Perfect location (very close to Santa Lucia train station,Grand Canal and vapuretto fermata) and room facilities. Our room was a recently restorated one, very clean, comfortable, good and spacy (with respect to the ones in Italy) bathroom. No canal view in every room but anyway, we spent all our time outside. All the rooms yet to be restorated (as far as I know?) |

Enjoyed the hotel, nice. Staff at front desk could have been a little more friendlier upon check in to international guest. Upon check out, we were in a hurry and no one was at desk, we had to go look for someone, found a housekeeper and maintenance man who both searched high and low, finally found him out on the street. Needed early morning coffee in rooms or something open! Perhaps before 6am----?? |

The hotel was situated in a good location and the staff were friendly and welcoming The breakfast in the hotel was very poor standard compared to other hotels we have visited in Europe and we thought the cost was very high for what we considered a basic hotel |

Location is superior, just 100 meters from the train station and across from all boats. Giuliano the bartender is a huge credit to this hotel. Front desk staff often dismissive. Air conditioning was non-existent during an insufferable heat wave, and all guests were complaining of no internet access (including me). |

I liked the friendlyness at the reception desk, and the excellent manners of the chambermaid. The breakfast buffet was rather poor. Everyday there was something short. One day it is the tomatoes, the following day it is the rolls, and then the salami. |

The hotel was clean and efficiant service from the staff, the location is very good to find being about 5minutes walk from the bus teminus. The breakfast was poor for the quality of the hotel, the breakfast had everything but was minimal (orange juice from a machine also the coffee) the cooked breakfast was scrambled eggs and very lightly cooked bacon!! |

it was within walking distance of train station bus station and all the sights we wanted to see they advertised air condition but this was not working and so the room was very hot could not open the window as there was midgets about and we got some bites and this was 1 april 09 |

hotel reception, bar staff, all had good sense of humour, so polite and helpful, brilliant location, cleanliness, breakfast, excellent hotel. Would book again if in Venice. I like to complain if things are not right - but cant think of anything that wasnt good. Excellent holiday. |

Reception staff friendly and helpful. Hotel in a good location for our trip to Venice. For the breakfast there should be a meet and greet from a member of staff. So you don't walk in wondering what to do. |

Very welcoming & helpful staff, clean room, great location on the Grand Canal and close enough to the train station and bus station for easy arrival/departure without need for water taxi/vaporetto. Room was slightly noisy next to the lift. Although lavishly decorated it was quite dark and on more than one occasion the chambermaid walked in unannounced while we were getting ready. Breakfast options were rather limited for a hotel of this stature. |
