The owner runs the hotel, that´s says a lot. He is very interested in guest´s confort and well being. Breakfast has lots of choices. Dinner is good for the price (worth to have it one night). Confort and silence of the room is very good. Bathroom also good. Gardens and swimming pool clean! Great location for tuscan´s day trips.
Very nice stay Nice and large swimming pool Good price Very nice breakfast Great staff
A bit noisy in the morning in our room (corridor)
The View, The Pool, Quiteness, The Facilities
+ A privileged location. Beautiful views from our room. It really felt like being in the Toscana region there. + + Breakfast there was probably the best of our breakfasts' experiences throughout our whole Italy's trip. I loved the croissants there. + Really nice and helpful staff. + Close to Siena which culturally has a lot to offer. + If you enjoy wine you cannot chose a better location. The hotel is located between Chianti and Montepulciano region: you choose! +The swimming pool
- Very welcoming staff - Well located near Siena, easy to find - Good restaurant for dinner (be careful, closed on certain daysà - Superb swimming pool (18m long!) - Clean rooms - Enough parking spaces
- To be honest, not much :)
room, views, pool, breakfast, service
Out of the way and nothing much to do. Entertainment out of the area. No kettle in the room with complimentary tea and coffee
Lovely location, super friendly staff and very well mentained!
Picturesque location, so beautiful there was even a wedding when we arrived. You feel like you're a million miles away which is what we wanted. Close to wine tours, streets to bicycle through & take pictures. Couldn't get enough of the pool! We wish we stayed longer than 3 nights!
Lunch at the restaurant wasn't great
The garden, the setting
The apartment was badly equipped, we couldn't find any staff to sort out lights that did not work etc. The loungers by the pool were poor quality and some were broken. The restaurant served quite poor quality food and breakfast was not very good.e.g. No fresh juice, the cakes and croissants were stale and there wasn't much fresh fruit.
My husband and I spent 2 nights at Borgo Casato. Massimo and the other staff were great. We needed an iron and in less that ten minutes we had an iron and an iron board. They all made us feel so welcome. The breakfast food was delicious an abundant. We also had dinner there and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The room was comfortable with a nice decor. The location, about 20 minutes from Siena, is perfect to decompress and relax. The views from Borgo Casato are Tuscan dreamy, perfect for lovers! We would love to go back some day.
Perfect location for stunning views of the Tuscan countryside. The staff were fantastic, couldn't try to help enough. The rooms were beautiful. Our best stay in Italy.
It wasn't a great location for seeing many things, Siena was the closest and that was still 30 mins away.
The owner Max is very nice, prepared for us lovely dinners, explained to us all the things we can do arround. There is Castellnuovo Berardenga very near if you want to buy stuff from the store. The pension is right on the hills with a breathtaking view over Toscana's wineyards. Lovely place, perfect food, great landscapes, big pool and lovely hosts. They also have a nice dog Gordon. We will definetly come there again.
We liked the owner and staff who did their best to make our stay enjoyable.
The WiFi in the room was weak and forced us to connect from the lobby.
great place to stay. great location close to most attractions of Chianti region. Max and the stuff was great. very helpful and friendly. we would recommend this place very much!!!
the room is not so specious. although it was very clean and comfortable
I honestly think that if you would feel the real hospitality from a person and from the Tuscany Family and B&B, this MUST BE YOUR TARGET . Max (Massimiliano) was such a great manager of one of the best ever place i slept in my life. Sincerely, the food, the room, the cleaning of every area of the Borgo Casato, the magnificent view i had by my window, my chair, by the swimming pool, by the restaurant, ohhhh wow.... Max and his people were always ready for any request we made. Sweet, capable and faster to setup all of ours necessities. so what kind of words i need to spend more on this Borgo Casato B&B ?? I just think nothing more......get ready and if you must choose a place were to sleep close to Siena, close to the Magnificent Val di Chiana, close to Perugia or Florence, do not hesitate, take a room or a flat here. Thank you Max and keep going on as you are! we will back soon (maybe less than two months) in your Amazing Borgo Casato.
I really HATE that BORGO CASATO is TOOOOOO FAAAAR from my HOUSE. :))))
location very good - in the middle of the Tuscany countryside. Easy access to many villages - Montepulciano, Sinalunga, Siena, etc.
poor wifi connection, not very clean and interior very dated.
Very friendly staff, always available and ready to help. Thanks for a great stay!
Location, staff, best breakfast we had during our roadtrip in Tuscany
A very cozy place. The staff members were very kind and helpful. The reakfast was rich and varied. We also enjoyed our dinner at the hotel restaurant. Wonderful view.
The Wi-Fi signal was very weak, and the bandwidth was only 1 Mbps. The room we stayed in had a sitting bathtub which was very uncomfortable.
My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Borgo di Casato as part of a week-long Tuskany trip. We totally FELL IN LOVE with Borgo di Casato!!! The terrain with view is super nice (like Tuscany from photos!), the rooms were very good value for money, clean and nicely furnished, amazing cake selection plus many more for breakfast, and the staff - we got to know Massimo and Margerita during our stay - were outstanding. We travel a lot both for leisure and business, but I have rarely seen people like Margerita and Massimo running the B&B with such friendliness and client orientation. I broke the key of our room, and was stunned they repaired it within 10min after being noticed. We had dinner twice at Borgo's restaurant, and were very satisfied - all starter, primi and main dish were delicious, the house wine tasty - to a very fair price. Plus you dine with an amazing view! We hope to come soon again!
It is a very pleasant place. Room was clean and pretty. Staff was nice and supportive.
We booked a room with a nice view, but we got different room. There is no coffe/chocolate machine - you have to ask a waiter to do it.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast, good restaurant, the room was comfortable and well heated. Good location in what I would consider the most charming part of Tuscany.
WiFi access would have been a plus and a DVD player as well, though not material.
Beautiful place, full of character, a hospitable host
We we here during off season (the end of October) but it was still disappointing that the pool, wifi and breakfast were not available
