service efficient and helpful. Breakfast almost all one could wish for..
We had a lovely room (230) with a delightful view across the Piazza, but well insulated from its bustle. The helpfulness of the receptionist was absolutely outstanding. The overall standard of the Bologna is much higher than its 3 star rating would imply - strongly recommended for an off-season stay, but bear in mind that in common with all of Verona, the prices will be sky high in the opera season.
Nothing - it's great.
Hotel has been a running business for too long without seeing the customer as it's centre. Coffee was atrocious.
Location is PERFECT for Verona sightseeing! Right on the square by the arena. SUPER CLEAN! Beautifully Decorated hotel!! Just Outstanding! Staff was Wonderful! Room was a bit small but was adequate for short stays.
NOTHING!! EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL!!
Hotel Bologna is a warm and well appointed small hotel in what is arguably the best location in Verona. House keeping was immaculate, restaurant was a cut above and front desk staff superlatively helpful and pleasant.
Housekeeping staff started their duties on our floor a bit early, waking us unnecessarily.
Everything was perfect, very clean, bed really comfy, quiet even though central, great breakfast, excellent location, friendly helpful staff.
