Breakfast was excellent, the staff were very helpfull
Perfect place for walking in the real center of Rome. Really friendly stuff with my preferred sense of humor, good continental breakfast, amazing lift with Pink Floyd music (a little more volume please :-). Marco is the best ambasador of hotel and City, and person hard to forget - thank you a lot
good location in a nice part of the city close by to good restaurants. the stuff is very helpful and kind. Breakfast is rich and worth attention
Location and reception efficiency. Perfect stay.
very helpful staff. the room is very clean and cozy. there is a very clean bathtub, you can refresh yourself by a hot bath after a tired trip.location is good, 1station away from train terminal. and scenaries are in walking distance.they prepare very good take away breakfast for early flight guests. excellent!
Basically everything. It is a true palace, I was feeling great during my stay. Comfortable, clean, enough space in the room, good facilities.
Breakfast was good but not exceptional. The shower controls were a unusual, even the staff got tricked and wet himself when he was trying to show me how to get hot water - but in the end he got right and so it was not a problem. Walls could be better isolated, luckily the neighbours did not talk too much.
I splurged on the junior suite room with terrace and was not sorry. The room was large, comfortable and had all the extras you expect, including 3 TVs. Wi-Fi was perfect and the staff was more than helpful. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. After the long flight, I was so glad I picked Hotel Britannia, as it was so comfortable, relaxing and I would not hesitate to go back.
This is not a criticism, but the entrance to the hotel is down a set of stairs (not a problem for me, but maybe for some). There was a slightly gaseous odor in the bathroom after running the bath water, which lingered. I did have a few red bites on my face which I noticed after the third day, so you may want to have a protective pillow cover.
It is a nice place with very friendly staff. Wonderful bathroom. Very nice breakfast and a great location: close to the train station and walking distances of the main sites in Rome.
The room was very beautiful but a small for two people.
breakfast service, general atmosphere, bathroom
size of room
Great location. Lovely british atmosphere
size of room & (lack of) view
Location and the helpful staff.
Britannia is the epitome of a small, upscale, boutique Roman hotel. While there are downsides-----See below----they are really unimportant compared to the overall experience.
Neighborhood a little tacky---rooms a little small. Not really important to me
I liked the location most of all. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast is good. However, the price is fair.
The rooms are very small. I can judge, according to my standards, a level between 3 and 4 stars.
the hotel is super clean, the staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Very good position
very small room
Close to everything. Very friendly staff, couldn't do enough for us. Great selection for breakfast. Hotel communal areas and bedrooms were very clean. Lovely hotel will definitely stay here again.
Pillows were very hard but after our busy days touring the city we slept regardless.
Vatican Spanish steps Holy steps Di Mary church Rome downtown
I can say that people are un patience in street or shops except our hotel staff was amazing helper
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The hotel is an easy walk from the train station.
Staff is gracious and helpful; the breakfast is lavish. Bathrooms are beautifully appointed.
The rooms are quite small; some more extremely small for two adults.
The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful in every way. The breakfast was outstanding! The location was in walking distance to the train station, sights and great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!
This was my second stay at this hotel and in 3 yrs it has gotten even better. Staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful which is a plus when you travel alone. Hotel has lovely old world feel with all the modern conveniences. Location could not be better as it is just a short walk to Termini station and surrounded by shops, restaurants, etc. Only place I will stay in Rome.
Breakfast buffet was not good at all same food everyday
Cheerful reception. Breakfast is a real feast.
The price, but it is the centre of Caput Mundi.
The breakfast was good . The decore was so beautiful and location was was close to the train station and able to walk to the train station.
The rooms were so small. The bathroom was so small your legs touched the potty when you brushed you teeth. The elevator was so tiny only two people could get in . Some of the staff wasn't to friendly.
Great Location and wonderful friendly helpful staff. Junior suite was roomy with large modern bathroom. Water pressure ok and plenty of hot water
Worst cheap pillows ever in 4 star hotel No alternatives available. Sewage smell very bad at night. Breakfast just okay. Very thin walls but to be expected in central Rome old hotels
Good location, excellent breakfast, good service, parking, plastic duck in the bathroom))
