Fruit selection in the morning could have been better

Just perfect

We were expecting a room with en suite. We got an apartment with sitting room, bedroom and bathroom! The breakfast was varied, delicious and filling. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.It is a beautifully restored old building right in the centro storico.

Nothing really. The street below could be quite noisy until after midnight because it is where most of the restaurants are located. However, for us there was no problem. There is no lift and some of the apartments are on the third floor - a lot of stairs!

Clean spacious apartments (we stayed in family room with two bedrooms) located in the old city close to public parking at Piazza della Cittadella. Really good breakfast.

The building is historic so get ready to bring your luggage upstairs without the lift. There is fully equipped kitchen in the room, but there is a note that to use it to prepare meal you have are to pay 10 euro per meal -- first time saw such condition of kitchen use.

Our family with two kids have stayed in the apartments that are located on Vicolo Pelabrocco 3. It is a very lovely and cosy place! The room was big enough and perfectly suited to all our needs (with a separate bed for our elder child) with an enormous bathroom. The location of the apartments is a very convenient one and in walking distance there are the funicular to Città Alta (the Upper City), pizzeria and the supermarket. Good and rich breakfast! The owners Mrs Sabrina and her daughter Alessandara are very amiable and helpful people and we had a feeling like we were visiting our Italian relatives. Thanks for such high level of service!

The breakfast was very good, Sabrina and her staff are very kind and helpful. Location is perfect and our triple bedroom on the top floor was lovely although my legs got a bit sore with all the stairs!! Definitely well worth it and although I have been to Bergamo many times, I will only be staying at Botton D'Oro in the future. :)

Staff organised a personal transfer from the airport which was cheaper than a taxi. There was a huge selection for breakfast or a great variety. Very accommodating with keys/luggage, etc.

Public parking is nearby. Hotel manager has timely organized the parking authorization for our car for Citta Alta. Ideal location for exploring Bergamo's Old Town on feet.

There wasn't a flat TV/Satellite signal inside the room and we had to come out of the room to watch the regular old one, where there was no signal!!!! We had to spend more than an hour in the area to find the hotel, where no one knew of its existence and when we finally found it, there was no reply by the reception. We had to wait for 20 minutes under the rain for someone to come and open the door of the house for us. Furthermore, we were surprised to find out that there is a check-out limit and we had to leave the room by 11 o' clock in the morning. Plus the room was too small for two persons.

I didn´t care about it, but my studio was 4 floors up by stairs. Maybe others do.

We were only two but booked a flat with two bedrooms. Very much space, table for six in the kitchen and huge bathroom. Good value for money, great beds and wonderful breakfast with lots of choices, homemade cake, jam and good coffee. Perfect location in old town.

No free parking during daytime in the area.

The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The location is excellent. You have all the facilities of a hotal in a very homey structure. We stayed with our kids, they were thrilled (like in a hidden castle to put it in their words). Brilliant.

Breakfast was great, lovely Italian breakfast with fresh brew coffee! Walk out just in the heart of upper city which allow u to rest at anytime in the middle of sight seeing. Nearby is animal museum which attracted our kids for two hours tour. Lovely meat shops with cheap cold cut.

Sympathetically renovated to retain old features with modern facilities, spotless, staff very helpful and friendly, excellent breakfast with homemade goodies and choice of English cooked or traditional Italian. We had a kitchenette with table and sofa and large, comfortable bed, mountain view over roofs from top floor room. 5 minute walk to modern city /airport bus.

Was very helpful to get from the hostess an sms with theaddress of the parking after a notification that we are already close to the appartment address. Very hospitable reception, very nice appartment, perfect location, nice view of the Cathedral of the window, Very good breakfast. We liked everything

There was now lift, but that was not at all a problem for us, we knew about this and took only the most needed for one day. For people coming there for more time and without a car is to take in mind that it would be needed to get to the 4th floor the luggeges.

Expensive, especially additional city tax and "shuttle" to airport (€20) Kitchen without plates and pans Breakfast time is limited; 8.00-9.30 hrs. Breakfast for New Years day was provided day before, but was very poor, plus saved coffee and cookies were taken away after one day. At arrival, we could not go into the building. No reception. After several phone calls and minutes we could get in.

Good location and good apartment. Nice people and breakfast.

Not easy to find... Had to call and wait for owner to arrive.
