Room was massive for an apartment in Roma, Staff were excellent to us,Location to restraunts were great, Close to Roma's site's, Close to the subway but not so close to the Termini, Cool litte balcony, only stayed one night but would stay longer if I could have.
Stairs, ok for us but not if you dont like steps,
Simona was nice and helpful anytime. The room was clean and the location perfect.
Very friendly, helpful staff! Nice, clean room.
Location and accessibility
Entrance to the house
perfect location - 3 min. to St. Paul's Cathedral, 10 min. to metro and also you can find different restaurants and shops nearby; bus stop to Fiumicino is 10 min. away. Simona and Fabrizio were very welcoming and helpful - showed what to visit in Rome and where to eat, even gave me a map; room was small, but nice and clean. I enjoed my staying there! Thank you)
the apartment is really nice and large. The location is perfect.
the stairs. the apartment is located in the 3rd floor.
Location very good few steps from St. Peter's square. Very clean and staff helpful. Owner very nice and accommodating.
The facilities were good and the kitchen was nice. The location was great.
We saw a rat in the room. The wifi did not work at all. The staff were very rude.
Perfect location, very fresh and new renovated. Close to the Vatican and located on a small street with several nice restaurants and a perfect parking garage.
Air condition worked but it was still a little to warm. Wifi was quite slow but that seems to be the case everywhere in Italian hotels,
Location was Excelent Cleanliness maintained Excellent Help from Staff making you comfortable on your stay Explaining the Rome giving you full insight on where to go, where to eat, what to visit and how to go about the city. thats the most important thing making a first time visiter comfortable I would like to say a big thanks to Fabrizio his assistant Sonia
Without windows and elevator . First floor is restaurant and listening all night how they're washing dishes((
Great apartment, reasonable price. Lots of help and advice from staff re restaurants, things to see, provided a map, marking where to go etc. Apartment was clean, tidy and comfortable with air conditioning. Organised airport pickup and return. Minutes walk from Vatican - main place for taxis and buses. Thanks to Simone and Fabrizio, for their efforts to give us a perfect stay in Rome. We will not hesitate to return to Borgo Pio 91.
The clean and cozy apartment and the warm hospitality of the staff.
Climbing the three floors to the apartment.
Location of hotel, good staff
Poor wi-fi in room
Fabrizio was the classic Italian host and the entire staff was incredibly friendly! One of them even fixed the broken zipper on our luggage! We showed up before check in time and were greeted promptly. Fabrizio went above and beyond what any regular hotel would do. I would definitely go back and stay there!
The wifi was only available in some areas of the room and not everyone's devices could pick up the signal.
The location is superb and the street cafés up and down the street create a great vibe. When they are around, the staff are very helpful, including moving our room after we had too many problems with the first one. Only take the non street facing room on the lowest floor (first floor) if you are a heavy sleeper as there is significant noise from other rooms and from a nearby restaurant kitchen. There are upfront about the stairs, so they weren't an issue for us.
The shower head was broken, the drainage was blocked and on the final night we had no hot water. Wifi poor in lower rooms and mostly ok in upper room. Reception not open daily so an issue. We requested a non smoking room but smokers had stayed before us and the room smelt terrible. One room did not have kitchen cleaning items which was an issue as some of the kitchen cups and crockery were dirty. Great to have a washing machine but no drying stand provided in either room. Air con noisy in one room and stopped working in the other; not good on hot summers night. It was quite hard to find, be aware that Italian street numbers do not follow odd/ even conventions!
The location was great... just minutes away (walking) from Vatican City. The staff (Simona) was also very friendly and helpful. Over all, the room was spacious and comfortable. The environment at night was nice a quiet. Lots of restaurants and a small grocery store was very close by.
The shower was small by American standards, but probably typical for Italian standards.
Dear Fabrizzio and Simona, my sinceку thanks to you for my wonderful accomodation in Rome! Dear friends who are planning the trip to Rome. I would absolutely recommend this guest house. The 1st, the 2nd and the 3rd important pluses of this place is its' location. You would get to the Vatican museum in 2 minutes, because the building located right in the heart of the gorgeous capital of Italy. Another one (exactly two) are the hosts. Friendly and involved in your vacation they would do the best to make you holidays unforgettable. Seniora Simona (who is also a very beautiful and friendly italian girl with perfect english) will explain you where to go for sightseeng and how to avoid touristic restaurants to get the best Italian cusine. Generally, there are variety of rooms and apartments, and depends on length of your stay and the preferences you can decide would it be a cosy single or luxury apartment. Wish you the pleasant stay in Rome! Thank you, Borgo Pio 91!
staff are great, and has been very helpful and friendly; we had the two connected room at borgo pio 91which just one minute away from vatican; downstair is a street with lots small restaurant.
It has no kitchen which was inclusive based on its description, they should make the description more specific to each apartment they have; two rooms has no proper sitting area, but one chair besides the window; its bathroom celling has mould on it; the second bedroom has a low beam (about 1.3m high from the floor) just above the bedhead. My friend hit it a few times during our stay. Again their staff were very good, but I believe further improvement on its facility is needed.
The fact that it is very close to the Vatican and restaurants next door and across the street. Also the rooms are surprisingly big and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and accomodating.
Unfortunately there is no elevator.
Simple, what you need and good design. Very good location.
Very friendly welcome on arrival. Comfortable beds and lots of room for our family of 4. Great location and atmosphere. We had a great time. Thank you
The location was close to the Vatican and above some outdoor restaurants and I heard Italian voices and accordion music which made really added to the ambience. Nice furnishings in apartment. Cleaning service was excellent! Office people are welcoming. Give some snacks in apartment.
shower water temperature took some time to warm up, but just run sink faucet first to warm up, turn knob to the right to warm. warm water runs out, but came right back and I took showers at times when most probably did not take showers so it work just fine for me. Not really a problem when you consider everything else and how nice it is. A very lovely place. I also hit my head into the wall in second room over bed but then again I am clumsy
The stuff is extremly helpful and friendly :-) Rooms are very clean and in a nice condition, superb location. Our stay there was just perfect! We LOVED it! I am telling this with a 15 years of experience in tourism.
Everything. Fabrizio is just amazing - check out his restaurant recommendations.
