눉The first time we visited this hotel, we were in the main building which has large rooms, beautifully decorated with antique furniture. This time we were put in the annex, which is bog-standard 3* hotel quality, small rooms with furniture and equipment that has seen "better days". After the first night we were moved to the main building which was nicer. However many things could be improved. At breakfast, most of the dishes on offer were empty and not refilled without persistently asking the waiter. e.g. No meat, no cheese, no bread rolls, no bacon, no eggs, no milk, no salad, no fruit. No point in having a buffet breakfast if there is an empty buffet. The rooms are in need of some maintenance with showers not working/doors hanging off, fridges not cold, beds broken etc. Worst of all we had an easy chair in one room, light beige fabric, which was covered in stains.
눇Second visit to this hotel. It is a marvelous characterful hotel but does not quite live-up to its 4* status.
