Bath room was not as clean as some
The completely plush, luxurious hotel will treat you like a millionaire without having to be one. The room is huge with all the amenities, slippers, linen throw for your feet on the floor, marble bathroom and bidet. The location was in the middle of the chocolate festival but with the window closed not a peep of noise got through. The bed is comfortable, the people delightful. Bring your bathing suit! The -3rd floor underground pool is a site to experience. We soaked in the pool, sweated in the sauna and slurped up the chocolate at the festival. Will come back here anytime and stay again! Recommend "La Taverna" for a perfect dinner.
Rooms were quiet and very comfortable with great linens, towels and bathrobes. Loved the views and location. Would highly recommend as a base for the local area.
Clean. Good service. Location. Big room (the one we had as middle of the selection and town view). Views (from the patio down the hall). Best in the area (relatively speaking).
Bathroom shower is marble-ous...but sub-par...showering is an adventure. The decor is from the Victorian age if you like that heavy look...in fact, the Queen Mum stayed there. The breakfast buffet (eggs) was sub-par (eggs were horrible)...but lots of various types of ham and pastries...you'll be eating a lot of ham in Umbria and Perugia.
From our first steps through the door we were greeted and pampered by the friendly and accommodating staff. We were given a free upgrade to a nicer room without even asking for one! The bellhop showed us to our room and gave a short tour on the way. Our room was an average size but nicely appointed with upholstered walls, marble bathroom, king sized bed and a view to kill for! We looked over the entire valley surrounding Perugia and made sure to come back to the room for a spectacular view of the sunset. We made good use of the spa under the hotel and enjoyed the sauna and steam rooms very much. Our checkout was only slightly delayed when an error was discovered by the woman at the front desk-she caught the mistake and quickly made sure I was refunded the difference. We look forward to another stay next year!
The bed was on the firm side, but still one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in an Italian hotel. One of the hydrotherapy jets in the pool was not functional. The cost of breakfast was high,€19.20, So we skipped it and enjoyed a breakfast of chocolate out on the street at the Eurochocolate fest.
The location was good. The pool was quite lovely, not for swimming but for relaxing. Our room was very nice with wonderful views .
The price of the food was ridiculous. No doorman, no concierge and an inefficient front desk that was rarely friendly or helpful....not a five star property.
location is perfect! Our room had an incredible view over the valley and was a delight to stay in.
I liked it all
The hotel is gorgeous, perfect location, beautiful view, kind and friendly professional staff, the subterranean pool is AMAZING, room service breakfast was delicious and served elegantly, our young daughters were treated like princesses, parking was taken care of for us, it was a fabulous relaxing weekend get away.
wifi is charged and one must get all the instructions from the front desk.
Location can't be beat. Friendly, helpful staff, great restaurant and service.
Wifi was terrible.
The pool, the location, the staff assistance.
Wi-Fi was a challenge. It did not work in the room, had to go to the lobby to use, and needed assistance with the access code, as it seemed to change without notification.
We enjoyed our two-night stay at Brufani Hotel. The staff were excellent and very helpful. We had a beautiful view from our room. The hotel is very well located: quiet yet close to the town centre. The hotel is elegant and grand in the old style. The public areas are very pleasant and attractive.
The lingering smell of cigarette smoke in the room; the shower that didn't drain properly; the canned fruit at breakfast. These days, it is do easy to provide a selection of fresh fruit! The choice of bread was also limited.
The staff was helpful and friendly. The views from the rooftop terrace were lovely. The location of the hotel was also perfect. You can easily drive your rental car right to the hotel without having to navigate any of the tiny city roads.
The room views , the location and the luxury of the room was great. The breakfast was also very nice
The wifi was not working in our floor. they tired to fix it but it was too late to call a techician so we simply did not have any wifi.
Location and breakfast. Our room was wonderful with fabulous views over the valley. Very quiet.
Wifi was very poor.
the rates were very very expensive
Staff slow and rude, old and tired room in the attic
The locality being a bit further away from the main centre but within a few minutes walk. This made for a very relaxed feel for us. Bring able to sit outside for drinks and coffees with an amazing view from up high, superb.
Nothing. A very high standard hotel. A real credit!
The best thing is location!and it was very beautyful view from the window.
During the whole day there were no Wi Fi connection. And when I asked the assistance ,receptionist was helpless....
Location is fine
-Surly reception staff -Non existent wi fi(finally someone admitted they had a problem). - roof terrace not open, street terrace v. small/overcrowded. -indifferent breakfast.
Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Felt as though we were stepping back in time, but the room was wonderful, with plenty of space and 2 bathrooms! - but I feel sure we were upgraded from the superior room we booked to a junior suite. Car parking on site with very useful concierge parking.
Breakfast buffet was not as comprehensive as we expected and the choice of breads was very poor with no choice but hard white rolls on 2 days. Especially as it was 19.80 euros each. It got very boring by the 5th day!
Female Reception Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Stefano on Reception was not very helpful and at times quite rude.
wi fi a/c
Room, view, staff, spa, location Excellent
Wifi was inconsistent
The service was excellent. Carmela at the front desk was extremely helpful and everybody were friendly and very informative. In overall, the staff were prepared to serve a five start hotel like Brufani Palace. We felt like royalty and the treatment was according that feeling. The room was immaculate and the facilities were great. We believed that the location was a extremely convenient. We do not have any negative to say. Love it!!!!!!
