Score from 15 reviews Exceptional
It is an older style of an Italian hotel. Spotless and on the 4th floor of a very large building. Public trans is very convenient. Staff could not have been nicer and the breakfast is good.
On a very busy square… a little noisy.
Stylish suite just 50m away from university metro station, very clean and comfortable. Nice cappuccino at breakfast.
1. location, location, location. 2. few minutes walk from the square where you take the airbus; hip-on hip-off toursit double decker. 3. centrally located - only few minutes walk to luxurious boutiques, coffee shops, mcdonalds, apple store, fnac and of course the famous la rambla.
1. poor quality of guest room door - every time you need to bang and shut the door. you can imagine how noisy it will be in the morning. 2. can hear other rooms turn on the taps. 3. can hear the underground (i.e. subway) running noise. i lived on 1st floor.
great location for sight seeing breakfast was adequate. cereals pastries yogurts and fruit.
traffic noise but it is a city. was hard to find.
Centre of Naples close to waterfront and shopping and eateries. 15 minute walk from the train station. Look for the statue and the horses tail will point/direct you to the large wooden doors which gives you access to the entry. Difficult to find if you don't not follow the directions closely. This accomodation is value for money.
Attitude of the males on site. The females attempt english but are polite in an Italian way.
Terrible staff, absent when needed, and not professional when present
Very calm & private. 4th floor with the elevator, only 9 rooms. Very stylish. Near the University metro station - must visit!
A little bit difficult to find because of no signs on the building. I suppose they are not allowed.
The design is old-fashioned italian, very cozy but with large areas Very beautiful view and we didn't even hear the traffic
Breakfast is simple and it is difficult to find it (piazza bovio 22, 4th floor with the elevator on the right)
The location is good
- Noise from the street all night long; - Staff does not speak english; - the hotel is very hard to find, staff didn't answer email about parking, what could save us time and stress; - bed and pillows are horrible, put it together with the noise from the street and you will have a terrible night of sleep, as me and my wife had; - furniture is old, uncomfortable, and bathroom equipments are even worse.
The location! Next to the metro, cafes, restaurants & close to the port. Spacious, elegant room with a view of the city. Breakfast was mainly croissants etc but some cereals, fruit & yogurt. Staff made us very welcome.
Air conditioning was a bit erratic
Excellent location and friendly staff.
The breakfast could be better.
The hotel is situated in one of the best locations in Naples (which is really something to be careful about). You can walk alone even at night. It is close to Via Toledo and other places to visit and also right next to bus and metro stations and easily reachable from the port and the train station. A special remark for Salvatore - very kind and helpful, grazie mille!
As others have said, it is quite noisy at night from the traffic in Piazza Bovio.
The hotel is conveniently located in an elegant palace very close to Via Toledo, the port area as well as main amenities in the historical center. Very convenient to access public transportation to the airport. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. Salvatore, at the reception, was very helpful giving us plenty of tips and allowing for a slightly late breakfast, with fresh croissants, real cappuccinos and fruits.
The shower in our room was rather old and could really enjoy a refurbishment. The furnishing of the halls is rather old and kitsch, would be good to opt for something simpler, more up-to-date and fresh.
noisy street side
Nice view to the street.
If your looking for privacy and quite rooms this is not the place. Breakfast was too little variety.
We loved our stay at Bovio Suite! The personel is amazing, the hotel is beautiful and perfectly situated. Rooms are spacious and there is free wifi. We recommend Bovio Suite to everyone who wants to stay in Napoli.
it's a little noisy when people are loud in the hallways
- nice authentic atmosphere - no standardized uniform chain - helpful and welcoming staff
Excellent location, with access to the port and city center Payed only 49 euro / 1 night, for conditions which are almost 4* Great building, a place to see in itself Great staff, welcoming and aware of our arrival, although the reservation had been made on a short notice (3-4 hrs) Nicely decorated room with big windows and a great view of piazza bovio
Nothing to complain about
location was good, room size not too bad, but no storage.
Communication with staff, particularly the doorman was poor. breakfast was poor, nothing else was good.
A small B&B near the port, the historic center and the University metro stop. Very kind staff, always available for questions.
I would prefer a cleaner bathroom as the shower was not draining properly and there were signs of mold on the tiles.
Location was really close to the historical center of the city, which is something really useful, since if you want to visit the town you better try to walk as long as you can, to catch up all the possible places to see. The building is really nice, early '900 structure, tall ceiling and huge marble stairs at the entrance. Staff was perfect and the bedroom had everything you need.
Our bedroom overlooked on Piazza Bovio & Corso Umberto I, so it was quite noisy.
Good location, even if somewhat noisy. Good-sized room.
Minimal room for storage or hanging clothes.
The location was great, very close to Port as well as great view down Umberto and Piazza Bovio. Could've been difficult to find had I not read in other posts to go to the building in which horse's tail was pointing to! There was a private driver that the owner arranged for us to get to the airport at 4:00AM, for 20Euros this was a great deal. He was on time and very helpful. The room was sweet and clean, nice bedding and bathroom.
There were people also staying at Bovio Suite who were up all night. We heard everything: talking, laughing walking around, in and out of doors, we didn't get much sleep. Bovio Suite allows smoking which was bothersome since neither of us smoke and the smoke infiltrated our room. The shower had poor water pressure and either very hot or cold water which made my shower and washing my hair challenging.
The view was great.
staff attitude: generally unfriendly (except the young lady that prepared the check out); noise: the room was on the main street and, in the evening, there was a huge noise: if you book there a room on the internal courtyard is absolutely necessary.
