Because of it's distance from Bellagio the hotel shuttle bus could possibly do a couple of extra runs during the day.

Friendly helpful staff and dog! cleanliness, location and views, free wi-fi and frequent shuttle service to Bellagio, safe car parking, laundry cleaning facility.

Small breakfast area if weather keeps you indoors. No real eating facility for evening meals or bar although limited meals were made available if requested.

The staff here are amazing and the accommodation spacious and well appointed.

Walls in rooms are very 'thin'. Can clearly hear talking, running water, toilets flushing, showers, dogs barking outside, room doors closing, etc. Room furnishings are a bit cold / spartan, but clean. The couch is covered in vinyl which also feels cold. With tile floors throughout and thin walls, the rooms are a bit hollow sounding. If there were nice area rugs, rubber spacers underneath doors and some sound absorbing decorations on the walls, this would really help to make things feel warmer and more quiet. A larger television viewable from the bed would also be nice. The breakfast was a bit basic, especially given that it is an additional ten euro per person.

Fantastic views over lake como! Helpfull staff

Our first stop during our two week vacation and what a way to start off the trip... A luxurious, spacious suite with an absolutely stunning view of the lake and mountains. The hotel provides shuttle service to and from Bellagio, which is a few short minutes away. Breakfast was one of the nicer ones during out trip in Italy.

One minor complaint - we were anxious to check out and start driving to our next destination... But we had to sit and wait 20 minutes because apparently the only employee who could check us out was driving the shuttle to Bellagio at the time.

The studio was modern, comfortable & roomy, with stunning views across the lake. The staff were friendly & obliging & we loved the free shuttle service to Bellagio township. They also spoke good english, communicated well & supplied a good choice at breakfast.

We've booked this hotel because of stunning views. However, our Studio Superior lake view had front lake view only from the kitchen window. The bedroom and our 2 small balconies had only side view that was some disappointment.

Nothing to dislike - when we arrived our first thought was 'wow'! The view was amazing and spectacular. I have already recommended this hotel to others. Very tranquil setting - will hopefully return one day.

The view actually left us speechless , Anna and Elena were very accommodating and the appartment was fantastic , in my opinion this should be 4 star accommodation and 5 star for the views . Breakfast was fantastic and amazing coffee, will definetely be returning here.

Everything! Friendly staff, stunning views, beautiful location & lovely styled hotel on the mountainside. The tranquil peace & quiet was wonderful. Oh & Great breakfast omelettes to. General feel of hotel very personal & friendly. Everyone always very helpful. Advice on how to get around & use the boats, taxis & bus services around the lake were great. The complimentary shuttle bus service to run you into Bellagio centre provided by the hotel was brilliant meaning we could leave our car in the safe on site parking garage from when we arrived, we could then relax & enjoy the wonderful Processco Italy has to offer. Will return to this hotel for sure! My husband & I loved it here!

Beautiful setting and even if you don't have a car the hotel offers a very good shuttle service into Bellagio. There is also a public bus just 5mins walk away. Rooms are beautiful and very comfortable.

We paid peak season price over Easter even though the town is still quiet and the pool at the hotel is not yet open. I would say that without the pool open the hotel should not charge full season prices.

Beautiful location with the best view of Lake Como imaginable. Very friendly staff, extremely clean and luxurious rooms. Lovely breakfast and great coffee.

Location not in town itself so need a car/taxi or use the hotel regular courtesy mini bus.

You'd better have a car as transportation is not available enough in this area however there's a hotel shuttle. Also you can't easily find a good restaurant around the hotel.

Great Location for stunning views of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains. Borgo Le Terraze met everything and more that we were looking for. Friendly and most helpful staff. They also pick you up at the ferry terminal and do a taxi like service back into Bellagio

Its not close enough to Bellagio to walk so you have to depend on their courtesy service. But dont let that put you off. Believe me you will love it

The way to the hotel is very difficult

We only stayed here for one night on our two week trip of Italy- and I wished we could have stayed longer! The hotel was amazing, the staff were super friendly and I never wanted to leave. We are coming back for sure!

Wonderful hotel, would love to stay a bit longer next time. Friendly staff, beautiful country side. The best is the view from the rooms, they have big windows that open up onto Lake Como.

Staff were warm and friendly and even picked us up at night from Bellagio after walking to town that morning. View was sensational. Room was very modern and comfortable.

Not really a negative, but bathroom did not have a shower (only bath). A bit surprised that a (noisy) tour group turned up on our 2nd day.

The location is spectacular. An entire wall of the room is a massive window. The room is about 300 feet above the lake, so the view is immense. You can see Lake Como, the Alps, and all the activity going on below you. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the amenities are great. But by far, that view is what differentiates Borgo Le Terrazze.

If you take a bus from the train station, you need to tell the driver where you're going, and he'll drop you off at the bottom of the hill. You then have to walk up that hill will your bags. Not a big deal, but expect that initial climb. Also, the hotel is about 2-3 miles from Bellagio. They run a free shuttle service 5 or 6 times a day, but if you need to go to (or return from) Bellagio outside of the shuttle times, you're on your own (the public transportation is much less frequent). Not really a criticism of the hotel - but be aware of this when planning your trains out of Lake Como.
