From the moment we were greeted with a complementry drink and biscuit whilst checking in till we checked out our stay at the Britannia Hotel was fantastic. The Hotel is superb, location spot on, a ten minute stroll to the Collesium the Gentleman on reception during check in was most professional, the staff were friendly, the breakfast excellent.WHEN I go back to Rome I shall look no further than the Britannia to stay in. |

on the site it as told that it close to Termini train station, but I got lost. I got some tired and swet. Madalena was very very kin to offer some water. All other staff personnel really polite and kind. The duck on the bath tub and the fish were very nice. Good breakfast. The AC must be dirty inside because I got some allergy... please check. Well noticed when I had waken up, improving along the day. |

Well located, quiet room, good breakfast. Room and bathroom too small for two people, and value poor after price doubled for soccer championship. |

Location, friendly staff, clean, nice interior Little inconviniens: difficult to use toilet, safe-box, there no coffe-maker in dinner room - you must order it every time. |

good breakfast, very friendly and efficient, knowledgable staff, very good location, clean good night's sleep in that it was fairly quiet, bed was large and comfortable. has a home away from home feel, in that it wasn't crazy busy, breakfast was quiet and relaxed. it was an enjoyab water in shower fairly cold in the morning. irish pub across road was noisey the first night, though, once the window is closed it's fine and the rooms are sound proof. it is a small hotel with a small foyer, if one prefers a hotel with a big foyer and swinging doors with somewhere to congregate with friends before starting the day then a bigger hotel may be more appropriate |

There was an aquarium in the room which was charming. The hotel is very close to all of the Roman monuments. The bathroom was little bit obsolete and therefore not perfectly clean. |

The hotel was within walking distance to several of the major tourist attractions and near to one of the stops on the 'Green Line' tour bus. We did find noise at night to be a problem as the hotel is on a side road to a main street. The nearest pub did have music we could hear but never stayed on past 11.00 pm. |

Good location and quiet. Staff helpful and obliging. Remained intact despite the eathquake! Room in which we stayed for a week was less than 4 metres x 4 metres plus bathroom - very compact! Nothing like 4 star quality - 3 at the most. Overpriced by 50%. |

Staff was very helpful. Room was lovely. Shower was wonderful. Breakfast was fantastic. Could not use the air conditioner, so we had to open the window for ventilation and mosquitoes came into the room. |

We booked this hotel for its proximity to Termini station as we were only staying in Rome for one night. It was indeed handy for the train the next day, but what surprised us was that it was close to everything else too. The scale of the maps we had seen of Rome made it look out of the way, but things are much closer by than they seem. We were told it was safe enough but, just as in any big city I suppose, I wouldn't feel too comfortable walking around the area on my own at night. I'd say it's fine, though. There's not many places you would feel comfortable walking around at night on your own these days! |
