Very clean, with easy parking around, outside of the old town but within less than 5 minutes from the entrance
Do not have elevetor, but it's only 1 floor up.
we booked two rooms, while one room was really pleasant (looking on a street), other had a teribble smell comming through a window from a kitchen below. this room doesn't a view (narrow path between buildings).
Lovely large room that has been decorated really well. Very nice host and close to the old city. Would easily recommend this place for others.
Amazing location, right next to the wall. Friendly service and knowledgable.
Small bathroom but not too much of an issue. Understandable given the location. No left luggage service.
1 million reasons to come back. I have 3 for you: Luciano, running the Buonanotte. And both Pasquale. One cooking like a god the other knowing what to drink and eat, a genius. All of them gave us a long lasting smile. Thank you all.
Don't know what to say. Only one restaurant in Lucca we will not recommend. An expensive joke with a Michelin recommendation. Never trust in such things.
It was clean, had air conditioning, reasonable price.
It felt claustrophobic, photos looked better than it was. Fine for a stopover.
Friendly helpful staff Close to east gate to walk in/around the small town basic room but good for one night
dont forget to call when you arrive as reception not manned walk from train station further than you think and path rough in places.
Buonanotte was close to the walls of Lucca's old city (about a 5 min walk). The size of the rooms wasn't too bad, although, typically, the bathroom was small. The rooms were lovely and clean. There were lots of choices for shopping and restaurants/cafes within the walls of the city. Lucca was an easy distance for a day trip to Pisa.
There was plenty of parking outside but it wasn't free until the evening. Free parking was a block or two away. It was hard to find the hotel, even using the GPS. Eventually we worked back from the city walls and found it.
The room was very nice and clean. The owner speaks good English and is really nice and friendly. Location is not too far from the city center, just a short walk away. Parking was available on the street. There is no big "Buonanotte" sign that would be clearely visible from the street, therefore it's better to pay attention to the house numbers if you want to find the place sooner. Lucca is a beautiful small city, definitely worth a visit.
Location and staff and traditional room
Busy road outside
Perfect location just outside the old city walls. There is a parking right at the spot. Luciano is very helpful and gives suggestions and all needed info.
Very close to city center, but outside the city walls, so it is possible to park for free Nice staff, although usually no one there Nice old bedroom, although refurbished and in pretty good condition, with big bed
Next to big busy street, so not possible to sleep with the windows open (important for those who not like sleeping with the air conditioning). No one usually at reception, only when called by phone Check-out too early Room cleaning service only possible at 10:00.
Good location clean room comfortable bed. You can park for free on a street opposite which is really handy
Room was quite small and dark but it was fine for the price
Due to a delayed flight I was very late arriving, long after check-in time, but Luciano was very patient and I was greeted with a warm Italian welcome. Ten minutes after dropping my bag I was in the middle of Lucca enjoying a beer. Highly recommended.
Luciano was amazing, a very helpful host. We had a last minute change to our booking and he was very accommodating.
Lucca was a bit dull. We were 3 females early thirties that found very little to do in the town.
Nice rooms and good price. Lucca is a hidden gem.
Good location Free parking in front of the house
Rather small room but was no real problem
Good location, clean and cozy
fairly close to the city clean and comfortable had a small fridge cute room we walked with our luggage from the train station about 10-15 minutes-close enough
normal air cond broken and replacement one was very noisy outside not set up for tourists and even coffee hard to get
Luciano (owner) extremely friendly and serviceminded. Good location.
Luciano is a friendly, efficient host. The room was spotless and quiet. Located just outside a gate in the ancient wall, the location is perfect for travelers with a car. Every sight of interest is within easy walking distance and parking is trouble-free.
the location was good, just outside the town walls and right next to a ristorante which served good food. Luciano was very helpful and there is free wi-fi.
The hotel has a nice location, with free parking infront. The staff is nice and helpful.
The check-out time is quite early- 10 AM.
