Borgo La Fornace is a brand-new villa in the Tuscan countryside, 2 km outside of Poppi. Ideal for visiting Casentino National Park and local medieval castles, it offers a choice of rooms or apartments. Accommodation here is bright and spacious and has wood floors, a kettle and LCD TV with satellite channels. Each one has a private bathroom with a hairdryer and shower, while the apartments also feature a kitchenette and outdoor area with deckchairs. A sweet Italian breakfast is served each morning and free parking is provided. La Fornace Borgo is near a horse riding stable and is 10 minutes' walk from Porrena Train Station for trains to Arezzo. Florence is around 1 hour away by car and the Castello dei Conti Guidi, located in Poppi, is just 5 minutes' away by car. la posizione ed il cielo stellato Cercavo un posto più "caldo". Nonostante l'arredo sia nuovo, targato IKEA, il fatto che la stanza sia in un condominio toglie un pò di fascino al tutto. La colazione poi così fredda....tutto già pronto sul bel tavolino!

Cortese la signora all'accoglienza camera e bagno puliti (anche se balcone sporco) camera ampia e silenziosa letto comodo riscaldamento efficiente e ben funzionante bagno ampio e ben arieggiato Non corrispondenza tra la prenotazione booking (tv lcd con canali satellitari, pagamento accettato Visa, Euro/Mastercard, CartaSì) e quanto trovato (assenza di televisore, pagamento solo in contanti) colazione solo "fai da te" con tostapane, frigorifero e bollitore (peraltro sufficientemente fornita) dotazione di asciugamani minimale

Buona posizione e bel residence vicinissimo ai centri turistici più famosi del Casentino. Buona idea anche la colazione da preparare self- service. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. La sera la strada è un po' troppo buia e senza quasi illuminazione. Non sono attrezzati per il pagamento con carta di credito.

Non c'è l'aria condizionata, non c'è la colazione al mattino (solo Nescaffè e latte da scaldarsi da soli, pane tostato, un po' di marmellata e burro)
