Hotel Majestic Roma is set right on the world-famous Via Veneto street. It features elegant and spacious rooms, a gourmet restaurant with terrace overlooking the street, and a fitness center.
Score from 505 reviews Very good
It is a historic building..middle of Rome..next to the metro station..10 minute walk to the collisium..next to everything ..amazing lobby..comfortable and tidy rooms.
Very central and near Termini. It is also within walking distance to a few Chinese restaurents which is very good for us. The staffs are great and polite. We will stay in this hotel again the next time in Roma.
Just a bit pricey.
The room size, cleaness, breakfast and location
The room view was to the service courtyard and noisy if kept window open. But I assume this is will be the case of all hotel in such a historic city, there are very few rooms with good views.
Wonderful experience great service large comfortable rooms nothing to complain about
all of our needs were met down to the smallest requirement. The rooms were cleaned daily and the shower was hot and toiletries were lovely. easy access to visit all tourist locations - reception and front of hotel staff were so helpful. we cannot wait to return!!
cannot fault the hotel in any way.
Everything was perfect. We had an upgrade to a Junior Suite: Great! Location, staff, breakfast, room, facilities, all was wonderful. Highly recommended, I am sure we will be back.
Wi-fi a bit slow, but not a major issue...
The room was very nice.
I expected more from the beds
We thought the hotel was beautiful and our room was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the decor was extremely well done.
Most of the people that worked there looked very unhappy. They looked miserable, and we both felt uncomfortable around them. There was one man that worked in the lobby that actually looked my husband up and down (granted he was dressed casually, but we were site seeing), and he stared me down. He was actually very scary. When you are paying the rates of the Boscolo Hotel, you would think the staff would go out of the way to make you feel welcome. They didn't; does that come from the top?? The only people that seemed somewhat nice was the front desk. When I checked out, Massimiliano was very nice. So, we will never come back to this hotel. I'm sure there are other 5 star hotels that would like to have our business.
Style and facilities are top notch. Location is pretty good (close to the train terminal, but that also means "close to the train terminal...").
Staff wasn't what you'd expect from a five star, and the amenities were decent, but nothing to write home about (pool is small, no business center). The rooftop bar is a joke.
Comfortable room, easy access to the metro. Staff are friendly and polite. Very good choice of foods for breakfast.
No tea or coffe making facility in the room. The breakfast room can get very busy and waiters can take some time to attend to your order.
Very poor serves
the building was amazing as well as the staff and cleaness
the massage center
I sent 4 emails that never got answered and despite being assured that my request for petals on the bed and a message from the parents of newly married couple. .neither happened. .very very disappointed! You only get married once!!!
I arrived 8 am they gave me early check-in with no extra charge. the hotel location is great, next to all tourist buses, close to all main area of interest in Rome.
We liked that there is free wifi and it is very clean.
Nothing that we did not like
very kind receptionists
I didn't like the manager of the restaurant lazio because he was impolite after I ask him to have some pistachio with the glass of whisky he told me that in all the restaurants in the world no body ask for pistachio with the drink and for his information I told him that I am 67 years old and have been all over the world and no body told me as client in the hotel that no pistachio can be served with a glass of wisky. Sorry but this is very very bad for the hotel management which I appreciate.
-breakfast was exelent -room was very good -location : The Best
-there is old saying- newer underestemate a clian by the look, every cliant is boss, whit these stars.
within walking distance of the train station - staff was friendly and very helpful hotel furnishings were nice
pool area just OK - the picture shows lounge chairs right by the pool but they are actually around the corner
Beautiful hotel, stunning large rooms (we stayed in a Deluxe which felt more like a suite). Beautiful high ceilings, bathroom well stocked with power hair dryer. Republica metro station right outside - also great location to walk to other city highlights (coloseum around 25min walk or 5min metro hop, trevi fountain 20min walk). Breakfast great - a la carte or ample to choose from buffet style. Fantastic free wifi. Highly recommended. Friendly staff.
The coffee shop downstairs ridiculously overpriced (6€ for a coffee / diet coke) - total rip off. Didn't eat at any of the restaurants other than breakfast which was included as seemed way too overpriced.
Saturday night, we checked in at 10:00 PM and asked for an iron since I needed to iron my shirt for a important dinner we had. Answer from the staff, sorry we don't have anyone available and I can do NOTHING for you. And it was said with a completely lack of empathy. Next day I asked for a late checked out ( I didn't ask rot for free ) and the answer was, it is impossible you MUST leave at noon, sorry... Really it is not the treatment I was expecting from this hotel and, by the way, it is the fifth time I was there in the las 12 months...
The metro is virtually next door. The doormen are friendly and knowledgeable as are the hotel staff generally.Getting a taxi from this location is very easy. Beautiful suite style accommodation.
Breakfast was included in our price but a booking I made later for my son and his girlfriend did not include breakfast. I think €34.00 per person each day is a bit over the top especially when it is almost impossible to get a decent cup of tea! We don't all want coffee! Bring your own tea bags as you need about three of theirs to make one cup and ask for a JUG of milk. Each morning I got a teapot of hot water and no milk (or lemon) and had to ask and wait for milk which usually came in a glass. Impossible to pour into my tea without spilling. This a just a small thing but at this price I didn't expect to explain myself every morning! Everything else was great and this little annoyance did not spoil my stay. Lovely hotel, beautiful city.
We had a lovely room. It was large and comfortable n very quiet. The staff were always helpful and accommodating especially in the restaurant on the ground floor.
Large, quiet room, beautifully decorated. Big comfy bed.
The service in the champagne bar was exceptionally slow even by Roman standards.
It was in a good location and easy to access the sites and metro
Staff could have been friendlier especially the reception staff. I felt it was not a 5 star hotel due to lack of facilities and what you had to pay extra for.
