Excellent location, great and helpful staff. We were upgrated to the junior room with no additional pay. The room faced the river and we enjoyed the magnificent view from the 4th floor. Highly recommend this place!

The locations is very good, very near to the main attraction. The staff is very helpful. The rooms doesn't have any noisy isolation, so it gets very noisy specially if your room is by the stairs.

Hotel is on excellent location, on the river bank of downtown Florence. Hotel is situated in old refurbished buillding with spacious rooms and renovated bathrooms. Special touch is the security code guests need to enter to access the part of the bulding were rooms are situated. Hotel staff has been very extremely helpful and friendly.

Beautiful rooms with high ceiling and chandeliers. The lounge and dining room were also nice with a good selection of food for breakfast. Very friendly staff who were helpful. I would love to come back again :) The heating in the room wasn't functioning properly, it felt a bit cold in the evening.

Location is fantastic, Old building with original features overlooking the Arno, Helpful, polite staff. Nice buffet display for breakfast. But spooled by the foul tasting beverages on offer. Very expensive parking, not clear when you book. Drinks at breakfast from a machine, taste awful. A pity to would have been so much nicer to have had juice on offer and give coffee freshly made from the excellent espresso/Capuchino machine sitting on the bar. The small cost of this generosity would make all the difference.

The staff at the front desk were all amazingly friendly and helpful. They helped us reserve tickets for tours and galleries and did not charge a service fee. The room was not extremely modern, but was still beautifully charming, very quiet, and most importantly, had a clean, modern bathroom with shower. The breakfast (which we opted to decline), seemed a little pricey at 10 euro per person, but the food and coffee in Florence is so expensive that if you are planning to eat a large breakfast it may still be a good value.

The staff, especially Julia and both Martina's were very kind and helpful. I upgraded my room after Julia showed me the single and then the large room (# 35) with a breathtaking view of the Arno and the Ponte Vecchio. It is a five minute walk to the Uffizi Gallery and that has always been one of my "Dream Tours" Botticelli, Titian and Michaelangelo! Thank you so much! Rick Weingart November 11th 2011

Location, friendly staff, good breakfast, calm room The bathroom had been cleaned with something that had a very strong smell. That smell dominated the room. Keeping the window open helped a little bit.

This is a hotel to be recommended for its central location and its very kind and helfpul staff. I would certainly revisit the place. The hotel's location on the second floor, our rather small room (and bed) and the expensive private parking facilities.

The location was very convenient and safe. The staff were helpful and the room large. The bathroom was large and well appoiinted.. Wifi worked well. It proved difficult to get extra pillows. The room was very noisy until about 11.00pm. It sounded like noise from a kitchen but there was also loud music. Breakfast wasn't open till 7.30am and varied depending on what time you ate and what day it was.

The location was perfect! 5 mins walk to the Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi made everything so handy. We booked a room with a view over the river and Ponte Vecchi which was amazing. Breakfast was pretty decent and staff were friendly. Lack of a balcony to sit out over the river (would have been amazing) and the lack of any type of half decent bar but there are so many on your doorstep it made very little difference.

Excellent location! ....And the single room had a double bed and was big enough. It had a new bathroom. the hotel was in the second floor of the building which is not clearly indicated in booking.com. The breakfast was okay, albeit very basic.

Staff were really nice and accommodating. The bathroom was clean, loved the new 5-star shower facilities! Perfect location for visiting the city, only 10 minutes walk from all attractions, we walked everywhere. The room needs updating, some furniture were old and bulky, which took up a lot of space in the room.

Hotel Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially with organising parking for our car. Booked a junior suite for 4 adults. Lovely view over the river but we would expect that a suite stated to be suitable for 4 adults would have two separate sleeping areas. Lack of privacy was a bit awkward. Bathroom facilities were good. Decor of the room was good as it looked as if it had been recently refurbished. . . Location good because we had a river view. Would have been very disappointed not to have the view for the price. Breakast had a good range of choice and well organised. Hotel overpriced for the facilities. Common parts of hotel seemed a bit shabby. Hotel facilities generally basic. Bar was not adequately stocked. Could only supply water or red wine when we were there. Insufficient seating in lounge at the time we were there. Photos of junior suite on web site looked as if there were two separate sleeping areas plus bathroom in the junior suite, which was misleading.

The room was large and comfortable. There was a king bed and two twins, which eas nice with two older children. The air cond worked well and we hjad an excellent view. The location was excexcellent. There was only a tub- no shower. Also by 3 - and we had been gone since 930 - our room was not cleaned. The hotel staff was generally nice although there was one woman at the desk who was very rude. Anoher one was great. I had a terrible time connecting to the wifi, and couldn't get help from stAff. Finally one of them on the second day said to try a capital 'b'. Tht worked but was too late to print our Academmia tour tickets. Tthe staff had refused to look online for me saying they could only print out forwarded emails. It eas frustrating.

it was a surprise to find hotel reception on 2nd floor which was accessed by a small very slow lift. this was not particularly welcoming. The situation improved when we arrived at reception, the receptionists were very efficient pleasant and informative,we expected the room to be a little better as it was described as a junior suite, there was a double bed , a small table and 2 small chairs , there was a great view of the river and of the Ponte Vecchio. The bathroom did have a good sized Jacuzzi and a great shower. The situation was great, the room was very clean. Breakfast was very adequate, run by a charming smiling lady from the Philippines. Having subsequently visited Venice I think it was fair value for money!!!!!!! the entrance, think the photographs are flattering
