The hotel is friendly and very well postioned within the city. It is very close to all the main sites (which is numerious) and only a short walk from the main train station. We have stayed here before due mainy to its location. The inclusive breakfast is below average |

The location of this hotel was good, just a short walk from the metro only 10mins to termini. Our room was dirty, so much dust and fluff under the bed, no bath plug which was a real problem as it was essential that we used the bath on medical ground. The porter searched the hotel but to no avail! No TV or radio which proved very dirricult as my companion was a 10yr old! Breakfast was megre with no hot food. |

I liked the location of the hotel, but cannot say anything else to recommend it to others The rooms were very poor quality. One room in particular had such a small bathroom that it was an effort to get into the shower. Additionally when we asked to move to another room, we were told that we had booked one large room with bath and one small room. In fact we had booked two rooms, paid the same price for both and had never been advised of any differential. The hotel has no facilities other than a small breakfast bar. |

The location of the hotel. It was between the Termini and Cavour metro stations. The furniture was old and in bad condition. The bed was awful too. |

Breakfast was pretty good. The front desk was not as helpful as they could be. Also, would not allow check-in before 2pm. |

It was perfectly situated to be able to walk to all the sights of Rome. The room was very small, but for the money, adequate. |

Excellent location within walking distance of downtown areas and Collosiem. Nice rooftop dining area. We would stay there again. Very noisy on front of building due to traffic and a # of bars nearby. There are a double set of shutters which block a great deal of the noise but prevents you from sleeping with an open window. When we arrived they didn't have our room available so they upgraded us for the 1st night to a suite which was nice but required us to move to another room on the 2nd night which I have not experienced before. It was a bit of a nuisance as it really prevented us from unpacking. |

I liked the location of Borromeo and the friendliness of the staff. It is a nice central hotel. This isn't a complaint because we really like the hotel and have recommended it to friends several times now but he bathroom could be improved. The shower curtain needs to be replaced. The toilet didn't flush very well - three to four tries each time to clear waste. The mirror hadn't been polished in ages - had a film of dust. The sink tap needs a washer - water squirting over the unit. Because it's an upmarket hotel - tea and coffee facilities in the room would be nice. |

The location to public transportation was good but in a borderline seedy area. Size of twin bedds was small and the shower was poor at best. |

The location is great for a sightseeing weekend but the reception staff are not very attentive and the hotel does feel a little claustrophobic (the bellboy was extremely friendly and helpful though). The poorest breakfast this side of the Ganges - and they actually expected a tip!... my tip for them is "sort your breakfast out"... |

The location, lots of restaurants and cafeterias nearby as well as Cavour bus and subway station. Breakfast was very nice though no view from roof top restaurant. Noisy street just outside hotel. Hotel was undergoing reconstruction during our stay, quite noisy and dusty. But still good value for money. |

Good location, friendly staff, and clean rooms with ok space. Breakfast seating was a nice location on the roof. Good for the price. Shower pressure was great, almost too much. Clean towels every day. Close to the train station. Try the food at Mario's across from the Roman Forum on a little side street near Hotel Forum and Hotel Forum. Best meal in Rome. The breakfast was poor. The meat looked unappetizing and the cheese was suspect. Only saving grace was yogurt and granola. |

Staff was excellent and courteous. Spoke English which was key becasue my italian was limited There was a rumbling of a subway every once in awhile. I was on the 1st floor so this might be alleviated by requesting a higher room |

Better breakfast. Just standard for such type of hotel. Current is very basic. I don't know how is in Italy, but I'v been in similar hotels in Germany, France and other countries and there is significant difference from the breakfast in Borromeo |
