The breakfast was poor for a 4star hotel

We found the hotel in a good state, really fine place to stay for this price in Trento. Not far from the city centre as well, though far enough not to enter the city centre if you travel by car, which is good.

There is no parking in the hotel and we had to pay for the local one.

Great location, 5 minutes walk from Piazza Duomo in one direction and Buonconsiglio castello in the other. Modern room, 900 TV channels, fantastic shower, very comfortable.

Large room with spacious bathroom and rain shower. Hotel rooms keys enabled cleaning staff to know when we were within the room, so no knocking on the doors for room service required.

Breakfasts were Italian styled, not particularly satisfying for Irish guests, and relatively expensive to add to our room. Wi-fi was only really available in the public areas on the ground floor. Very limited english speaking channels on the tv.

The desk staff were friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We had only booked for 2 nights and were sorry we weren't staying longer at this friendly hotel and lovely city. The hotel is only a short walk from the station through or beside a beautiful park. A very scenic city with good food. Will be back one day. Highly recommended.

The one breakfast we had there was a bit limited. However with a bit more time there are some great places to eat very close by.

The hotel is just a few steps from the city center, in five minutes it is possible to reach on foot the train station, the Buonconsiglio Castle, and the main square. Compared to similar hotels I found on Booking (but haven't visited as a guest) that are right in the city center, it came for a very good price, and I stay of my initial impression that the difference in location is not an issue at all. The staff was very welcoming, and the room was perfect. The only glitch, which I'm not listing as an issue because is really a minor one, is the decor which looks quite dated in style (but in perfect condition, both for appearance and for functionality).
