Score from 240 reviews Wonderful
Newly renovated rooms, Reception (Irena) very friendly helpful, Breakfast good, great coffee, location easy walk everywhere, super close to Rome Termini Station.
Very near to train station. Nice and helpful staff.
One night we don't have warm water because of the heating system.
Breakfast is to die for!!
Great value for the money. Friendly staff with mostly good English. Available baby crib.
The air conditioning did not work and it was always hot in our room. The wifi was very spotty and only worked about 65% of the time.
Location was good. This hotel is on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the building. Rooms on the 2nd floor are recently remodeled and have a modern feel. Breakfast was basic but certainly adequate. We enjoyed our stay.
Very comfortable and quiet. It was an easy walk from Termini Station to hotel. Also close to Coliseum and many restaurants.
For the first time we had to change hotels after the first night in Rome. We were staying at a horrible, unacceptable place and we were lucky to find Buonarroti free. It was a total life saver! Great value for money, all the basic features you expect from a budget hotel. Basic but good breakfast, clean, okay beds and amazing location. Totally recommended! By the way, the breakfast lady was the nicest person we met in Rome. She was always smiling and going out of her way to make sure we were comfortable.
Nothing really. You get what you pay for. Great value for money.
Location of place, was fairly clean, good coffee, fair breakfast, safe in room
First day no hot water for shower, lift did not work, wifi almost never worked, owner told us that parking was available within 5 minutes walking which turned out not to be true, had to find street parking, no English TV channel
Room was small but clean. People were nice and helpful.
Breakfast was not great. Elevator did not work all of the time, but we had only one flight of stairs, so it wasn't really a big deal.
We explained where the important places to visit. Rooms clean, breakfast was very good, the hotel is near the metro station. 100% perfect
Room was very nice and clean. The staff were great and very friendly.
Neighbors in the oposite bilding were a bit of noise
The people at Buonarroti we're friendly (Silvio and others provided us with some good advice about the places nearby). The hotel is located near Roma Termini, with many major places of interest at close proximity, many even being walkable. The hotel was clean and they let us leave our luggage on the last day, which helped us do some shopping before returning.
The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a central point of the city ( 2 mins from Vittorio Emmannuelle metro station, 10 mins from Termini station and 20 mins from Colosseum). The room was cleaned everyday and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was adequate.
The breakfast room, the elevator and the bedroom were a little bit smaller than i expected. The breakfast was served in the table, so there wasn't a buffet.
Close to everything: food, attractions etc. Staff very helpful. Be prepare to walk in order to absorb Rome vibrations: good or bad. I recommend it to everyone.
good location, decent room
Besides the wifi unstable.. I love the location and the facilities there
location, new, clean, service, hospitality, breakfast
We liked the fact that the hotel is close to the metro, and overall the city centre, the staff was friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was pretty monotone, wifi had problems (especially since we were in the last room), but halfway through they tried to fix it, with more or less success.
Location great! Great staff. Let us stay late to meet train schedule.
is very close to termini station, so you can walk few blocks. the personal is very friendly the breakfast is awesome, and you feel like home. capuccino is great. extremely clean, is all new .... the bathroom is very clean also
has to connecting o disconnecting every time you left the hotel to wifi
Wife was good. Breakfast was enough . Receptionist was very sweet..
Perfect location. All historic Rome is actually within a walking distance from this place. Also Termini or metro entrance are really close. Personel was very friendly and helpful, ordering a taxi was not a problem.. Hotel, room, bathroom were very clean. Last but not least they have great cappuccino, working well as a morning wake up..
The location is great, but can be a bit far from the train station if you have heavy luggage. taxi costs 9 euros from train station. Staff were very helpful. Rooms quite sound proof even though the hotel is located in a busy area. It is quite secure.
Rooms are small ... but for the money you pay, i think it is ok. There is a lift, but you have to climb a few stairs to access it. So for the people who have problems with lifting heavy luggage it can be an issue. Breakfast is basic (we hardly ate there in the mornings as the breads were cold at times and there was no toaster). The kitchen area where the staff prepare breakfast on level one appears to be not so clean.
Everything was good
Nothing bad about accommodation. Please attention! Near this hotel, same street, there is cafe: ANTICO CAFE SANTAMARIA. DONT GO AND SEAT THERE, THEY LIE ABOUT PRICES. 1 CROISANT COST 8 EUROS!!!, COFFE 6 EUROS (THEY HAVE BIG MENU INSIDE WHERE COFE COSTS 1,5 EUROS OFCOURSE YOU THINK IT'S OK BUT IF YOU ASK THE BILL YOU GET THIS CRAZY PRICE BECAUSE YOU ARE SEATING ) NOW YOU CAN IMAGENE HOW MUCH WILL COST TO EAT IN THIS CAFE MAYBE 100 EUROS.
