Alessandro, the manager, was a veritable font of information on history, languages, sports, things to do and see, and directions on how to get everywhere in the Tuscan countryside. On top of all of that, he was there to help bail us out when we had car trouble. He has also put together a great staff that keep the place running smoothly. There is nothing we didn't like. Having said that though, you have to have a car to appreciate this place. It is a bit remote from any town of significant size, but it is centrally located enough to see almost anyplace in Tuscany as a day trip.

Very secluded, set in wonderful rolling Tuscan countryside. Spacious room and comfortable bed. Good breakfast. You need a car to stay here - it's up a long unmade track with the enntrance difficult to find unless you use the castle of Monteriggione as a reference point.

It was in a beautiful secluded location, surrounded by Forrest, and olive trees. One morning we looked out our window to see 2 white horses galloping by...then stopping to nibble the grass. The proprieter Allesandro was very gracious and helped us with directions and ideas for our day's outing, as well as excellent directions to our next hotel in Florence. Dinner was served if chosen -and it was delicious!

It was tucked away in the woods in a beautiful old stone building. The staff was very helpful, particularly the manager Alessandro. I wish it had been easier to get to. We did not have a car. But that was part of its charm that it was very secluded.

Beautiful old farm house in a quiet and green setting. Walking distance from Monteriggioni. Excellent breakfast, diners and wines.

Este hotel fica no meio da toscana. Sensação realmente de estar em um pequeno castelo rodeado de um mar verde de plantações. Ao lado de Monteggirioni, lugar lindo. Serve de base para visitar outras cidades. Para quem quer descansar, além dos passeios recomendo.

le calme de l'endroit, l impression d'être en dehors du temps. la maison et son magnifique jardin (olivier, cyprès...toute la toscane) la gentillesse du personnel, l'accueil. la proximité de sienne, un endroit magique et parfait pour rayonner rien

El servicio y el hotel estan bastante bien, la comida que preparan en el hotel es muy buena y la atención del dueño es excelente, lo unico molesto son los ataques de los mosquitos en la zona de la piscina por la tarde.

Il posto è incantevole, immerso nella natura e lontano da qualsiasi fonte di stress; l'unico rumore dalla mattina alla sera sono le cicale. Il personale (proprietari compresi) è davvero cordiale e disponibile. La struttura, le camere, l'arredamento, il contesto e il cibo ricordano la bellezza della Toscana.

красивая усадьба, стоящая в отдолении от дорог, на ухоженной зелёной территории. Бассейн окружён деревьями. Ночью стрёкот цикад и шуршание листвы. Очень просторные номера. Частная бесплатная парковка с большим колличеством мест. Близкое расположение относительно замка Монтериджори. После короткого пути по грунтовой дороге наша машина была вся в пыли и требовала срочной мойки. Хотя это и не относится непосредственно к отелю, но стоит это учесть.

Le cadre est splendide. Ce lieu a une âme.L'étendue de la propriété, rapportée au nombre maximum d'hôtes, garantit la tranquillité qui va bien avec les vacances. Bref, pour un touriste qui ira contempler les vieilles pierres de Florence ou de Sienne ( l'établissement se situe entre ces deux villes voisines), Borgho Gallinaio est une excellente "base arrière". La direction est très professionnelle. De l'accueil à la facturation, tout est clair et précis. Le patron, Alessandro, vous reçoit en italien, français et anglais. Et s'il a une solution à votre problème du moment, vous serez épaulés. Ma fille ( 20 ans) et moi avons apprécié.

Prachtige ligging en kamers, gebouwen. Individuele benadering en aandacht voor goed gevoel door alle personeel. Avondmaal en ontbijt op de binnenkoer, met flexibele aanpassingen mbt dieet!

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig, es hat nicht allzu viele, dafür grosszügige Zimmer. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr familiär

Traumhaft schöner alter Hof, auf einer lichteren Anhöhe im Wald gelegen. Zufahrt über eine gut befahrbare Schotterstrecke. In Sichtweite zu dem Ort Montereggioni (ca. 25 Minuten Fußweg). Nach Siena nur 10 km. Ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Touren in die Umgebung und als ruhige "Insel" zum Ausspannen.

Alessandro, le propriétaire est adorable et au petit soins pour ses clients L’hôtel se trouve dans une bâtisse du XIIIème siècle toute rénovée dans la campagne toscane, les chambres sont spacieuse et confortables, la piscine se trouve au milieu de la forêt et le calme ambiant est merveilleux. Un repas est proposé le soir en option et le petit déjeuner buffet excellent... Bref une excellente adresse à recommander vivement Grazie Alesssandro ! Si la route d'accès était goudronnée ce serait parfait.
