good location, 15 minutes to the central train station by walking. only about 5 minutes to the ponte vechio, helpfull staff, clean room, we feel safe in the hotel |

hotel was like a museum, very friendly and helpful staff. hotel was very old, so i advise to visit there as a museum but do not stay. very old and not enough heating in winters. there is no control at the entrance in the hotel. anybody can reach any room in the hotel easily and without permission. our room door is knocked twice at midnight. and we dont know by whom it is knocked! |

Amazing rooms, location, staff- all rooms newly renovated, but still have elegant feel of florence, huge and high ceilings... views overlooking river... lobby and breakfast area very beautiful nothing- unbelievable what you get for the price |

The hotel is at a pretty convenient location- it depends on what you want to do during your trip but I really enjoyed having fast access to both sides of the river. Breakfast was nice. 1 or 2 English TV channels which was nice. |

The view on Ponte Vecchio, the old decoration and the whirlpool. combination of location, (special) rate, atmosphere, facilties was absolutely surprising and joyful. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Great stay. refrigirator was broke and later the left (3nd floor) didn't work. Not a real problem. |

The location of the hotel was great and the staff at the front desk was excellent! The walls were dirty with dead mosquitos, and I woke up with mosquito bites all over my body. The beds and pillows were also very hard and uncomfortable. |

Location is excellent, right on the Arno just down from the the Ponte Vecchio. Hotel has an historic aspect with decor to match. Our room was spacious and comfortable and very clean, as was the very new and extremely clean bathroom. Breakfast was pleasant but the lighting in the delightful dining room could be improved. Staff were very helpful and provided information to assist with good English. |

The location of the hotel was brilliant could see alot of the landmarks from the hotel balcony, we walked everywhere and didn't need to catch any buses or taxis to the landmarks. The male receptionist was very helpful and suggested all the places to visit and eat out at and the recomendations were spot on. The hotel wasn't that clearly visible when walking past and we got confused when we walked in to what appeared to be appartments, as you have to go upstairs to the reception. In the evenings the hotel stairway is quite smelly, think this is becuase of the river (not a fast moving river) and not the cleanliness of the hotel as it was clean. |
