Hotel Botticelli  

Uitstekende ligging dichtbij alle bezienswaardigheden. Hotel heeft een fantastische entree/lounge met 16e eeuwse bogen. Het ontbijt is prima.

Zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Een uitstekende uitvalbasis om de stad te verkenen. Alles op loopafstand.

Het ontbijt kan wel wat aan verbeterd worden. Nogal povertjes en eentonig. Matige broodjes en een eitje bij het ontbijt had geen overbodige luxe geweest.

1) The location -- near the great central food market, a short stroll from the Duomo, and, really, a reasonable walk to all the major sites of Florence -- is very excellent. Especially for the price (considering that Florence is an expensive city for decent accommodations). 2) The hotel staff is excellent. Everyone we dealt with at the desk was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and has good English. 3) Considering that Florence has a lot of accommodations with tiny yet expensive rooms, the Botticelli is excellent value. The rooms are not large, but they are not claustrophobic either. If you have stayed in some of the shoe box rooms in Paris, you know what I mean. 4) There is central air conditioning, with individual room controls. Unlike quite a few hotels in Italy, it works, it maintains a decent temperature throughout the day (and we were there during an unexpected September heat wave), and it's quiet.

Great location

We stayed with a 7 month old baby. The hotel had a lift, but we then had to negotiate stairs with baby, pram, suitcases, etc as well to arrive at our room on the third floor.Quite expensive for a three star, average hotel!

The staff was excellent. They answered any and all of our questions. Very pleasant. The hotel is perfectly located to easily walk to any location or shopping in the city.

Our room on the first floor, street-side, was a little noisy in the early morning, 5-6am or so, due to street cleaning and other trucks. Later in the week we stayed in other rooms, which were very quiet!

The Hotel is clean comfortable and quiet. It is located near the Florence Duomo and the open market.

coffee served at breakfast was not good Room facing any street are noisy in daytime and early morning dust and dirt under beds

The helpful staff and cleanliness. The breakfast was also good.

Wifi was not working

The best thing about he hotel was the staff who were all very friendly and had all the information to hand. Very impressive.

I think the breakfast was far too basic and lacked anything hot. When travelling on a budget you need to make the most of a breakfast that is included in the price and I was disappointed.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuss zu erreichen, auch der Bahnhof. Das Personal ist sehr freundich und hilfsbereit

Das Frühstücksbuffet hat nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprochen
