Hotel Brasil Milan  

The presence of cockroaches in the room killed any positive moments, even a good price. Do not accept cards. Maybe we were not so lucky, but you need to keep that in mind.

- Good connections with the Centrale fs and the Duomo. Bus No.60 Stops next to the hotel and takes you to both places - The staff was quite fair to us. They answered all our questions and left us leave our luggage there for hours before check-in time. Called a cab when needed. - Near 2 of the main shopping streets (Corso Venezia and Buenos Aires). In walking distance to the Duomo (about 2km). - The best aperitivo in town is few block away. look for Blender bar and the apiritivo thing they have all over Milano. - Compared to other similar options, the price is quite OK. 3EU breakfast offers little, but you can not get anywhere anything more with that money - Quite big Carrefour supermarket very near. - I am not sure the room was cleaned every day, but there was someone taking care of our room every day, making the beds, taking the garbage out. - Whenever we needed a towel, paper or whatever, all we needed to do is ask. - If you plan to be out and enjoy Milano all day long, the hotel is perfect. Good balance between price, location and services. - We had our own bathroom, but we noticed that the shared bathroom was free all the time.

- The place is quite ok for young people, especially if you use the hotel only for sleeping. If you plan to spend more time there, might not be the best choise. - It is tricky if you have an early flight, the public transport available is not so near. - The reservation of funds from my credit card is still not canceled 10 days after we paid for the hotel. I asked the staff to make sure this is done, but no change till now, dough the problem might be the bank, not the hotel. - The nearest underground station was not so close, but it was not so much of a problem. Tramps and busses were great. - The elevator was small, for 2 people. Inconvinience, if you are a bigger group, but not so much of a problem.

1) It's not right in the center of Milan, but it is close. In the center, hotels are more expensive. 2) However it's a small hotel, there is always someone in the reception.

1) The bathroom could be cleaner. 2) The locker of the door was hard to open, and on the last night, they lost the key.

beds are really bad. Tv not in good condition. Not many channels available. We had to go out to a bar to catch the game.

Actually, I don't like the hotel

The staff made our beds every day. Location was quite central and for reasonable price. Some of the staff were nice and helpful. There was a shower in our room which was not mentioned in the booking. There were also soaps and clean towels for us to use.

Location of the room was straight next to the reception. This made our mornings very uneasy as other visitors and receptionist woke us up early every morning by making noise next to our door. An older receptionist was sometimes rather arrogant and cold when asking him for advice or help.

Location was fine - 25 minutes walk from Milano Centrale and 20 min walk till Duomo. Don't wait from the hotel too much as it is cheap and very budget but basically it suits for 1 night stay.

Not very clean. Awful smell in the wardrobe, don't put anything in there if you don't want your clothes smell badly. Also we stayed 2 nights and our dirty towels were not changed. Moreover, cleaning lady just picked up dirty wet towels from the floor and put them back on the window. Just disgusting.

The guy from reception is nice.

The hotel is quite far from the towncenter and further from the F. S. station. The room is almost empty and the bed its really old. There was a shower inside the room( no bathroom). No heaters.

The staff there is nice and warmhearted. The location is a little far away from the city center but it is easy to arrive even by walking. Cheap and highly recommended place.

There is only a bathroom but it is very clean.

The lift

When checking in the reception said we had only paid for one night and had to pay for the other two, which was not the case as I had brought my bank statement showing payment for all 3 nights. Plus we asked for a room with twin beds ! ! not suitable for two male travellers.

Location is good (you can walk into the centre in approx 20 mins), good value for money, simple and acceptible, owner had patience with us.

For the price I can't really fault the place.

The only good thing is location and 24h reception. There is a supermarket on the street of the hotel. You can reach the city center by a bus easily. If you will stay only 1-2 nights, it is a good option for price.

Room was dirty and very cold. Beds are not comfortable.

The hotel was nice and very clean. Staff was polite and they provided everything, that we needed in! отель нам понравился. было все, в чем мы нуждались. комнаты и сам отель был очень чистым.

Located in good neighborhood, in a great building. Quite ok for its money.

The hotel was very clean, also, inspite of shared bathroom I was given the perfect room with a privite bathroom and quite large bed(it seems to be for 2 persons). Then, it is excelent, that the reception is open the whole day, I arrived at 11pm, and was attended by receptionist. He gave me a map of Milan totally free,even through the cost of the map was 50cents. In general, a great value for people for shot time trip.

I don like the decoration, but it is very personal point of view. In addition, it should be clearly announced the transport from Milano Centrale Eztazione to this hotel(bus n 60. bus stop Morrone). Nothing more.Surely will come back to this hotel.

staff and facilities in that hostel are out of expectation. What do u expect anymore with that price?

do not have guideline how to take bus/ tram/ metro to famous places.

The only good thing about hotel Brasil is location since you can find transportation by tram or metro (Porta Venezia) to everywhere.

The staff was very rude, the didn't welcome us at all.. Me and my boyfriend arrived earlier and they said go wherever you want till 13:00 when the check in starts even though the room was ready since they didn't have other guests at that time. Further they said that our room will be cleaned every two days, and they didn't do that, i had to go on my own and clean it. I'm not satisfied with this hostel at all , i would never recommend this to anyone.

free wifi, 24h reception, cheap breakfast

noisy room, smell in the room, broken window - low temperature in the room, no cups, cheap breakfast but there was no bread or baguette

Friendly staff, cheap and clean rooms & en-suites, well-located for Stazione Centrale (bus no.60 runs direct to the station from just across the road). A 10-ish minute walk from the metro, and for those on a more flexible budget there is a GREAT restaurant just along the road! Nice area with plenty of trattorias and pasticcerias and shops.

A really minor thing - The lift is a little small and, as the hotel is on the 4th floor, unless you travel very light you will need to use it - we had to send me up and down with luggage and then my Dad either took the stairs or waited for the lift to come back down!

It's location is pretty good - just in city center.

Confortable and cheap, very good location, room was clean and the staff was friendly.

Really confortable and cheap!! We stayed 5 friends in two rooms quite big and cleaned. The weather was cold and rainy but the hotel was really well conditionated. It's a good place to stay few days for visiting the city.

The wi-fi didn't work.
