We had a great time. We started the day doing yoga with a marvelous view over the valley and mountain - and then swimmed in the beautiful pool. The location is excellent if you have a car: near to both Firenze and Sienna. The staff and their warm hospitality made the stay very enjoyable. And we had real good italian dinners at the restaurant. We also tried the spa - which was a very special and very enjoyable experience. The rooms - and the bathrooms - were very good.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Saubere Zimmer, toller Ausblick, kostenlose Parkplätze, schoko-Osterei auf den Zimmer u super freundliche Dame an der Rezeption Für ein vier Sterne haus mit dem entsprechenden Preis ist es eine Frechheit 10 Euro pro Tag zu verlangen, wenn man seine eigenen Getränke in der minibar kühlt. Auch unverschämt ist es für die Sauna eine extra gebühr zu verlangen. Essen im Restaurant nix besonderes, überteuert!

Das Hotel ist gut erhalten und gut gepflegt. Service beim Frühstück war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gute Lage zwischen Florenz und Siena Frühstücksbuffet war für ein 4 Sterne Hotel sehr einfallslos. Leider wird man ein "Abzocke"- Gefühl im Hotel nicht los (2 Euro Gebühr für ein Handtuch am Pool, 25 Euro Gebühr für Benutzung des Kühlschrankes und angedrohte Strafzahlung von 25 Euro bei Verzehr von eigenen Speisen und Getränken auf dem Zimmer) Der Fitnessraum war eine Fitnessabstellkammer und nicht ansprechend, allerdings waren alle Geräte funktionsbereit.

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön in die Toskana eingebettet. Saubere Zimmer, kostenlose Parkplätze, freundliches Personal. Das Hotel ist für Besichtigungen der bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung gut geeignet. Das Kühlen der eigenen Getränke in der Minibar ist zu teuer. Das Essen ist gut aber überteuert. Das Tagesessen gilt für die ganze Woche. Der Ort Tavernelle ist zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Dort gibt es gute / günstige Lokalitäten.

heel goeie ligging : ts firenze & siena, en in de prachtige chianti streek ; zeer nette kamers, vriendelijk personeel aan de receptie het feit dat we 25 EUR moesten betalen, omdat we in de minibar van de kamer een flesje van ons water & 2 nectarines hadden bijgezet : gebruik als frigo, dus 25 EUR te betalen.. vrij zielig..

Un ottimo Hotel dotato di camere spaziose e ben pulite; cucina deliziosa con con una buona scelta di piatti sapientemente consigliati dal maitre Massimo; giardino per curato e una bella piscina che per la stagione non abbiamo potuto sfruttare; situato in una posizione ideale come base per visite nel Chianti, a Siena San Gimignano e Volterra.

La cortesia dello staff va oltre l'immaginazione, e il cibo è buonissimo. Il prezzo è un pò alto ma quando si esce felici da una struttura, non ci pensi molto. L'ambiente è ben riscaldato, altro punto a suo favore, ed è a metà strada tra Firenze e Siena, motivo per cui l'ho scelto. I prodotti per il bagno sono ottimi (infatti consiglio di fare una linea loro da vendere) e il phon è il primo che trovo così veloce in un albergo. E' stupendo, ben arredato e molto pulito.

Ampiezza, cura dei dettagli e pulizia della camera. Gentilezza, disponibilità e professionalità del personale. Ottima cucina curata da un giovane e competente chef. Atmosfera rilassante e piacevolissima godibilità del panorama circostante. Da provare in estate vista l'ottima posizione della piscina.

L'acceuil, l'amabilité et la disponibilité du personnel. L'endroit bien agréable. l'oenothèque intéressante. La qualité et les connaissances oenologiques du sommelier, ainsi que son bon réseau de relation avec les caves et producteurs de la région.

wunderbare Lage, als Ausgangspunkt für diverse Ausflüge in die Toscana bestens geeignet. Man kann aber auch wunderbar den Tag am Pool verbummeln und sich vom freundlichen Service verwöhnen lassen. Auch das Restaurant ist sehr empfehlenswert.

“Fantastic hotel in great location with lovely staff. This hotel is about a mile outside San Gimignano, close enough for easy access to the town but far enough away to feel like a countryside hotel. Great views over the countryside and to the towers of San Gim. Nice restaurant with reasonably priced excellent food, quite comparable to the prices in town which was a real bonus. Our room was large with a lovely balcony and very modern and clean. The staff were wonderful, very proud of their local area and very concerned for visitors happiness.
