It took the lady at the reception nearly 15 minutes to check me in. The room was okay, but not very clean, everything was quite worn out. Internet connection quite expensive and not very fast. The breakfast was poor. Old croissants and the coffee took almost 10 minutes.

Location is good, quite place. You can reach the Duomo in 10 min by metro which is only 50 meters from the hotel. During our stay metro was closed from 6p.m. due to strike. In this case you can reach the hotel taking a bus no.84. The staff was very helpfull, and the breakfast is satisfying completely. No issues to report.

The air conditioning was not working in the room. After complaining few times, they came up and turned it on, but it kept turning on and off all night. Service was good, room was very clean. No air conditioning in the room until throwing a fit.

Very good hotel, great north american breakfast, far from city center but easily accessible by metro, car is better (private parking under hotel 15 euros a night), neighbourhood not that safe... Maybe 3 stars would be more appropriate...

The staff was very helpful. Explained everything about attractions etc. good breakfast. Got our rooms on the first floor. Well I expected the room to be bigger because I don't know if there is really 25 sq meters as advertised on booking.com. Everything else was clean. Bit washed away due to being old styled I must say but clean.

The location to the metro is great. It's a minimum 10 min trip into central and most of the main attractions and shopping locations. It was also next to one of the best italian restaurants I have eaten at. I chose this hotel because it claimed to be a business hotel. The free wi fi system was cumbersome and slow and only available in the lobby downstairs, offering minimal privacy. The in room wi fi which promised to be quick was 11.50 euro. The hotel staff were friendly but clearly did not enjoy their job either, with a clear response to my complaints as it it was not the first time they had heard them. One even said, that despite understanding that they would also be annoyed, he was powerless to change the poor business service. Room service charges where incredible and was not available 24 hours - so too bad if your arriving flight was out of office hours.

Close to metro station. I stayed "executive room" but it's not execitive but just a room. When I checked in, the room key was not given due to some reason from hotel side (but not explained in detail). They promised the door would be locked by hotel side after we went out the hotel, but they didn't. When I was outside the hotel, the door kept open. After I came back to the room, the light bulb was burnt out. I told a hotel person to change the light, but he said it would be changed tomorrow (tomorrow was my checkout date) Finally, we told our complaints to the frontdesk. They told us the hotel mgr would do something (apologizing?) before checked out, but no one did so. I believed the good comments for the hotel, but it's totally wrong from our experience.

Close to tube station. Close to Linate airport by car. Wide choice of food at Swedish table for breakfast, but watch what you eat (some meat products were not very fresh). One member of reception staff was very helpful even being overwhelmed. The room was of adequate size for a 4 star hotel. Poor ventilation in bathroom - smell of mold. Shower was old and fixed to the wall in a constant height and angle. Room looked worn out. Old carpet, never cleaned in 3 days (or at all). We had a "nice" view to a warehouse with a parking lot. Once when we came back from a day in the city the door of our room was not locked, however nothing was stolen. There were no plastic cards: key at the reception. Neibourhood is not very nice. I would not feel comfortable to walk there alone after midday. Couple members of reception staff were rude. Yes, we were not business customers, we came after camping in Alps, we can carry our luggage ourselves and do consider internet for EUR11,50/day expensive. That does not excuse treating customers as 2nd class. This was the place we really did not like to spend our money at. There was free slow internet (with asking for new login info every 30min) at the lobby, but when it was dark outside the lobby was full of mosquitos- they were coming for the light through open doors and they did bite!!! There was a more tolerable internet option: EUR5,50/day for iPhone (stuck to device type and mac) in a room. Sharing that internet with a computer might not be legal, but is possible. I do not know who are the designated guests for this hotel, because they are not nice to tourists, but business customers (with their company paying for them) can have a better place to stay...

Our room for a family of 4 was very spacious. We enjoyed the meal at restaurant (even though the servers were not professional at all, but very polite and nice). Good breakfast (esp. nice staff who were trying to help the guests). Definitely not a 4 star hotel! Rude & grumpy staff at reception (not all of them)... No special amenities like coffee maker or good selection of teas at room... Very bad coffee in breakfast room (however you can ask for capuccino from the staff, and they will provide you nice one)...

Service at the hotel is very poor. Envorimentally the restaurant is in no good condition for your epitate. We had to pay the highest price for the worst dinner we ever had at Starhotels. We like Starhotels when we go to Italy for vacationing. Right before Starhotels Business Palace we enjoyed staying at Star Hotels Grand Milan, but not at this one. The room supposed to be "superior double room" it was not even a regular double room. This hotel does not suit to the good reputation of the group.

The hotel is simple and clean. Same words fit the rooms. Breakfast was really good. And location - just few steps from metro station, seven stops to Duomo (10-15mins) and 11 to the central station (20mins). Direct. Plus I have sent a fax to London for free. Staff at register really looks like businessmen-friendly and tourists- neverminded at the same time. But that is quite all about business (accept two small glass office rooms with computers and printers. Wi-fi in the lobby was just ridiculous. You get a wi-fi pasword valid only for half an hour. So that means you have to get a password every 30 minutes. Plus I have lived in the room for three and there was always something missing in the room for the third room. ATTENTION for all the people!!! Hotel does not have a triple room as it is written. Third person sleeps on the extra bed wich is not very comfortable (ranges from quite comfortable to really uncomfortable ones). So... Triple room is not 'so superior'...

- Very near to Metro Porto Di Mare, exit Via Gaggia (though we made a mistake and got lost all thanks to Google Maps =(. Friendly staff. Excellent bedsheets and pillow covers. Breakfast buffet was okay; filled our stomachs for the day. Allows early check-ins (if available) and late-checkouts (ask the desk for it) - Wifi costs 10.50EUR for laptops and 5.50EUR for small devices (iphone etc). Charge per device. - Not sure if its a common problem but the power went off on our floor on the last day of our stay. No power, no wifi, no heater/air-con.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. It's not exactly in the center of Milan but that's no problem at all. The Porto di Mare metro station is literally 60-70 metres from the hotel entrance. With Duomo just 7 stops away the city centre is very easily accessible. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. As the whole hotel, our room was also very clean and spacious. The breakfast is good with many choices. We would visit the hotel again for sure. We only have one complaint. We asked for one double bed but we got two sinlge ones united. I have to admit though that they were attached to each other with some way that we almost didn't notice at all. Anyway, it was a small problem.

Room was big with comfortable bedding and a big bathroom, hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel location was just next to a metro stop which goes directly to the Duomo without any changes in about 10 minutes, and the breakfast was very good. Only an English news channel and no Arabic channels on the tv.

Breakfast was definitely good. Location was a plus. 15 minutes to duomo with metro. Hotel is a few steps right off the metro station. Business hotel and there is no wifi on the room??? Doesn't make sense. Free wifi on the lobby but you need to get a password every 30 minutes. They should at least take off the business part on their name.

- friendly helpful staff - convenient location, close to metro - nice interior in the lobby, corridors and garden - hearty, delicious breakfast - When booking a 3-bed rooms provided for 2 persons with extra bed. The room had only 2 cups and other personal belongings. Did not provide bathrobes and slippers. - A bit fiddly free wi-fi. Only works in the lobby, and requires a new password every half hour.
