Aircondition, morgenmad (set I forhold til 9 dage på campingplads I 35 graders varme (I skyggen) og uden den samme luksus)

Badeværelset havde som mange andre hoteller tilkalkede brusehoveder. Tilløb af vand I bruseren var besværlig at regulere korrekt. Det lille køleskab kølede ikke særligt godt.

Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. Breakfast options were varied. Location is perfect and close to the Altrarno - surprisingly quiet Staff was very gracious Wifi is a life saver

One more computer would be nice Guests smoking on the balconies

The staff is excellent, the recommendation of the restaurant is perfect choice to me.

The WIFI coverage in my room is very weak. No full coverage of all room.

This charming place is in a wonderful location on the banks of the Arno river, a very short walk to the Ponte Vecchio and a short walk to the train station. The reception staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful, providing valuable assistance and great advice whenever I asked for it. The facilities are simple but comfortable and very clean and safe. The breakfast was outstanding.

We just left the hotel today morning... Wow, nothing to criticise! The location is great, the hotel has a small balcony with direct view of the ponte vecchio, we even bought something to eat and a bottle of wine, and they allowed us to stay at the balcony, enjoying the view. We had some issues with the airline, as we didn´t get our luggage, and both Martina & Giulia really helped us and cared about us. They are great value staff!!!!!!! We stayed at the historic rome, woww... You feel like living in 1800, great experience!! The only thing, the shower is a little bit small. But not that bad.... Excellent stay!! Really recommend it!!!

I like the Bretagna very much! The staff is friendly and most helpful, making me feel right at home. The location suited my needs perfectly. I will recommend it and hope to stay there again myself someday. Thanks girls. Hope to see you again soon.

Entrance was not very welcoming and the fact that you had to go up two flights to reach reception. Internet photographs made hotel look more glamorous than it was.

We enjoyed our stay at that hotel, with one exception that for the price we paid breakfast cuould be included, apart from that it is a good place to stay in.

I had a fantastic time at the Hotel Bretagna. It is a gorgeous regal building set on the River. The view is scrumptious. The staff were very friendly, vibrant and showed that they were interested in you. The facilities were stylish. The breakfast was delicious and the staff went out of their way to make sure you had a great time. The breakfast room is beautiful and has a painting on the ceiling. It is very close to all the action in Venice so it is very easy to walk around. I have recommended the Hotel Bretagna to all my friends and to anyone else who wants a warm easy stay in Florence. Beware couples, extremely romantic hotel (only for the rooms with the river view)! Don't even dare going to this hotel without getting a river view room. You give a litle more, but believe me it was worth it. The view from the room that was looking in Arno river was absolutely breathtaking. The room had that old Italian glamorous style with the 10 meters high ceiling. The bathroom was very clean. I went with my wife there and we didn't want to leave the room. The staff were the most helpfull we ever saw. All the bookings in museums, taxi calls and everything we asked for was instant and always with a smile. If I ever go to Florence again it will surely be there. We found a very good deal and got the room for 136 per night, which was very good for that place.

Absolutely nothing

The hotel has a great location: overlooking the river, one bridge over from the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery, within close walking distance of the central historical sites, and of incredible shopping. The public spaces of the hotel are also beautiful - high ceilings, frescoes, a part of old, beautiful Florence. The breakfast also has ample choice, and the staff at reception helpful.

The entrance to the hotel is shabby - and one needs to take a lift to the reception. My room was rather small. And, in 5 nights there, my sheets weren't changed, though the towels were, daily.

The staff were extremely friendly and recommended a few excellent places to eat. Very nice decor, makes you feel like you are in an old castle. Excellent location, by the river and in the middle of the city centre.

Ideal location near all the main monuments and museums. Extraordinary friendly and helpfull staff, coming back to the hotel each time felt a bit like coming home.

It Was a bit cold

This is an excellent hotel, great location, friendly and helpful staff, great rooms with spectacular views of Arno and fine breakfast food and service. Highly recommend this hotel for Florence visit. We spent five nights.

Opening doors to get to hotel area on the fourth floor is a little odd, but increases security.
