Right on the Grand Canal, Hotel Canal and Walter is a 2 minute walk across the canal from Santa Lucia Train Station, making it easy to find and great for exploring Venice.

Set on the island of Lido di Venezia, Albergo Rigel has air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV. Venice is just a 15 minute boat trip away and the beach is a 10 minute walk.
Score from 529 reviews Very good
Villa Giotto is a pretty residence dating back to the 19th century. It now offers beautifully modern apartments enjoying easy access to public transportation to Venice and the airport.
Score from 12 reviews Good
A 1930s villa, the Russo Palace features a private dock in Lido and offers beautiful views of Venice across the lagoon. The hotel is also right by the water-bus stop for Saint Mark's Square.

Staff were excellent and freindly
Thanks to the personnel of the hotel, it was a good small trip to Venice-Lido tat I appreciated.
problems with wifi in the room
Very beautiful hotel excellently located for trips to relaxing at Lido. View is marvellous and sleep quality great. Managers are friendly and it is a well run family hotel with personal attention. Restaurant is excellent and the chef is SUPERB. Breakfast as well as dinners are romantic and charming. VERY RECOMMENDED. Отличный отель, особенно ресторан. Повар просто виртуозный, в отеле стоит остановиться для спокойного отдыха на Лидо. Рекомендую брать полупансион или хотя бы иногда ужинать в отеле.
Size, location with views of Venice skyline. Incredible. Quiet and pleasant.
Not being aware that to get to Venice Lido the ferry costs 80€ for car +2people return. No coffee/Tea making facilities in room. Fridge was old and not functioning properly, nor the air-con till we had to bring it up.
The place of the hotel was nice. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel and it comes regularly and takes you to the beaches and the boat stations. İt is very near to the ferry boat. The hotel was clean and quiet with a nice sea view. The garden was nice. The style of the bedroom was nice. Bedroom facilities were nice. The bed was big and comfortable.
The breakfast was a little bit poor for a Mediterrenean country. For example there were no olives. Or we were expecting a richer breakfast but maybe it is standart in Italy. Wifi was a little bit slow. There was a computer at the entrance but it didnt work well because the version was very old. We expect better wifi and computer from a 4 star hotel. My husband was robbed in italy and he had no id cards and mobile phone. But the lady in reception did not care of it so much and at least she could have said "Is there anything that i can do or you?" These things were not very negative things but when you stay in a 4 star hotel and pay 120 euro for a double room it is a little bit unpleasant. But thank you very much though, we had a good time there.
The hotel is beautiful, in front of the sea side facing Venice. There is a beautiful backyard in the hotel with garden furniture, ideal for relaxing. The hotel is very clean and the staff very polite. There are tables outside that you can have your breakfast gazing the sea. There is bus stop in front of the hotel that takes you directly to the port of Lido. The beach in Lido is beautiful so I believe that it is a very good match for summer destination; beach & venice!
The location of the hotel was not optimal. There is no bus after midnight to take you from the port of Lido to the hotel, after an outing in Venice for instance. In this case you can take your car and you park it closer to the port or you take a walk for about twenty minutes to the hotel - It is a beautiful walk though in the costline of Lido.
Good restful location, relaxing Good connetions to the city of Venice and to the airport Good price-quality ratio
comfortable,location good and good food
out dated hairdryer which wasn't ant good. Also internet says lasts for 24 hrs when password put in,except it only lasts for about 10 mins at the most, which is very frustrating
Location evaluation is depending on customer's needs. It is logistically inconvenient place, however good to be away from busy place.
It may be possible for staffs to be more friendly at talking with guests.
The hotel is conveniently situated in the peace and calm of the Lido - a perfect contrast to busy, noisy...wonderful Venice. The staff are impeccably polite with excellent communication skills. Equally it is spotlessly clean. Everything is of the best quality, particularly the bathrooms. Surrounded by beautifully presented and immaculately kept gardens to the rear with uninterrupted views of the lagoon and the city of Venice to the front, it is a haven of peace. We have now stayed twice and it is to the Viktoria Palace we will return when next in Venice/Lido.
The only problem I detected was difficulty in accessing the internet via the hotel's wifi.
Very well-located, quiet neighbourhood, close to the main attraction - Venice.
Poor knowledge of English amongst cleaners, very slow reaction to a minor complaint (blocked uo washbasin)
We were informed at check in that the restaurant would be closed on two of the three nights of our stay, necessitating a bus trip to the centre of town. The range and quality of food at breakfast was poor; the extent to which items were replaced was variable and the restaurant staff seemed to have little concern that they were failing to meet clients' expectations. WIFI was theoretically available throughout the hotel but the signal was so poor in our room that no connection could be made.
Nice, secluded, intimate location. The view was stunning.
Room size was a bit small but was clean. The view more than made up for it.
The view and location was very nice and calm.
The room was nice but a bit small. We had to pay for a dog 10 EURO/night - usually the price is smaller. Also we came by car and we didn't expect that we need to take ferry to come to Lido di Venezia - we had to pay 26 EURO/one way by ferry + 7 EURO/person... To get to Venezia you need to take water tram as well: 3 day ticket per person- 30 EURO. So the reasonable price of the hotel didn't help much, coz we spend a lot for transportation. But in case you come sommer time - it is very cool place to stay. The beach is very near.
I stayed for two weeks and found Dora at the reception was exceptional, and the cleaning lady very respectfully of my rest time when I was sick and staying in bed. The transport from the hotel to the wards was coming often but it' seemed that the way back was lacking in explanations as to where one could take the bus and didn' t come as often at night.
The cleaning with noisy vacuum starts too early. The breakfast was on the stingy side with no fruits whatsoever. I stayed there for two weeks and every morning was same same. The gentleman greeting and serving at the restaurant for dinner was too pushy as far as I' m concerned and had some kind of business on the side...if we paid in cash to him, he didn't charge any tax...so he said.
everything was good except WiFi
I enjoyed the service along with the breakfast was excellent!
The wifi was very iffy.
no public area...poor lobby, poor light system for energy saving at the back of the lobby and floor. only bus access possible, but no information. I'll never recommend. Wifi impossible actually. stupid password system. you never imagine. Hotel gate is closed at night. I have to go another restaurant for Wifi 10 minute by car.
the free park, the cleaning,
my room was in a dependance, the breakfast very poor.
We had very good view from our room, sea view, fantastic...Wifi connection was good..
many dust in the room, look's like the staff didn't clean the room properly...the bed sheet was never change for 3 nights we were staying...
