We used our hotel as the base for a number of day trips in southeast Tuscany and it provided easy access for Cortona, Arrezzo, Perugia, and other Tuscan villages. Borgo il Melone is a very comfortable hotel with a good breakfast, and the restaurant was excellent. The rooms are not sound-proof enough. |

I enjoyed the country-like setting of this hotel, with its generous acreage and fruit trees. The room was large and clean, the staff very attentive and helpful, and we enjoyed the delicious continental breakfast, too. |

The hotel was easy to find from signs on the main roads. The rooms were nice and clean and the grounds were gorgeous. The pool was beautiful and had a lifeguard, changing rooms, showers and towels. They had a washer and dryer for guests use at no charge. Breakfast was nice - good variety of food items. We would have stayed longer if we could have and would certainly refer others. |

The grounds were beautiful and I liked the authentic but well kept feel. Would have liked more and softer pillows, a comfortable chair and footrest in the room in which to sit and read, would have like in room coffee maker and coffee, would like to have diet soda available in the mini bar would have liked to have a place to exercise since running was too dangerous on the busy road, a list of restaurant options in Cortona and the surrounding area. |

The room, buildings, gardens, swimming pool, space, ease of parking breakfast and some of the staff. There is a general lack of atmosphere around the place. In particular, the terrace for summer dining is soulless. The tables and chairs are not comfortable, they are arranged in straight lines and there are no flowers or vines. Only stone. |

The staff were friendly/attentive/engaged in getting us to the location and checked-in. The on-site restaurant is gourmet-quality! A cheery attendant welcomed us to breakfast and maintained a very nice cold-breakfast buffet. The apartment-style lodging was spacious and very clean...not a fingerprint anywhere. The grounds are meticulously maintained...herbs and spices line the driveways. |

Myself and my family loved every aspect of the hotel! The hotel staff were wonderful and so helpful with everything. The countryside was beautiful, food was delicious and apartments were spacious, clean and gorgeous. Loved every part of our stay. |

Zimmer/Bad/Hotel/Pool/Gesamtanlage/Frühstück/Parkp- latz top und alles sehr sauber. Restauranttipp in Cortona (La Logetta / Piazza di Pescheria) war sehr gut/romantischer Blick auf Hauptplatz. Bessere Infos zu Hotel und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Duschwand im Bad erfüllt leider nicht die Funktion (halbes Bad nach dem Duschen unter Wasser!). Einfahrt zu Hotel besser beschildern. |

Pool ist absolut klasse !!! Schön groß und warm ! Und der Blick auf Cortona. Etwas laut, da sehr nahe an einer Straße. Restaurant ist nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen, da gibt es in Cortona direkt bessere und günstigere Restaurants (Trattoria del Theatro kann ich nur empfehlen...man fühlt sich fast wie bei Amelie). |

Die gute Lage, um in Tagesausflügen ( Auto ) die schönsten Teile der Toscana zu besuchen.Sehr sauber, sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Schwimmbad.Schöne Gartenanlage.Die relative Nähe zur Landstrasse stört nicht. Das dem Hotel angeschlossene Restaurant ist nur eingeschränkt zu empfehlen.Preis/Leistungsverhältnis überzeugt nicht, Qualität des Essens eher schwach. Frühstück gut bis sehr gut. |

Erg mooi gelegen borgo omringd door mooie tuinen. Mooie appartementen van bijna alles voorzien (behalve een airco!). Ook de hotelkamers zijn erg netjes. Erg vriendelijk personeel, die veel voor je willen doen. Mooi en schoon zwembad. Wij vonden het erg onprettig dat er in de appartenmenten geen airco aanwezig was. Het werd erg warm in de appartementen, wat voor onze baby van 10 maanden niet erg prettig was. We zijn verhuisd naar een hotelkamer met airco. |

La gentillesse du personnel, le sourire de la jeune serveuse au petit déjeuner qui peut être pris dans le jardin près des citronniers, la courtoisie du responsable de la piscine qui parle très bien français. La localisation, la restructuration admirable du borgo. Le concert de musique classique chaque lundi suivie d'une dégustation de vin qui permet de côtoyer des habitants italiens et surtout étrangers amoureux du borgo Un peu déçus par le dîner gastronomique typiquement toscan qui a suivi la mini dégustation de vin |

Het was een sfeervol hotel in een schitterende omgeving. Goed gelegen voor een aantal uitstappen in Toscane en Umbrie. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Uitstekend restaurant. Een 9,5 geef je omdat er altijd iets beter kan maar voor mij was alles perfect; dus 10/10 |
