Starhotels Metropole is in Rome's central Repubblica area, 295 ft from the Opera House. Termini Station, Rome's terminal for metro, buses and trains, is a 5-minute walk away.
Score from 1912 reviews Very good
In a 19th-century building, the Quirinale is a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. This historic hotel is connected to Rome Opera House through a passageway in its leafy courtyard.
Score from 3661 reviews Very good
Located just 110 yards from Termini Train Station UNA Hotel Roma offers contemporary design and bright interiors, plus a private parking garage and air-conditioned rooms with hardwood floors.
Score from 1359 reviews Excellent
The Twentyone is a modern boutique hotel on Via Cola di Rienzo, one of Rome's best shopping streets. Castel Sant'Angelo and the historic center are just a pleasant 10-minute walk away.
Score from 1400 reviews Very good
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The hotel is an easy walk from the train station.
Staff is gracious and helpful; the breakfast is lavish. Bathrooms are beautifully appointed.
The rooms are quite small; some more extremely small for two adults.
The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful in every way. The breakfast was outstanding! The location was in walking distance to the train station, sights and great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!
This was my second stay at this hotel and in 3 yrs it has gotten even better. Staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful which is a plus when you travel alone. Hotel has lovely old world feel with all the modern conveniences. Location could not be better as it is just a short walk to Termini station and surrounded by shops, restaurants, etc. Only place I will stay in Rome.
Breakfast buffet was not good at all same food everyday
Cheerful reception. Breakfast is a real feast.
The price, but it is the centre of Caput Mundi.
The breakfast was good . The decore was so beautiful and location was was close to the train station and able to walk to the train station.
The rooms were so small. The bathroom was so small your legs touched the potty when you brushed you teeth. The elevator was so tiny only two people could get in . Some of the staff wasn't to friendly.
Great Location and wonderful friendly helpful staff. Junior suite was roomy with large modern bathroom. Water pressure ok and plenty of hot water
Worst cheap pillows ever in 4 star hotel No alternatives available. Sewage smell very bad at night. Breakfast just okay. Very thin walls but to be expected in central Rome old hotels
Good location, excellent breakfast, good service, parking, plastic duck in the bathroom))
location, the satff
the bedroom are very small, old decorated, and the wifi works sometimes but is so slow that you can't work.
This hotel was in easy walking distance to the Trevino fountain the Spanish Steppes and, if you don't mind walking a bit further, the Collosium. An English breakfast was available alongside the continental breakfast. The air conditioning was a must and it wasn't noisy.
The fried eggs......they were like rubber, but, the scrambled and boiled eggs were fine.
- wonderful breakfast - nice location
- small and stuffy room on the 1st floor - of course due to the space limitations in the city it may seem to be OK, but in such case that is not the best value for money
The Britannia Hotel provided a truly delightful experience. The decor was lovely, the breakfast was delicious, and the Hotel had great wi-fi. The entire staff was helpful, courteous, and well-informed. They treated you as part of the family and did everything to assist you. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend the hotel to other travelers.
The hotel tried to cheat us as we reached hotel for our check-in. We were informed that they do not have room in the hotel and they have accommodated us to a nearby hotel. We had an argument and had to threatened them that either we call the police or they refund our money. They were not ready to refund the money. As we were to call the police, the hotel agreed to give us the room.
Location was good Staff was welcoming Excellent breakfast, good variety Small enough a hotel to feel personal Good fast wi-fi
Hotel's decor and internal finishes are outdated and need an upgrade. We had a room with large bed and single bed, with baby cot, which was really cramped. Room was quite small for a 3 person room.Although the room had all the amenities and luxuries you would expect, it was really very old. Suppose the fact that it's old contributed a bit of an old world charm to the hotel though. Their lift is the smallest lift I have ever seen in my life (4persons max).
The location is ok, Marco from the front desk is fantastic!
The room is extremely small, less than 10m2 for a triple room, while the booking.com mentioned it is a 25m2. We are 3 adults with a baby, there is even no room for fitting in the crib. Only the last day Marco helps us to change to a slightly bigger room which has all the beds for 4 of us.
Location is excellent. Good balcony and good sized room.
On arrival at the hotel there was nobody available to help us get our luggage down some quite step stairs to reception. On arrival in our room we had to ask to get some fine glass shards left on the bathroom floor cleaned up. Very small lift and small breakfast/coffee area. Staff where helpful once you made clear what you wanted but for the price I would expect high service not reluctant service.
Complimentary bottle of prosecco on the first night :-) Excellent location - close to main railway station; all the main city centre sights were within walking distance; on a side street with good sound proofed rooms so slept very well. Great breakfast! Excellent little bar nearby!
Everything The balcony was great Location was excellent
Staff, clean, nice location, service and comfort!! Recommend it to everyone!
Nothing! Just far away from airport around 30m
Convenient location - close to metro and buses - friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast buffet. Complimentary mini bar and wifi in room were a nice touch. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
8 min from Termini station, 10 min to main sights/shopping. Personnel is very helpful and friendly.
Classic double room is tiny maybe around 8m2. WiFi is really poor but it's common in Italy.
Reception staff could not have been more helpful, breakfast was good and lots of choice,(scrambled eggs were the best i have ever tasted !)
Bed was not the most comfy but adequate.
The front desk lady - feel discriminated while asking for help. She was so nice while answering questions to the UK couple ahead of me, wow... I thought I would meet an angel. But when it came to my turn, her face all of sudden changed to a cold one, and she was very impatient in answering my questions. Felt Chinese are not welcomed.
Great breakfast Location Television Great bathroom Free mini bar
