Great space

First of all the beauty of the house, gardens and swimming pool and how everything is well kept. Then the art collection: it's amazing! Also the decoration, which shows you how contemporary art can bring a knew life and interest to a well preserved ancient villa. Last but not least, the service is very good, with towels beeing changed morning and afternoon.

Breakfast ending at 10,30a.M. -it's rather soon.

La chambre : sombre (fenêtres basses), sans vue (sauf à se mettre à quatre pattes !), meubles et décoration un peu "bidon", bruyante (ventilation à l'extérieure) la salle de petit déjeuner sous verrière climatisée. Aucun service de repas à l'extérieur ...

La cuisine du restaurant

A villa onde está o hotel foi inteiramente reformada e modernizada. A decoração é muito criativa, repleta de obras de arte moderna. Muito criativo.

The staff at this hotel are exceptionally helpful. The restaurant (although we were the only diners) was incredible- really special and creative cuisine without being too complex.

Unfortunately this hotel is located in a not particularly charming area surrounded by industrial sites and no other restaurants or sign of tourist life. The hotel itself is bazaar?! Sexualised art all over the walls mixed in with images of creepy clowns. The junior suite was on par with what a standard room/deluxe room was in other major cities in Italy yet at the rate of a junior suite. The hotel tries too hard to be 5 star and lacks the niceties that a true 5 star hotel has (luxurious bedding, proper hotel menus/paraphernalia, cracked roofs, brightly lit corridors that resemble a hospital, cheap furnishings etc). I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone to stay in. It is 30mins from the town (40 euro cab or can take the transfer but they don't transfer after 7.30pm so you are trapped for dinner) and a very creepy and strange place in a foul part of Verona that no tourist should see.
