Boscolo Bellini is set in a historic building in Cannareggio area, a 2-minute walk from Santa Lucia Train Station and near Piazzale Roma. Rooms are elegant, in the classic style of Venice. Each room is spacious and features air conditioning, a private bathroom with bathtub or shower, and a minibar. Some rooms offer an enchanting view of the Grand Canal. Located in a former noble residence, the Boscolo Bellini is open since the early 19th century. The hall comes with antique marbles and a magnificent Murano glass chandelier. The hotel also has sitting rooms and a small delightful garden. Breakfast buffet is served in a bright dining room. Meals can also be arranged for small groups. Hotel Rooms: 97, Hotel Chain: Boscolo First Class Hotels.

The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. We arrived in the midst of a crisis with the hotel having a burst boiler. We were taken to the 5 star Boscolo Dei Dogi for the first night and returned to the Bellini the next day without hassle. The rooms were clean and reasonably sized for Venice. Breakfast was good. Best of all is that the hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from Santa Lucia Station right in the heart of the Cannaregio district which has less expensive restaurants and shopping than the San Marco. Also San Marco is only a 20-25 minute walk away.

We are in a honeymoon and we only stayed at the hotel for one (1) day because there was a fire in the hotel and we have moved in another hotel outside Venice. The fire alarms that didnt work to inform the people about the fire.

The Hotel Staff were wonderful. The Air Conditioning in our Room in Venice was not working but the Hotel staff switched us to another room that was much Cooler. However, the shower head was full of "Mold" and another light needed to be be replaced. The most important thing is whatever went wrong the hotel staff fixed it. They made our stay very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

The location was excellent as were our accommodations. We had a problem with the first room they gave us, but the staff responded immediately and switched us to an even better room. The breakfast bacon was not cooked to our liking--we prefer "crispy" bacon, not "raw" bacon.

Friendly, helpful staff. Had a lovely large room overlooking the Grand Canal. Close proximity to the station and also easy to walk to all the main attractions in Venice. Also convenient for getting to the cruise terminals without having to spend a fortune on a private water taxi.

Very convenient right beside the train station but quiet. Nice room. Good staff. No WiFi! Said to be there and wasn'T. Saidto be connected the next week. Not too much of a problem as Venice run a citywide service for 8 euroes a day so as long as one is near a hotspot, that works.

Very nice room and not a bad location. Rather expensive, especially for food that was less than average quality. It was a "wanna be" luxury hotel that didn't make it from the dining to the bellhops.

Proximity to the railway station Dreadful breakfast with orange squash instead of juice always an enigma to me in countries with plentiful fresh fruit, tea and coffee from machine was undrinkable.

The location was excellent, morning breakfast was good but next time in Venice I'll skip including breakfast. Liked staying close to the train station, easy with luggage. the 15 min walk from San Marco square meant we always had a nice walk after dining. If one doesn't want to walk, the water taxi stop is just outside the front door of the hotel. we stayed in early December, our room was hot due to the heat generated from other rooms. We had ours off, opened the windows which was wonderful except for the mosquitoes that then bit us while we slept. I doubt much can be done about the heating inconsistencies in such an older building

The location of the hotel within walking distance from Piazzale Roma bus terminal and the the train station is excellent and convenient. Although we visited in December, room air condition was too hot and could not control from room. At least, we could open the window!

The hotel was sited close to the station and the Piaazzale Roma where the Airport Bus drops off, however, it's a long walk to Piazza San Marco. The room we were given was large, clean and the outside veranda was very nice. Breakfast was the standard buffet service with a hot scrambled eggs and bacon option which was ok, however, there was a limited fruit selection. The reception desk was very busy and there was a long wait time for service, the hotel would benefit from a concierge service. The only internet connection was in the hotel bar. Housekeeping did not check our room very well as there was no tv remote or safe. We were given a safe, however, it was easy to pick up and anyone could have taken it.

Location and friendliness of staff...we asked to move rooms because of noise and they accomodated us . The hotel was less than one block from train station. Also breakfast was very nice and included in room rate. First room was on alley and it was very noisy.....once we moved, the noise was no longer an issue.

It was a beautiful older hotel with clean modern rooms and baths. It had an excellent location in Venice, just a short walk from the bus station and near the vaparetto station and bridge. It also serves a delicious breakfast in a beautiful setting.

The hotel has become really fabulous after the renovation of the rooms. The new clean style decoration has made the rooms extremely comfortable and cozy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit the marvellous Venice.

The initial room was two story with the bathroom on the lower story. The upper area (location of bed) was very dark with a low ceiling. The need to be able to go downstairs to use the restroom at night would have been a major issue due to problems with my equilibrium. The staff changed the room when we asked. The original room was totally unacceptable, however the new room was fine. Although we had prepaid the room we would have been forced to move to another hotel if staff had not been willing to change the room. The initial room assigned was totally unacceptable and would not have met the description for a superior room as described in your website. I would only recommend with a caution to ensure they were not given the two level room.

It is both elegant and comfortable a rare combination today since more period style architecture tends towards the overdone. Even though close to the main train station, therefore, near the hub of the city, it was very quiet. A well appointed hotel.

Well positioned and comfortable. Very expensive. The plug in the bathroom sink did not work neither did the telephone. I reported both but neither were mended during my stay. The coffee in the breakfast area was out of a machine and tasted so. Staff Could well have made tea and coffee.

Convience. It was very close to a water taxi stand and the water bus.Lots of eateries and shops around. Also close to the bus station and train station. It was a quaint, kind of old fashioned hotel. We had a room at the back of the hotel (my request) with a court yard close, which was lovely if only the weather was warmer. I saw lots of people pulling their cases for long distances to get to their hotel, so was very glad for my choice. At 76Euro a night, it was very reasonable for such a location. No land access. No heating the first night
